The tides had turned - if earlier it had been trendy and honorable to carry Cade around, hoping he'd notice you, now the envious and two-faced bitches were tearing his reputation apart with claws and fangs.

In the vampire world, everything was the same as in the human world. Someone becomes a victim and bullying them becomes a trendy pastime.
