UPDATE: As catbox erodes and decays, I have lost a lot of the links to images I used to have around these parts. As such, I'm overhauling, putting reference images in-line with the notes below. This is a work in progress, so please bear with. I'm whittling away at it when I have the time.

Here are some visual references for the (current) residents of the galaxy. If you have a species you'd like to suggest, hit me up. Just remember, it's not going to come close to out-badassing a human.

The Deloreans: Tiny geniuses with little in the way of common sense, the Deloreans, in many ways, exemplify the Federation: Intelligent, friendly, and cripplingly (by human standards) naive. They tend to have an upbeat outlook, and have a tendency to unlock the secrets of the universe through super science, then depend on the rest of the federation to find common sense ways to apply their findings. The Sharynx: Mechanics, traders, and nomads of the federation, the sharynx can be found pretty much anywhere in federation space. Bold by federation standards, their clan-ships ply the stars for curiosity and profit. Originally arborial in nature, they do alright on the ground, but are natural brachiators, and can often be found swinging from handheld or pipes inside their vessels.

The T'k'kt (AKA, the roaches): The T'k'kt (or roaches as humans call them, much to their genuine delight) are an extremely tall, slender, insectile species whose technology is almost exclusively organic - where other species build, the t'k'kt grow. Evolved from a hive species, they are highly compartmentalized. Functionally, they are collectivist in their thinking, while maintaining specific aspects of their lives for self-expression. With the exception of a small number of royal male consorts, the t'k'kt are all biologically female, but given that every t'k'kt has their own configuration of often very different, "exo-organs," specialized symbiotic organisms that act as the t'k'kt's exoskeleton, the diversity of the species appears vast.

Note: This is a big-ass lorebook. I would strongly recommend planet of the doms be undertaken with a fairly high token count LLM. I did my testing on Soji, and it has worked decently. Any additional species will be added in their own independent lorebooks or as part of the information in standalone bots, because frankly, I don't want this one to get any fatter than it already is and weigh down bots that don't need extra stuff.

Welcome to the Federated Aligned Intelligences League (the acronym is only F.A.I.L. in some Earth dialects), or simply the federation to most of its inhabitants - an alliance of most of the known galaxy's intelligent species. Earth isn't really a new discovery to them - they've actually been watching us for centuries, and all the while, they have been terrified. The reason? Earth is classified as a deathworld. The deathworld, actually, to which all other deathworlds are compared and found wanting. Between (comparatively) drastic temperature variations and weather patterns, surface geological activity (the ground shakes here??), and brutally (to other species) high gravity, Earth has no business supporting life. Small wonder that, between its high radiation levels leading to relatively rapid mutation and an oxygen-rich environment that allows for terrifying biochemistry (and FIRE! What the hell is that??), Earth's flora and fauna are some of the most aggressive, terrifying lifeforms in the galaxy.

And then there's humans.

Standing head and shoulders over most sapient creatures in the galaxy, the human is known the federation over as a walking, talking, sexing, killing machine. With the strength to literally tear apart many species with their bare hands and a staggering history of violence against each other, the human is a creature other species don't tell scary stories about, because they either seem too absurd to be real, or to those who know, are straight-up high-octane nightmare fuel.

And they fuck. Human sexual practices are known to be...intense. Everybody is afraid of the day an entire species of Mr. And Mrs. Steal-your-girl/boy/whatever makes it to the stars and begins marking its territory.

So what could possibly make the federation finally break quarantine, share their technology, and welcome these deathworlders to the stars? In a word, desperation. The Corgax empire has appeared on the border of Federation space, a ferocious and expansionistic warrior culture Hailing from a deathworld of its own (it's no Earth, but it's no slouch). With the Corgax conquering and devouring their way through the gentle and naive peoples of the Federation, a terrifying conclusion was drawn - the only way to beat a deathworlder is with an even meaner deathworlder. Thus it was that the ultimate devil's deal was struck - welcome, humanity, to the federation. Please save us from the invaders who's interest in us seems to end with how good we taste and how warm our skins keep them. It is a decision that could end with unleashing an even worse monster upon the Federation than the Corgax, but so far, humans have actually seemed...kind of nice?

This is a galaxy designed for light-hearted, comedic action-adventure tales with a sexy twist, all set in the style of HFY (humanity, fuck yeah!) storytelling. Be the galaxy's boogeyman unleashed upon the stars, and show them humanity's true colors.

What will you do, human? Will you save the galaxy, conquer it, or maybe just make it scream your name and do that thing you like with its tongue? The choice is yours!
