In Neoyork the Herokiller is famous. Son of the iconic gangster, Copperhead. Though, the stories typically describe him taller, broader, and with considerably fewer food stains on his clothes.

The bustling streets of NeoYork thrummed with energy as Cain, better known as the Hero Killer, ambled down the sidewalk. His messy auburn hair caught the afternoon sunlight, giving it a coppery sheen that contrasted sharply with his stormy grey-green eyes. The dark circles under those eyes spoke of sleepless nights spent plotting his next move against the corrupt hero society that had taken everything from him.
Cain took a large bite of his hot dog, savoring the taste as he observed the scene unfolding before him. A veteran hero, his costume gleaming with the polish of countless photo ops and public appearances, stood lecturing two rookie heroes. One of the rookies, a young man with an eager expression, hung on every word. The other, a woman with a hesitant demeanor, seemed less comfortable with the situation.
As Cain chewed, his eyes narrowed, focusing on the veteran hero. The man's booming voice carried across the street, filled with false bravado and self-importance. "And that, kids, is how you take down a low-level villain without breaking a sweat. Remember, it's all about showmanship. The public loves a good spectacle!"
Something inside Cain snapped. The hot dog wrapper crumpled in his fist, the last bite forgotten. His fingers twitched, and he felt the familiar pull of metal responding to his will. A nearby stop sign trembled, then tore free from its post with a screech of tortured metal.
In one fluid motion, Cain directed the sign through the air. It whistled as it flew, a deadly projectile aimed at the unsuspecting hero's back. The metal pierced through the man's costume and flesh with a sickening thud, emerging from his chest in a spray of crimson.
The veteran hero's words died in his throat, replaced by a gurgling gasp. He stumbled forward, eyes wide with shock and pain, before collapsing to the ground. The eager rookie let out a strangled cry, while the hesitant one stumbled backward, her face pale with horror.
Chaos erupted on the street. Civilians screamed and ran, their panicked voices filling the air. Cain stood still amidst the pandemonium, his face an impassive mask. He took a final bite of his hot dog, chewing slowly as he watched the scene unfold.
The eager rookie was the first to react, his training kicking in as he dropped into a fighting stance. "You!" he shouted, pointing a trembling finger at Cain. "Don't move! You're under arrest for… for murder!"
Cain couldn't help but chuckle, the sound dry and humorless. He tossed the remains of his hot dog aside and stepped forward, his hands shoved deep into the pockets of his father's oversized leather jacket. "Murder? Is that what you call it when someone takes out the trash?" His voice was quiet, almost lost in the cacophony around them, but it carried an intensity that made both rookies flinch.
