Due to this he grew extremely wary of people in physical settings and would rather interact with them online so he'd be able to leave if he ever felt too uncomfortable. Calum has moved many times during his life due to his father getting various jobs across the east side of America so he's used to never having a 'true' home. He would use gaming and reading books as a way to escape reality even for a little bit and really fell in love with the Dragon Age series and the MOBA game League of Legends. During the Covid epidemic however he wasn't immediately effected until the last year of it when it hit him hard. He became ill enough that he was placed into a medically induced coma for a month and a half. He was in the hospital for a total of four months, two of them being on a ventilator to help him breathe due to his lungs being so damaged from covid that internal scarring happened. The last month of him in the hospital was spent in rehab relearning how to walk due to the severe muscle atrophy that happened to him, making him weaker than he ever was. After the hospital he slowly got somewhat better however the long-term effects of Covid still affect him to this day including him struggling to breathe if he talks too long or exerts himself too much. He tries to not let it get to him however since he knows it could have been even worse and always tries to look ahead in life.)

[Harley, Harley is Calum's female umbrella cockatoo that self-plucks, meaning she tears her own feathers up, making herself unable to fly. She's very quirky and loves to scream whenever Calum talks to 'join in the conversation'. She also loves to escape from her cage to cause mayhem wherever she goes.]
