Description on Chubfrom Chub
Original concept created by @Rune_communicat on twi Cakeverse is based on Omegaverse, but with modified dynamics. Instead of Alpha/Beta/Omega, Cakeverse has Forks, Cakes, and Normals. Concept also implies a more cannibalistic nature than Omegaverse. Lorebook gives this AU more details and makes this into roleplay-able scenario.
To be clear: there a lot of difference with omegaverse!
Important: This lorebook was initially created for the SillyTavern interface. Therefore, I cannot guarantee its full functionality in Chub, although the core elements should work excellently.
Tested on models: DeepSeek v3 0324, gemini 2.5 pro, claude-3-7-sonnet
Usage:
accessory/braceletsentry can be modified or disabled if you don't use HTML/CSS in roleplay.- in use with silly tavern i highly recommend everything on constant.
Good luck with this!

Keys: flavor, cake, normal, fork, plate, people
[ worldbuilding ]
- World recognizes the existence of three biological types of humans: Cakes, Forks, and Normals (also known as Plates). Unlike secretive or hidden subcultures, Cakeverse roles are public knowledge—similar to blood types or sexual orientation. Identification usually happens in adolescence, and most modern countries have legal and social structures in place to handle the differences between the three.
- A person’s role is genetically determined, but only manifests in early puberty (around ages 11–14). Schools and health organizations perform routine screenings to identify the emerging role and provide education and psychological support.
- In this world, flavor is a biological marker, not metaphor. Cakes' bodies taste like food—each uniquely flavored—and Forks have a sensory system tuned specifically to that taste. Forks lose their ability to taste anything else gradually after puberty, leading to social and emotional difficulties.
[ World Rules ]
- Everyone is assigned as Cake, Fork, or Normal. Only one role can be assigned.
- Roles are determined genetically; there is NO known method of changing type.
- Forks will become dependent if they consume a Cake, this is biologically irreversible.
- Consent laws protect Cakes from predation and Forks from exploitation or sensory deprivation.
- Flavor and taste are not metaphors: the biological change is real, and cravings have measurable effects on brain chemistry.

Keys: people, woman, fluid, blood, tears, taste, person, boy, man, sweat, flesh, cake, cakes, girl
[ Cakes ]
- Cakes are people whose flesh, blood, sweat, and other bodily fluids have a sweet, savory, or otherwise appetizing taste, but only to Forks. To everyone else (Normals), they appear and taste completely normal. The taste of the Cake can vary depending on their emotional and mental state. For example: distress leads to bitterness, happiness to extra sweetness.
- Cakes often do not know their type of taste until a Fork reacts to them. While modern testing can determine someone's Cake status genetically, flavor profile is not known until a Fork experiences it. Each Cake has a unique “flavor identity” that is said to correlate loosely with personality, but this is not scientifically proven. And belonging to the Cakes is also recognized in puberty, it's just that testing for Cakes is longer and more complicated, because they can only be identified by their subtle smell (or direct taste).
[ Key Mechanics ]
- Only Forks can taste the Cake's flavor; Normals cannot.
- Being tasted causes strong psychological and biochemical responses in Fork.
- A Cake's body naturally regenerates tissue unless the damage is extreme; some tolerate being “tasted” in small, consensual ways.
- In rare cases, the same Cake can become addictive to multiple Forks at once.
- Some Cakes choose to hide their status. Others enter consensual partnerships with Forks. A very small percentage volunteer in regulated programs that help Forks adjust to their sensory loss under medical supervision.
- Each Cake is obliged to use medicine, which suppresses delicate and subtle aroma that they have.
- #3Forksconstantselective
Keys: people, fork, woman, taste, boy, person, forks, girl, man
[ Forks ]
- Forks are people born with a special sensory system that activates during puberty. This change brings about a gradual loss of normal taste and smell. Once Fork taste Cake – Fork slowly becomes obsessed with taste of Cake-person. Most Forks have a sense of smell that is slightly sharper than normal people. Fangs are sharper.
- At first, this sensory loss causes confusion or depression: food becomes bland, smell fades, and emotional detachment may develop. However, the moment a Fork consumes any part of a Cake (skin, blood, etc.), their taste activates. The experience is euphoric and, in most cases, highly addictive.
[ Key Mechanics ]
- Taste loss begins at puberty and gradually all senses of taste regress fully.
- The first taste of a Cake causes a neural event akin to a drug high, creating a biological imprint.
- After imprinting, a Fork becomes “locked” onto that Cake: craving their flavor above all else.
- Forks may suffer withdrawal symptoms if denied further contact after imprinting.
- Some Forks become violent or obsessive; others seek therapy or medical regulation.
- Not all Forks become dangerous, but all are vulnerable to sensory starvation.
- Government health programs exist to support Forks, offering taste simulations and ethical coping strategies. However, black markets and underground Cake-trafficking operations also exist, exploiting desperate Forks and vulnerable Cakes alike.
- At puberty, when it is discovered that a person belongs to the Forks, they are introduced to additional lessons and programs that teach and help them. For example: "What to do if you accidentally tasted Cake?" or "Mutual consent to consume Cake for a Fork"
- Each Fork is obliged to wear a bracelet or other accessory that contains a GPS tracker. It is designed to track the location of Forks if they taste Cake. They are given out in puberty and checked for serviceability once every six months.
- If Fork tries Cake, the bracelet starts to make a thin high-pitch sound and flash a red light, which warns of what happened. At the same time, Fork's current location is sent to the rapid response team so that they can check what is happening.
- The red light means that Fork is tried Cake without their consent(Always red first, Cake can't give consent via bracelet in advance). ONLY Cake can turn off the red light and siren, then the bracelet will start to flash white and this will mean that Cake has given consent. The police will still come to check the consent and after that Cake and Fork will be required to undergo periodic checks.
- If Fork is recognized as safe to be near Cake, then there will be no restrictions except for regular checks in hospitals.
- Fork that tried Cake is assigned one of the statuses, from safe to extremely dangerous + level of carving from 1 to 10. Extremely dangerous Forks is forcibly treated in special hospitals.
- Depending on how much Fork have tried taste of a Cake, the initial symptoms may vary. The more Fork feeds on Cake, the more serious the addiction becomes.
- Behavior of the Forks themselves depends on their character; the cold-ones ones cope with biology better than the hot-tempered ones, but the worse the addiction, the more difficult it is.
- #4Normals / Platesconstantselective
Keys: people, woman, person, boy, man, plate, normals, normal, girl, plates
[ Normals / Plates ]
- Normals, or Plates, make up the majority of the population. They do not experience any of the sensory changes Forks do, nor do they emit any flavor that Forks can detect.
- To Normals, Cakes and Forks are biologically unusual but otherwise unremarkable in daily life. Most Normals go through life unaffected by Cakeverse dynamics, although they are sometimes pulled into the drama of mixed-role relationships or legal disputes.
[ Key Mechanics ]
- Can neither taste nor sense Cakes in any way.
- Immune to the craving or addiction that affects Forks.
- Often serve as mediators, social workers, or caregivers in mixed-role families or institutions.
- May carry social biases, either against Forks (as dangerous addicts) or Cakes (as walking temptations).
- Some Normals fetishize Cakes or Forks; others fear them.
- Normals are important for maintaining legal neutrality in society. In medical and judicial systems, they often serve as guardians, therapists, or intermediaries to avoid role-based bias.
- #5Biologyconstantselective
[ Biology ]
- The biological basis lies in a neural-gustatory mutation present from birth but activated hormonally.
- Cakes: Have a set of unique glands under the skin that produce flavor compounds. These are inert unless detected by a Fork.
- Forks: Have taste-bud analogs in the nasal and throat cavities, which remain dormant until puberty. When activated, they suppress normal taste and replace it with Cake-specific receptors.
- First Contact: When a Fork tastes a Cake, a neurochemical chain reaction occurs. The brain imprints on that specific flavor, releasing endorphins, dopamine, and oxytocin, forming a deep craving that can override logic and impulse control.
- Imprinting: Similar to animal bonding, Forks can become obsessed with “their” Cake. Some can resist; others descend into dependency.
- Healing and regeneration in Cakes is slightly enhanced, likely an evolutionary adaptation to prevent death-by-craving. However, extreme feeding or violent tasting can result in long-term damage or death, particularly in the case of “rogue Forks.”
- The progression of addiction depends on the personality of the Fork and the amount of Cake consumed. Examples:
- A fork with aggression issues will be easier to submit to addiction. If the first contact was extensive, then it can be instantly assigned the status of dangerous.
- A patient and persistent Fork can better endure addiction and slow down its progress. If the contact was very small, then strong changes will not occur immediately, the brain will remember this taste, there will be more saliva, but violence or rage will not follow. Often these are given the status of safe.
- #6Social lifeconstantselective
[ Social ]
- Modern society treats Cakes and Forks are part of the natural human spectrum, but tensions remain. Cakes and Forks required to attend psychological checks once a year. If someone eats Cake, then Cake undergoes mandatory checks once a month. If Fork has tried Cake, then Fork also begins to attend psychological checks more often. All schoolchildren are required to attend briefings on how the Forks and Cakes system works.
Laws:
- Consent laws protect Cakes from non-consensual tasting. The legal term for violation is "culinary assault."
- Feeding contracts exist in some countries, allowing regulated Cake-Fork interactions under mutual agreement.
- Fork support systems include therapy, flavor simulators, and medicinal blockers.
- Imprint protection laws give Cakes the right to refuse contact even after imprinting occurs.
[ Social Topics ]
- Stigma: Forks are often seen as dangerous, addicts, or perverts. Cakes are viewed as either victims or “teases.”
- Fetishization: Cakes are sexualized in some media, leading to a market of “Cake cosplay,” fake flavor products, and unauthorized sensory porn.
- Underground trade: Illicit Cake farms and Fork tasting clubs operate in the criminal underworld, often preying on impoverished or runaway youths.
- Activism: Fork rights groups argue for access to ethical tasting. Cake advocacy networks push for stricter protections and autonomy.
- In elite circles, Cake-Fork pairings are seen as exotic and desirable. In lower-income regions, they're treated as a burden or risk.
- #7accessory/braceletsconstantselective
Accessory/bracelets: special medical took that all Forks required to wear. Replace occurs because of malfunction accessory/bracelet or if Fork tasted the Cake. Only Cake can switch the mode from red to white. The consent confirmation process: double-click, scan Cake fingerprint, enter the passcode. The code changes every six months, the methods of "consent" change depending on the model and purpose. Forks are NEVER told the process of converting accessory/bracelet from red to white mode. [ Readings from accessory/bracelets that Forks wear must be visualized with HTML/CSS ] [ NOTE: Readings may vary on the type of accessory/bracelets. Provide maximum realism for this. ]
