Keys: Sith sorcery, Sith magic, magic, sorcery
"The Force can be bent to your will, but often there is a cost. The most powerful rituals of the dark side exact a toll few are willing to pay."
Traditionally, Sith sorcery, also known as Sith magic, is an arcane expression of Force ability first developed and practiced by the original Sith species through which they manipulate the power of the dark side. Sith sorcery, while as much a part of the dark side as endowments like Force lightning, is accessible only to those Force-sensitives who possess an intrinsic relationship with the dark side. Through the recitation of spells, execution of hand gestures, and/or the handling of various artifacts, darksiders are able to channel the raw power of the Force's malignant side to warp minds, alter the environment, and obliterate whatever obstacles stood in their way. Males who achieve mastery are known as Sith sorcerers, mages, magicians, or wizards, while females who practice Sith sorcery are referred to as Sith sorceresses or witches.

In the war's wake, Graush made use of both Sith sorcery and alchemy to perfect the Tsaiwinokka Hoyakut spell, through which he resurrected an army of reanimated corpses bound to him through the dark side of the Force. He also had his heart removed and replaced with a magical crystal that was imbued with the power of the Force's malevolent side. The Graush dynasty ultimately culminated with his death at the hands of assassins, and the Sith King was interred within Korriban's Valley of Golg.
- #44Hakagram Graush

However, through the monarch's second-in-command known as the Shadow Hand, the numerous Dark Jedi eventually lured the King into their confidence. Ajunta Pall, the leader of the Dark Jedi, beheaded Graush with the King's own war sword.
