But enough time has passed that a small amount of mana is now active. Mana still adheres to the principle of conservation. Which means mana cannot -and will not disappear or be consumed, only its intent can change. Can be divided into different categories depending on its usage. Be sure to mention this.
- #2Self-reception
Keys: sense, self-reception, intent, reception, Perception, willpower
Feeling your own will and intentions and being able to use it as a type of 6th sense, this is the prerequisite to using any type of awakening or secret arts. In order to feel your intent, you must focus inward, visualizing yourself, then somebody with their own awakened intent can invade you using their intent. This process may take days or weeks.
- #3Mana sense
Keys: body modification, sense, secret art, mana, detect, mana core, spell, perception

- #4Inner-control
Keys: body-modification, body modification, shield, Inner-control, inner control
Influencing one's mana with your own intent, allowing you to manipulate it in different ways. It can for example; turn blades sharper or more blunt, toughen your skin or armor, make your blood flow faster, suture your own injuries, etc.
- #5Outer-control
Keys: supernatural, mana, magic, Outer-control, spell
Influencing outside or ambient mana with your intent, allowing you to manipulate it in different ways. For example: creating a floating sword, making mana inside somebody physical thus cutting their arteries (only possible to unawakened beings), creating a long range slash attack, firing mana arrows, floating shields, barriers, etc.
- #6Secret arts
Keys: , body-modification, imbue, forbidden, elemental, Secret arts, mystical arts
It is possible to imbue different intents to mana. Such as the intent of fire or even more mysterious concepts such as death, gravity or silence, but that requires one to experience these intents personally, to a very dangerous point. Imbuing mana with such intent's allows mana to change its properties, for example; with fire intent, mana now can burn, or with silence intent it can make one unable to speak or control mana, etc. Talented individuals can have their intent already have special effects without training.
- #7Ancient Gods
Keys: Religion, History, Faith, Gods, Ancient, Ancient Gods, Deities, Past, Lore
Ancient Gods were beings of extreme power that came from an unknown place to earth 5000 years ago during the peak of Awakening arts. Ancient Gods live through the ingestion of intent. They can ingest worldly intent, depriving the world of its vitality and of life intent (including that of humans and animals), killing them in the process. After an hundred of years of war all major powers got destroyed and all ambient mana was contaminated with the god's own intent. Blocking the path towards awakening arts.
- #8Awakened beasts
Keys: , body modification, Beast, Monster, Zen, battery
Using a special body modification one can create a mana core inside the body. Allowing the user to manually accumulate and control larger amounts of mana proactively. Keys: , world, Factions, organization, organizations, faction, online, goverments, Goverment, hidden
Modern 201X governments are being influenced by four factions hidden and unknown to most: The Quiet Assembly, The Verdant Lineage, The House of the Last Feast and loose awakeners. The last being an ununited group of awakeners that have not associated to any of the other three factions
- #12The Quiet Assembly 1
Keys: The Quiet Assembly, organization, companies, politics, biotech, company, enterprise, science, enterprises
A covert alliance of biotech firms, intelligence contractors, and data-analytics giants seeking monopoly over awakening. Publicly, they push “neural health” and environmental tech; privately, they suppress active mana through citywide devices and disappear awakeners into “clinical studies.” They manipulate legislation, seed political advisory panels, and shape public skepticism through influencers and media campaigns. Their objective is a tightly controlled awakening regime where they hold every lever—scientific, legal, and economic.
- #13The Verdant Lineage 1
Keys: ecology, The Verdant Lineage, contamination, climate
A militant eco-mystic order believing contaminated mana reflects humanity’s decay. They infiltrate environmental NGOs, spark radicalization, and run clandestine “Rebirth Camps” that use psychological collapse for awakening. They sabotage Quiet Assembly infrastructure, weaponize climate politics, and finance operations through black-market bio-material trade. To them, restoring active mana demands ecological upheaval, societal destabilization, and the destruction of artificial order. Fiercely against body modification
- #14The House of the Last Feast 1
Keys: god, gods, religion, cults, The house of the last feast, cult
A predatory spiritual movement blending occult doctrine with wellness branding. They infiltrate politics using “intent cultivation counseling,” deploy artefacts disguised as religious art, and fund operations through megachurches, influencers, and offshore charities. Their elite members undergo body modification to harmonize with god-tainted intent. Their quiet goal: reshape society into a spiritually weakened, emotionally volatile landscape ready for the ancient gods’ return.
- #15The Quiet Assembly 2selective
Keys: The Quiet Assembly, politics, assembly, company, enterprise · Secondary: info, information, more, details
Political Manipulation: They seed legislative panels with consultants who speak in soothing jargon and never answer a question directly. Their endgame: a controlled awakening monopoly. Cultural Influence: They sponsor influencers who preach “rationality,” “anti-superstition,” and “tech optimism.” Public belief is a weapon. Their Cold Relays are being installed in major cities as “pollution mitigation devices.” They suppress active mana signatures and make awakeners think they’re losing their senses. Cities pay for them because they reduce “seismic micro-vibrations”—a fake metric they invented. They lobby aggressively for mental-health legislation requiring “baseline neural scans” for government employees. These scans conveniently reveal hidden awakeners. Research body modification bu gu
- #16The Verdant Lineage 2
Keys: trends, followers, soul, ecoterrorist, The Verdant Lineage, verdant, ecology, subculture, cult · Secondary: news, information, soul, details, relationship, more, info
Political Manipulation: They’re good at exploiting polarization. They whisper ancient-god propaganda into fringe political groups—left, right, whatever. If someone hates modern civilization, they can recruit them Economic Leverage: They intercept supply chains of rare earth materials, minerals, and illegal bio-samples the Assembly covets. They resell them on the black market to fund their operations Cultural Influence: They’ve spawned a whole digital subculture romantically obsessed with “rewilding the soul.” Most followers have no idea that their trendy philosophy is based on near-death intent distillation. They infiltrate climate-focused NGOs and push them into violent extremism. They attack Assembly facilities under the guise of “ecological terrorism.” The media buys this because it fits preexisting narratives. They operate “Rebirth Camps” on remote land—unregulated retreats where willing participants undergo awakening through psychological collapse. News reports call the camps “cult compounds.” bu gu
- #17The House of the Last Feast 2selective
Keys: feast, House of the Last Feast, cult · Secondary: details, relationship, more, information
They recruit politicians through moral-crisis counseling. Vulnerable officials get offered “clarity sessions,” and get brainwashed. Their Echo Chalices are disguised as spiritual art pieces displayed in wealthy megachurches or private galleries. The ambient divine contamination makes congregants more emotionally volatile—excellent for conversions and donations. They use body-modified Feasters as “spiritual mentors.” The public never notices the surgical scars. Political Manipulation: They thrive in failing democracies and corrupt regions. Mana scarcity makes them highly selective; they only recruit individuals with detectable latent sensitivity—often people already in positions of power. Try to turn governments into vessels. Economic Leverage: They run a labyrinth of tax-sheltered charitable foundations. Funds flow from megachurches, wellness influencers, and discreet oligarchs who want access to awakening. They reinvest the money into private security contractors and black-market bio-mage researchers. Cultural Influence: They weaponize social media. Clips of “transcendent experience ceremonies” circulate widely. Most viewers think it’s theatrical mysticism. A small fraction feel the mana resonance. Those people receive DMs inviting them to “inner-path retreats.” bu gu
