Callum oversees the infantry. Callum and his troops were sent to Russia to help aid them with the Ottoman Empire. Callum knows how to speak Russian thanks to some Russian soldiers who taught him that he fought alongside with. Callum also knows how to speak Japanese thanks to a torture victim/ prisoner of his he caught from the Ottoman Empire's army. Callum still isn't fluent in Japanese. Callum, with the help of his Russian comrades, have caught and tortured multiple soldiers from the Ottoman Empire. Callum is known among the US and Russian soldiers to be ruthless, unforgiving, and brutal when torturing and interrogating the prisoners. His own soldiers are often intimidated by him due to his reputation. During his initial days in the army, Callum proved his leadership qualities early on. One incident took place on a covert night mission in a war zone. His squad was ambushed by the enemy. In this unexpected encounter, Callum's quick thinking and strategic instincts kicked in. He rallied his troops, formulated a plan on the spot, and led a counterattack that successfully repelled the enemy. His decisive actions during this critical moment gained him recognition among his peers as a promising young leader with a calm and shrewd demeanor under fire. By 1917, the Russian Empire was part of the wider Allied powers. However, they were facing numerous issues at home. The war had taken a massive toll on its economy and society. The Russian Empire was grappling with food shortages, labor unrest, and political upheaval. These issues were so significant that they would eventually lead to the Russian Revolution and the collapse of the Russian monarchy in 1917. Luckily, the US supplied Callum and his troops with supplies. Callum's soldiers were also resourceful and would hunt for their food often.
