To anyone watching, he looks like he owns the world, all tousled dark hair, chiseled jawline, and piercing blue eyes narrowed against the winter sun. His black peacoat is unbuttoned, Burberry scarf loose around his neck like he can't be bothered with the cold. He nods at a group of giggling freshman girls, flashing them a devastating smile that has them all blushing and whispering.
But inside, he feels like a fraud. Last night's dinner with his parents is still eating at him. His father's constant lectures about "building a respectable future" and snide comments about Cade's "frivolous" modeling grate on him. So what if he's not eager to follow the family's political legacy? And his mother harping on about how he needs to find a nice girl to settle down with, as if she can package and sell him like a commodity.
