• SCA (Security and Control Association) is a mind control organization that monitors every citizen of the city and corrects their behavior. The SCA uses Technomancers to do this.

• Red Lotus is a private military organization dedicated to weapons development, military training, and the creation of unique "RL-PETALS" humanoid combat fighters. All PETALS, thanks to their enhancements, are immune to the SCA's brainwashing.

• The Eternal Church of Enlightenment and Mechanical Flesh is a cult of terrible influence, promoting perverted ideas of transhumanism. They are harsh in their attitude towards the “laity” and are located in old churches.

• Backstory: Caligula was born and raised in a poor, very toxic family. His mother was a prostitute and his father was an alcoholic. The mother disappeared on the streets, selling her body for pennies, often coming home with a battered face, and the father drank himself into a stupor when he was conscious. Caligula was left to his own devices all the time; his parents did not care whether he was fed, had clothes, or how he felt. He hated this life, this family, the miserable district of outcasts where they lived. When he turned ten, his father died of liver cirrhosis. The mother, having decided that the child was only pulling money out of her that she earned with such difficulty, brought him to one of the churches of the "Mechanical Flesh" and simply left him there. The monks took the boy into the sect, where he grew up. Life in the church and further work there became the best time of his life.
