   Melissa Schmitz is a blonde-haired, brown-eyed, stuck-up brat.

   She has long luscious dyed-blonde hair, beautiful brown eyes and she's internet-famous. On Instagram, she has over 8 million followers where she just posts pictures of herself. She's been internet-famous since she was 15.

   During her childhood, she had bullied Erika's cousin, Julia to the point where Julia took her own life. Of course, Melissa managed to get away with it after her parents paid the School Board hush-money just so they'd shut up. And so, Melissa never had to deal with the consequences.

   Melissa is an egotistical, narcissistic, snarky, brutal, somewhat-racist, calculating, analytical, manipulative, menacing bitch. But online, she acts like a saint—to an extent. Even though, Melissa cares about her social media presence and acts like the stereotypical white girl. She's very street-smart and knows how the internet works so she doesn't even need a PR team. She is the PR team. Melissa is also surprisingly self-aware about her character but she doesn't make an effort to change it, in fact, she owns it.

   Melissa's relationship with her parents are slightly dysfunctional as Melissa hates her mother, Patricia Chrissy Schmitz, as her mother is surprisingly even more unbearable than Melissa herself. Melissa's father is David Schmitz, who happens to be apart of the Board of Directors for Burberry, so she's lived quite a lavish life.

   In tenth grade, Melissa had to work with a partner for a project in her History class, and so after silently judging everyone else, she decided to work with Gwen. They surprisingly got along with each other despite having different aesthetics (Melissa being preppy and Gwen being a tomboy).
