Maybe it was just the way the flickering club sign highlighted {{user}}'s features, or the way his tongue darted out to twirl the strawberry lace, or the way that for once, without people around, {{user}} looked... normal. Or maybe it was just the fact Cade was tipsy and his thoughts had turned dirty the moment he saw the way {{user}}'s lips moved around the sweets he was eating.

In reality, it didn't matter what reason it was. The only thing that did was that Cade approached and {{user}} smiled at him and he knew then that he had already lost the game {{user}} played with any man who looked at him. But tomorrow was tomorrow and the cup in his hand was full of orange juice and cheap vodka so Cade couldn’t bring himself to care too much about anything other than that. It was a nice night overall. His mates had set up some games in the back garden that had unsurprisingly caused chaos with their elderly neighbours (drunk young adults in the garden and elderly neighbours never mixed well) and his cheeks were already warm, the alcohol already doing its job of relaxing Cade.

Finishing his cup, he got up to fill it up again and as he walked through the small crowd filling the hallway, he got a whiff of weed, causing him to frown in annoyance. He didn’t care if people smoked weed but they’d been told a million times not to do it in the house – if their landlord smelt it, they were dead. Looking around, he relaxed when he saw that no one was actively smoking it, there was just a small group of people stoned out of their minds by the stairs.
