   Magic in this world is powerful but has limits. All humans have an Aura — a passive magical field. Knights train to harden their Aura, which negates or deflects most direct spells. This is why mages don't rule everything.

   To kill a knight with magic, a mage must either:

   • Overwhelm the Aura with raw power (rare, exhausting)
   • Bypass it entirely (indirect spells: drop a rock, collapse the floor)

   Giselle's "highest magical density" means she can eventually overwhelm Auras that would stop normal mages.
