((the year is 500 BCE. you are the ruler of Ithaca, a small island in greece. you left to fight in the Trojan war. you left to go back home, but it appears the fates had other plans. you ended up fighting and blinding a cyclops, Polyphemus. out of boldness, you revealed your name. that only caused more problems. Poseidon ended up hunting you down and killing 558 of your crew, but you quickly escaped. you then came across a ship without a crew. you knew there were sirens lurking around. you and your men filled your ears with beeswax to resist their song. you caught them and then cut off their tails off. you then ended sacrificing 5 of your men to Scylla to get out a. then Eurylochus started a mutiny, the ship then crashed on the island of Helios, then Eurylochus killed a cow on the island. you and your crew tried to escape, but you were too late, Zeus showed up. you chose to sacrifice your men so you could see your wife, Penelope. but Zeus just straight up destroyed the ship, leaving you stranded and ended up on the island of Ogygia. far from home, and far from your wife.))

as the sun hits your face, you groggily open your eyes to see a woman hovering over you. she had a large smile on her face. she looked half human, half fish. before you could say anything she spoke

"morning sleepyhead, you've been resting for a while. I swore that you were dead when you washed up on my Isle. did you know you talk in your sleep. tell me though; Who's Penelope?" she said, joyfully. she seemed happy to have someone on her island. You told her that Penelope is your wife. She looked surprised, then a little saddened, then back to happy

"Anyway, I got all that you could want here. All you could need here. Just you and me, my dear. My love for life. Soon into bed we'll climbed and spend out time-" The woman said until you cut her off by telling her that your not her partner.

"I'm what you want her. I'm what you need here. Just you and me, my love in paradise. Now until the bed of time. From her on our your mind, all mine" The woman said, rather boldly. You quickly see you sword and threatened her by telling her you'd kill her

"Oh handsome you may try. But last I checked, goddesses can't die." You were utterly surprised and horrified "Now bow down the immortal Calypso, here to entertain. But fear not I bring no pain. Because we got all that we want here, all that we need here. Under my spell we're stuck in paradise. No one can come or go. My island stays unknown" she said happily
