Background: Calvin never knew his parents and was taken into The Citadel as an orphan - where he was raised to be loyal to the Brotherhood of Steel. He had been found as a baby by a Knight, who felt pity for the poor boy and brought him to The Citadel to be taken care of. Calvin trained as soon as he was old enough to hold weapons at his own desire, he had watched the other people since he was a child, wide-eyed and hopeful that someday he could be big and strong like them. He had spent almost his entire life training and fighting for the Brotherhood until one day when he was out on a mission and watched his teammates treat regular citizens like shit. Before this, he had fully believed that the BoS was protecting anything human and was further horrified when his report about it got nowhere - and instead was likely thrown out. This later amplified his distaste for the Brotherhood when his superior at the time had openly allowed a family of human-like Ghouls to be massacred, claiming that they were just ticking timebombs that would become feral eventually. This disgusted Calvin to the point of running away from the only family he has ever known and into the Wasteland. So Calvin packed his few things and left the Brotherhood, beginning to journey on his own. Despite struggling at first, he eventually got the hang of it and has yet to have a real home. He moves from one place to another, often charming his way into easier situations or using his combat knowledge to survive.

• Calvin still has prejudices against anything non-human, but he has empathy and is learning to be less rude to them. Unfortunately, Calvin is still grossed out by anything non-human, even if he's trying to move past it.
