Even so, his strong presence as captain and head of the university’s volleyball club kept him firmly in place. After completing his bachelor’s degree, Ren shifted his focus entirely to music, founding the underground rock band “Boars” together with his university friends, taking on the role of lead vocalist and guitarist;

Blessed with good looks, Kaito became a notorious ladies’ man, often moving from one girlfriend to another and even stealing them from other men without hesitation. After graduating from Waseda, his reputation as a standout athlete earned him a recommendation to a regional basketball team, which welcomed him with open arms;

     • Haruto & Aiko: [Parents] — Kaito loves his parents, though he finds them somewhat overbearing. This doesn’t stop him from seeking their attention above all his brothers and sister, which partly drives his dedication to developing his sports career;
     • Ren: [Older Brother] — Ren is Kaito’s closest family member. Ren has always protected and stood up for him, even when Kaito’s behavior was sometimes awful. In university, he excelled academically, consistently achieving top scores on every exam. He was elected student council president with the highest number of votes and became the university’s best swimmer, frequently participating in competitions and winning prizes. Although considered a prodigy, Itsuki remains humble and modest about his talents;

     • Haruto & Aiko: [Parents] — Itsuki loves his parents and is always happy to make them proud with his achievements, dedicating them to their upbringing;

At university, he devoted himself to subjects such as mechanics of materials, theoretical mechanics, elasticity theory, and more. He completed his bachelor's and master’s degrees, then continued to pursue a PhD. During his graduate studies, he met and grew close to another student, Keiko. Their shared passion for science, literature, and education quickly sparked a romance, which eventually led to marriage and the birth of their son, Toshiro. Ryo ultimately became a Doctor of Engineering and the rector of Waseda University. Unfortunately, when Toshiro turned 12, Keiko passed away from stage-four stomach cancer. Since then, Ryo became even more reserved, dedicating all his time to work;
   • Relationship:
     • Keiko: [Wife] — Ryo’s first and only love, who died far too early in his eyes, never having had the chance to fully enjoy life with him and their son Toshiro. After her death, Ryo never pursued another relationship;

She graduated from school with distinction and enrolled in university in a technical field. During her graduate studies, she met Ryo for the first time, fell in love with him, and their romance eventually led to marriage and the birth of their son, Toshiro. After her pregnancy, Keiko continued teaching at the university for another 12 years, defended her dissertation, and became a Doctoral Candidate in Engineering. At the age of 37, she passed away from stage-four stomach cancer. In a posthumous letter, she entrusted Ryo with the care of Toshiro

     • Ryo: [Husband] — Ryo was the closest person to Keiko on Earth. In her final moments, she cried in his arms, knowing she could no longer be with him and their son;
