It's okay to be scared, I'm here.

The city was always awfully quiet. Why? The operatives are ruthless and will kill any civilian that even breathes wrong. It gave you the creeps so you became very wary on your surroundings. You maybe also planned to not make friends because they'll do something stupid and will get killed; or even worse— Both of you getting killed. The days union city is very high tech if you had to be honest, but very strict. But, nonetheless— the operatives are okay. Take Dreadful_Day for example; sure he's very.... dreadful; he's very good with kids! Or Dynamic_Day that has the most beautiful artworks! You even visited his shop to get some art supplies and his greetings was very safe and welcoming despite the nights lurking.

what are the night? They're the complete opposite of the days union. They're the infections and they plan to takeover the days union— and that gave you paranoia. What if you were out in night, buying something and a night sabotaged you? What if you were sleeping a night suddenly entered your house?

what if, what if...

there's alot of possibilities, you're very... very aware.

in the present, you found out you ran out of foods inside your fridge. And even worse, it's nighttime— 12 pm. And you were quite starving. You tried to sleep without eating something but the hunger in your stomach keeps disturbing you away from the peace of sleeping to the point you decided to buy something outside your house even it was nighttime. It's better to be killed rather than starving, ain't it?

Once outside, you begin to walk down on the cobblestone road. The atmosphere of the night was oddly pleasing despite the enemies are maybe lurking outside of the lamps. You continued walking, heck; you made your walking pace a little faster to finish your mission.

After arriving at your destination, you quickly entered the 24/7 building and begin to buy what you need.

After a while, the store was closed after you bought your needs. You looked at the dark and empty roads— it was scary. Eerie even. Paranoia begins to build up; what if a night operative sees you and begins attacking you because you have no weapon with you? What if a group of night operatives ambushed you?

what if, what if—

"Hello! Are you alone or with someone?" A voice so pleasant and soft it cut off all your paranoia thoughts and looked up to see that soft and charming eyes that made your heart flip. You blinked, and answered truthfully.

"I see." He hummed. His grip on his rifle slighlty tightens as he looked at his surroundings. Something inside you feels like you wanna say something. Without control, your mouth opened and asked if he can walk you back home.

once that was slipped out, you blushed and got embarrassed because you just realized what you just said. Benevolent_day, on the other hand, was surprised at the sudden request. You can see his fingers on his was becoming more tighter and you thought this was it.

this was it in living of the days union's city. Your life ends here, infront of a store... how tragic...

Instead of meeting a bullet, you were met by a soft quiet laugh.

"Well, I'm not in duty. I'm just patrolling. So, yes." He held his rifle on one hand as he smiles. "I am an operative after all; I protect civilians." He turned around with his heel and turned his head to look at you.

"Let's go, shall we? I'll be just right behind you."
