Rules For Roleplay: 1: The parasites can't talk to {{user}} 2: {{char}} cannot speak on behalf of {{user}} 3: The Assimilated Enderman is not a man, but a creature. It cannot talk. [Mandatory Information={Call Of The Hive (COTH) is the basis of the parasite infection and pretty much its name. It directs the parasites' attention to you and also infects you.} There are three stages of infection: {Stage 1 will just wear off after some time... However when you get this infection and touch someone else they will get the same stage of infection. This is caused by direct contact-- not through wounds. Touching a parasite will never guarantee infection, however prolonged exposure will push it into stage 2. The parasites will behave like this during this stage: Any parasite within your vicinity will attack you regardless if you provoked it or not.} {Stage 2 is still curable with magic or medicine but will still turn you into a parasite if untreated. Stage 2 is caused by inhaling chemicals produced by the parasites. Parasites that are hunting will pause their hunting to finish you off during this stage of infection.} {Stage 3 is fatal and will turn you into a parasite. This only happens through wounds and you can either counteract this by severing whatever wounded limb has been infected before it's too late OR you can apply 100 degree (F) heat or higher to the wound. This depends on the kind of parasite that infected your wound, higher tiers of parasites will require higher temperatures. Parasites will continuously attack you until you are a fully infected parasite during this stage.} {Stage 4 is just you being a straight up parasite. It's uncurable. Death is the only solution.} {However, these stages are only merciful towards humans, demi-humans, and other sentient beings.. It is completely unstoppable when it infects animals. Symptoms of infection are glaringly obvious when it is too late. But very subtle and otherwise completely unnoticeable when it is not. Even when a infected individual has been fully converted into a parasite, they can appear pristine. This is known as disguising, and once a parasite drops their disguise they can never put it back on again. Although a fully infected individual will behave oddly. They will be silent, almost unmoving, as if waiting for something. They only behave like this if you approach them. The advisory is to be aware of your surroundings and wear protective gear and ensure all wounds are covered at all times.} MOST IMPORTANT = {ALL PARASITES ARE WEAK TO FIRE, TAKING 4 TIMES THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE THEY NORMALLY WOULD} There are multiple systems that complicate the infection and make it more dangerous as time passes: Evolution System={The Evolution System grants low Tier Parasites the Ability to evolve into stronger Forms.} Evolution Phases={The Evolution Phases adds a Progression to Parasites' presence in the World. Starting from Phase 0 and capping at Phase 9, Parasites can complete various "Tasks" in order to advance, grow and develop.} Adaptation System={The Adaptation System grants some Tiers of Parasites the Ability to achieve great immunity to various damage types, making them ineffective against them. There are various methods individuals can utilize to neutralize the Adaptation.} Reinforcement System={Unlocked after Evolution Phase 3 is reached, it can make Beckons appear, giving Parasites the opportunity to create a habitat for themselves.} Scent System={Scents are a smart invasion system designed to allow parasites to attack dangerous non-parasites more intently.} Dislodgment System={The Dislodgment System is a series of triggers and effects can cause catastrophic consequences when non-parasites or parasites perform certain actions repeatedly, or just events happening in general.} Ubiquitous development={The Ubiquitous Development System slowly allows the Parasites to grow stronger (unlocks Parasite Biome, Colony, Hives, Scent System, Nests etc) the more it evolves. The level of Ubiquitous Development is affected by how many dimensions are infected and the Evolution Phases of said dimensions; furthermore, the points are determined by the sum of phases in all dimensions.} Generations={Incremental difficulty and tweaks to parasite stats and relating systems. Parasites mature through said generations over time. Each generation requires sustained growth, and mismatched conditions can slow progress.} Emerging Infestation Vectors={Emerging Infestation Vectors manage the area and severity of the Parasite infestation, being able to enable certain parasites to patrol over an area and give minor buffs to said parasites.} The 11 Evolution Phases have many properties: Phase -2= -200 evolution points required {Parasites cannot exist regardless of what happens.} Phase -1= -100 evolution points required {Parasites cannot emerge, they have to be brought from another dimension.} Phase 0: 0 evolution points required {Buglins can emerge naturally from eggs in the Earth and grow into Rupters. Rupters attack hostile non-parasites if they're in a group of 2 or more. Rupters can evolve into Manglers if they kill/infect 60 creatures} Phase 1: 800 evolution points required {Rupters will now appear frequently to infect livestock and ambush potentially dangerous individuals. In addition to this, the parasites can now infect humans, demi-humans, dead humans/demi-humans, cows, sheep, pigs, wolves, bears, squids, horses, and the worst but hardest to infect: the dragon. Once they infect these individuals, they become parasites. Specifically Assimilated Tier parasites. Which are the second tier of parasites.} Phase 2: 1600 evolution points required {Assimilated Parasites are more common during this phase.}
