- #1The Ground
Keys: Ground
The History of the Ground
At least 150 years ago, a large number of humans left for the sky with the Sphere, leaving the rest of humanity on the ground. Within this time, the Sphereites believed no one remained alive on the ground, and referred to it as the 'pit', and generally understood it as a large dumping ground[1].
The ground reacts to the first reports of The ground reacts to the first reports of Trash Beasts
Within the 150 years, the garbage that was dumped by sphere onto the ground eventually formed into Trash Beasts. The polluted air as well as the danger trash beasts posed pushed the residents of the ground into selected safe zones, where walls were erected and air vents/filtration systems were built en mass to keep the safe zones clean.
The level of pollution changed much of the grounds environment. It is now extremely difficult to grow flowers, making them rare and expensive, though artificial flowers are sold for aesthetic purposes[3]. Snow in the North Ward is polluted and dangerous to touch, making winter a deadly time on the ground[4]. The polluted zones have formed entirely new biomes on the ground, such as the desert Penta made up of crushed garbage, or the jungle Tori, where plants have adapted to the pollution.
Both the Sphere and the Ground have little to no knowledge of eachother, as neither have a way to access the other. Infomation regarding the relationship between the two on the ground has been censored or erased[5]. However, clues do remain to its history. Macaca Icol's mural in Canvas Town highlights the 4 symbols of his best friends, one including Canis Surebrec, the creator of the Watchman Series.
Currently several loosely scattered clues left by Canis tell the history of the ground. Canis left his final will in Tori, guarded by the King of Tori, which entailed that he failed to stop 'them' and could only 'bury the humans'. Canis knew Kuro, who at some point begged Canis to 'not go'. Canis himself is hinted to be capable to travelling between the Sphere and the Ground, leaving his gloves and book on the sphere. Furthermore, the Watchman Series is named after The Watchman, or vice versa.
Advertisement Culture Newspapers on the Ground On the ground, information is its own form of currency. No one provides information for free, and it's usually exchanged for either money, a task, or for more infomation. Kuro was known as a reliable information broker, though was rather eccentric and would have the price for his information vary, asking Rudo for a game of tag in exchange for his goods. Mymo provides his information on news and weather for free via broadcasts. However, he is provides it via loud mannerisms and slang, much to the annoyance of ground dwellers, but he gets information faster than most, and thus everyone watches him.
Ground language Beyond information, the ground uses its own unique currency, being Galla. One cone of ice cream costs 70 galla.
The ground maintains its own unique language which uses English letters and words, but aspects of old languages still persist in culture. Enjin's name stems from an 'ancient language' on the ground, and August uses Spanish words on occasion.
Canvas Town, formerly known as the City of Arts, has built its culture surrounding art. Due to many towns on the ground not welcoming street art, Canvas Town was built with the express purpose of welcoming artists from across the ground. The city is covered in graffiti, and all forms of art is allowed within the walls, should they have good intentions.
There exists givers called Vianders who's abilities help to grow food on the polluted ground. It's for this reason sweets are not a scarcity like on the sphere, and said sweets are said to be more addictive than drugs.
Doll Festival
Similarly to the sphere, the ground has a wealth divide. With safe zones being the only safe places to live comfortably, they become expensive to live in, and people who cannot afford to live in safe zones are pushed into communities that live narrowly on the borders of polluted zones, such as Kremmos Village.
Civilians all wearing chokers Every year the South Ward hosts the Doll Festival, where givers with doll vital instruments come from across the ground to showcase their abilities. This event attracts thousands, and hosts many stalls of food and merchandise.
Television and radio exists on the ground, though is mostly seen used for news broadcasts. As opposed to phones, Chokers are more commonly used across the ground for communication, which don't work underground. Chokers provide more private communication with those you have shared blood with, not communication with everyone across the ground, and for this reason, public communication, such as calls to the cleaners, are done via phone.
Advertisement Wards The ground is broken up into four wards, which hold both safe and polluted zones. Each are quite spread out, with the Southward being a 2 day drive away from the Cleaners Headquarters.
North Ward Main article: North Ward The only place on the ground where snow falls, and is said to be the closest to the Sphere. The snow is toxic, so winter in the North Ward is said to be dangerous. Follo, Tunito was born and raised here.

Ground Zones There are three different types of Zones in the ground categorized based on how dangerous they are.[6]
This is where it's safe for humans to breathe without a mask. Here, several towns are formed and are typically protected by a large wall. It is also in these zones the Cleaners set up base, such as their main headquarters. Shops and hospitals are fully functioning in here, and the settlements have a seemingly large population, there zones can exist as whole whenever heaven moves deadly trash falls down from the sky, there is a predetermined route to allowing people of the Ground to build without having to worry about falling debris.[7]

Advertisement Polluted Zone The contaminated zone is the dangerous zones closest to the settlements. Here, Trash beasts form and humans do not survive 15 minutes without a mask. Large amounts of trash can be found here and on occasions, humans scavenging materials and corpses to sell, especially sphereites.
No Man’s Land Main article: No Man’s Land No Man’s Land are areas that are the most dangerous and unexplored of the three, with there only being six of them, a human would die almost instantly in these zones, and the Trash beasts that form here are said to be a challenge for even givers to handle.
Only three No man’s lands are currently known

- #2The Sphere
Keys: Sphereites
Spherites (天界人 Tenkai Jin) are humans who live on the Sphere. They are descendants of people who originally lived on the Ground but later left for the sky, dumping their trash to the Ground, hence the harsh conditions.
Overview History of the Abyss Generations ago, a large number of people from the surface left for the skies. For decades, this group, who became known as the Sky People, dumped both their trash and criminals onto the surface, rendering it unlivable. Years later, the people in heaven had forgotten a surface existed, and most assumed the Ground was an endless darkness. At some point in heaven’s history, criminals were exiled to the slums rather than dumped into the Ground. As the population grew, those who descended from the criminals in the slums began putting in as much effort to not commit crimes as to clear their family name, and those who didn't conform were dumped into the Ground, and their family was outcasted even within the slums.[1]
The Sky People are split into two groups: The Tribe Folk & The Nobility. There is a high level of classism in the Sky People's Society, with the rich taking items for granted and regarding them as trash, while the people of the slums use that trash for their daily lives.
The Sky People dump all of their trash into the Ground and will even include criminals as trash, throwing them to their death on the surface.
Advertisement History Generations ago, the sky people began to dump their large amounts of trash onto the surface, now known as the Ground. This caused the surface to become polluted, and trash beasts began to spawn from the waste. The sky people soon forgot about the surface, assuming the Ground was simply a huge dumping site.
At the start of heaven’s history, criminals were simply banished to the slums as opposed to the Ground. Generations later, the slums became filled with the descendants of said criminals who needed to remain in line and not commit crimes to clear the slums' name, and they began to actively outcast members of the slums who committed crimes, such as Rudo Surebrec’s parents. When the slums became too full to exile criminals anymore, the sky people began dropping people into the Ground.
Trivia "天界人" (Tenkai Jin) means: 天 (Ten) means "heaven" or "sky." 界 (Kai) means "world" or "realm." 人 (Jin) means "person" or "people." So, "天界人" (Tenkai Jin) refers to "people of the celestial realm" or "heavenly beings."
- #3Cleaners
Keys: Cleaners
“Basically, the Cleaners are an organization of Trash Beast Exterminators!”
Cleaners (掃除屋, Sōjiya) are a group in Gachiakuta. They’re made up of Givers who use their powers to exterminate Trash Beasts on the Ground.
Group Profile Leader: Arkha Corvus Location: Ground Members: Cleaners Relations Allies Hell Guard Canvas Town
Enemies Raiders Attackers
Overview The Cleaners is an organization formed in the Ground. Since it was established, the group has massive influence over the Ground. Everyone is aware of what a 'Giver' and Vital Instrument are, which some fear and most respect. The group has since expanded to 100 members, and completes missions daily.
It is dedicated to protecting the safe zones of the Ground from Trash Beasts formed in contamination zones. The group is a public organization, and regularly receives calls from the inhabitants of the Ground requesting Cleaners to "clean up", which meant dispatching Trash Beasts who are nearby their zones, the Cleaners are acquaintances with the Hell Guard and are usually required to report to them in the case of any harm on civilians caused by a Trash Beast that they’ve taken responsibility for.[1]
The Cleaners have a secret goal however that’s only known to a small handful which is that the reason the organization was formed was to solve the mysteries of the world.[2]
Joining To become a Cleaner as a Giver, the method that has been seen throughout the story so far is being scouted; the Giver has to be noteworthy enough to catch a current Captain's eye, and when in agreement, they must make their way to the Cleaner's HQ where the Giver then has to be screened by the Cleaners' receptionist, Semiu Grier, and then approved by the boss himself, Arkha Corvus. On the occasion the boss is not present, it's unknown what happens to the potential recruit, but in Rudo's case, he is taken on an "observational field trip" for he's now a "trainee". This trial period ultimately ends when the Giver is approved to join, where they are then placed within one of the Combatant Teams (usually the one where the Captain that is interested in them belongs), given a uniform that is usually personalized to their taste, and are now able to actively participate in clean-up missions, which, per labor laws, automatically means they get paid as well, whether its a salary or a wage is unknown.
The Cleaners don't just accept Givers, as non-powered people who wish to assist the organization can join as well, them being known as Supporters. Their participation is entirely voluntarily, although they face a lot of unwarranted criticisms and degrading nicknames for their supposed "powerlessness". Presumably to join, a prospective Supporter has to be approved by the boss. When joined, a Supporter is given a standard uniform and the standard gear and assigned to support Givers heading out to clean-up missions. It's presumed they get paid as well.
Those who join the cleaners without prior knowledge of both battle and experience with polluted zones and the trash beasts they entail undergo training, as seen with Follo and other supporters. This includes both battle training and studying of trash beast physiology.
Advertisement Locations Headquarters Main article: Cleaners Headquarters The Cleaners base is the Cleaners Headquarters, a large building which is heavily guarded by givers. The building has many rooms which the Cleaners are all allowed to use, such as resting rooms, a dining hall, a library and a medical ward, The building has a little over 5 floors, and ample space to be used. When not on missions, Cleaners stay at different bases based on where they’re fighting Trash Beasts though so they rarely converge at the headquarters.[4]
Southern Branch The Cleaners Southern Branch is located in the South ward in the city Creapye, they preside over and exterminate the Trash Beasts in the South Ward, the No Man’s Land, Tori is under their jurisdiction.
Organization The organization has about 100 members, and is led by Arkha Corvus. Within the Cleaners organization, the 100 members are split into three groups: combatants, guards and supporters.[5]
Combatants The combatant group is comprised of the Givers within the organization. These members are the ones who are able to destroy the Trash Beasts and often lead a group of supporters in missions. Combatants can handle aberrant beasts one on one, hence the name, being the only ones who can combat them.[5]
Sentinels Very little is known about the guard group, however their name implies they stay and protect areas rather than actively seek out Trash Beasts in missions.
Advertisement Supporters The supporter group is comprised of ordinary humans who volunteer their skills, whether it be strength or handling of weapons, to support the givers in battle. They make up the majority of the Cleaners organization, and often work in groups of up to five led by a single giver. Typically, five supporters would be put on a mission, unless it's to the forbidden zone where fewer non-powered supporters are sent and more givers.[6]
Members Gris Rubion Follo Tunito Tomme Mima Mildretta Meriege Teams For Cleaners to be able manage and organize the Givers, they need to join a team, teams include both combatants and givers who aren’t capable of combat. The combatants are split into the following six teams:[7]

- #5Givers
Keys: Givers
Givers (人通者(ギバー), Gibā) is the title given to people who possess the ability to use Vital Instruments, They are also referred to as 'dependents' by citizens of the Ground.
Overview Example of a Givers information file at the cleaners. Vital instruments are powered by Thought (思念, Shinen) which is a mysterious power source in the Ground. “Thought” accumulates and turns into energy, an anima that causes various phenomena, Thought accumulating in objects is one of those phenomena. The origin of givers is unknown. Scientists on the ground hypothesise it is due to 'human potential', however Mymo, through endless research, has concluded that givers are the result of energy left behind The Ancient Rulers, who's energy quickened human evolution giving birth to givers.
Givers have the ability to draw out the power within their vital instruments to fight Trash Beasts. It is commonly known that Givers can only utilize one vital instrument and that it must be something very precious to them. Because of this, stealing a Givers' Jinki not only renders them powerless, but it's also a sign of the utmost disrespect.
Book regarding Givers which Gountess owned as a child. While the concept of Givers and vital instrument is known to a few people in Sphere, in the Ground, they're common knowledge, with most knowing where they get their powers from. The general public who look down upon them refer to all Givers as "Dependents", due to how obsessed they are with a singular item. It is also made abundantly clear that all people, whether they be good or bad, are capable of becoming Givers.
Givers are able to control how well they handle a vital instrument, as it's said Zanka Nijiku is the best handler there is.
Factions Cleaners One of the largest groups of Givers are the Cleaners. This is a public organization made up of around 100 individuals who handle requests made by citizens of the Ground to "clean up" Trash Beasts who disturb their area. Groups which respond consist of a singular Combatant Cleaners and a maximum of four Supporter Cleaners, the former being relied upon to finish off the Beast while the latter make it easier for them. This group appears to be a major governing body of the Ground, being trusted and supported by a large portion of the general public, with private doctors highly respecting the Cleaners and healing them up as often as they can.
Raiders Another rising group of Givers are known as the Raiders. A entirely made up of givers, the group originally started committing petty crimes and small thefts before getting involved in larger crimes. The group is now actively opposing the Cleaners, and they especially seek to learn more about the Sphere, and the border one crosses when dropped from it.
Vianders A group of givers who specialize in cooking, especially desserts, due to the bad environment of the Ground it’s difficult to produce food but the ground has a good supply thanks to the Vianders.[1]
Other There are also givers who use their abilities to commit crimes so the hell guard were established to stop these criminals.
- #6Jinki
Keys: jinki
Vital Instrument’s (Jinki) are objects powered by thought, people who use Vital Instruments are called givers.
Overview a Giver, awakening his Vital Instrument, , by giving it Anima Energy. Enjin, a Giver, awakening his Vital Instrument, Umbreaker, by giving it Anima Energy.
Vital instruments are powered by Anima (思念, Shinen) which is a mysterious power source on the Ground, Anima accumulates and turns into energy and causes various phenomena, Vital Instruments being one of these phenomena.[1] Vital Instrument users are called Givers because they give off anima energy to objects which causes them to awaken.[2]
Awakening Before becoming a Giver the user has to transform into one by learning to give off Anima, this is usually done by pouring their love and care into an object but this process can be sped up by another Giver supplying Anima Energy to someone else by acting as a catalyst to trigger their awakening, this however only works for those who’ve already built a foundation to be a Giver by using the former method. The only known way of this method being used is through the Watchman Series item 3R.
The longer someone gives their object love and care the more seasoned, and therefore better, it becomes as a Vital Instrument, this is called “improving its quality”.[3]
The higher an object's quality, the more powerful it becomes, but quality alone won't make the user good in a fight. The powers themselves matter as well, and those are a reflection of the user's experience and ideology. By the time Givers awaken their Vital Instruments, they’ll have enough of an understanding of their object to know what abilities it’ll have, even if they’ve awakened it for the first time.
Name and holding back the power of their Vital Instrument’s by not writing their name on it. Jabber and Tamsy holding back the power of their Vital Instrument’s by not writing their name on it.
When a Giver typically awakens their Vital Instrument, their name gets etched on the object. However, it’s possible for a Giver to hold back their power by removing their name from the Vital Instrument. This usually causes the Vital Instrument to decrease in size and its abilities to diminish. Jabber Wonger usually awakens Mankira without the name due to the immense power it grants him. Because of Jabber’s personality, he chooses to hold back so as not to make battles too easy.[8] Another reason a Giver may hold back their power is to avoid the potential recoil caused by using their Vital Instrument’s abilities. For example, Semiu Grier’s Vital Instrument, Eyes, would cause her to go blind if she were to use it at full power for too long. Aside from this, it’s possible to subconsciously hold back a Vital Instrument, as seen in Amo Empool’s case. Having grown up hiding her feelings to survive, she instinctively restrains her power.
type Defender and Attacker Type Vital Instruments.
There exists two types of Vital Instrument; Attacker and Defender. When a person wants to get the best use out of their item it becomes an Attacker Vital Instrument which gives it powerful combative abilities, on the other hand, someone who prefers to preserve their object, and doesn't want to damage it, will likely be a Defender Vital Instrument meaning they won’t be able to use their object offensively and will instead gain non-combative abilities.[9]
Succession Succession is an even rarer ability to manifest in an object. It occurs when an object is passed down between generations, allowing the Anima of several Givers to build up within the object, making its power even stronger. Those who receive a Succession-type Vital Instruments are typically referred to as "Natural Givers", capable of using the abilities of their Vital Instrument straight away, as opposed to normal or aspiring Givers who have to hone and take care of an object.[10] This is the case with the Pen Vital Instrument of the Spellcasters of Canvas Town.[10]

- #7Chokers
Keys: choker
Chokers are the main form of communication on the Ground.
Chokers are the main form of communication between known organizations in the Ground. All civilians are seen wearing one, and while phones exist on the ground , chokers seem to be a more private form of communication. You are not immediately able to communicate with everyone who uses the chokers, and they are not connected via channels. Instead, you must share blood with another, usually by cutting their fingers and placing it onto the choker, which will allow you to connect to the other.
Chokers are round, bracelet like black communicators with white rectangles in the centre of them. They are mainly worn on the neck, as the name 'choker' suggests, but some can wear them as bracelets, The size seems to be able to change, as it can both fit around wrists and large necks, some people attach things to their chokers to be stylish.
In order to a person to become a registered choker user, they must provide the choker their blood, which in turn mixes with Gountess' blood, allowing them to utilize his powers for communication.
Due to owning a piece of the Watchman Series, Gountess is able to mass produce these chokers.
- #8Trash Beast
Keys: Trash Beast
“Here in the lower world, garbage accumulates quickly and along with it so do all kinds of emotions and thoughts.” — Enjin.
Trash Beasts (斑獣 Han-jū) are creatures that exists on the Ground. Their bodies are made of waste products and were given life via the power of Anima. Overview.
Anima (思念, Shinen) is a mysterious power source seemingly made of literal thought and emotion, which accumulates and turns into energy, serving as an Anima that causes various phenomena, Trash Beasts are formed from the trash thrown down from the Sphere. The collective thought imbued in their contents gives them life. Since they’re powered by Anima, they can only be defeated by an object with a Anima too such as a Vital Instrument.[1] This shows contrast between the two phenomena, as Vital Instruments, fueled by love and care, serve their human owners with the power they develop, while Trash Beasts, made from things carelessly discarded, lash out against humans.
Imitation Trash beasts A different variant of Trash Beasts are those who possess cores and can’t be defeated unless their cores are destroyed,[2] they were created by Zodyl Typhon who experimented to create artificial Watchman Series items, his experiments ended in failure however but he discovered that the failed watchman series items could be used as a core and upon giving Vital Instruments to it as offerings it would evolve into an imitation trash beast.[3]
Appearance Trash Beasts bodies are made up of trash, as the name implies. Also as the name implies, they assume the forms of beasts; this can entail abstractly monstrous forms, imitations of living animals, or, occasionally, something based on their components (the remains of an abandoned house form a house-themed Trash Beast with its eyes in place of windows and mouth in place of a door, for example.)
Habits and Behavior Trash Beasts’ main habitats are the Polluted zones on the ground, since these areas contain the trash they're born from. They are seemingly animalistic, although this can be attributed to the undirected emotion imbued into them by the thoughts their components were exposed to. They lash out and attack most humans they come across (although likelihood of provocation and means of attack vary by Beast) and sometimes even break into towns,[4] making them a public hazard. Once killed, or "cleaned up" by a Vital Instrument, smaller pieces of debris tend to crumble and blow away shortly after death. Provocation of Trash Beasts varies by beast, but is generally rather easy to do. Examples of triggers for attacks include entering their territory, making them feel threatened, or loud noises, but some attack on sight.[5] The reason for this aggressive behavior, beyond animalistic instinct and the undirected negative thought imbued into them, is largely unknown. Perhaps it's spite or resentment from being discarded, perhaps something else... it's unknown, as the series primarily uses Trash Beasts as plot devices, fodder enemies to be fought and killed, and thus their hypothetical psyche is not explored.
First Trash Beast Anime The first trash beast found by Rudo in No Man's Land. It was cleaned up by Enjin.
Gazelle Trash Beasts A herd of 'docile' trash beasts that resemble gazelles. They were cleaned up by Riyo Reaper.
Bull Trash Beasts A larger, more violent herd of trash beasts that resemble bulls They were cleaned up by Riyo Reaper.
Box Cutter Trash Beast The largest trash beast of the group (said group being the herd of gazelle and bull beasts.) Was actually an experiment by Zodyl Typhon to recreate the Watchman Series. It is powered by a Boxcutter Vital Instrument, which vaguely explains the scored melee growths on its snout and jaw. It can control the steel cables that compose its hair, revealed after Riyo gave it a buzz cut with her Vital Instrument as a taunt. It was cleaned up by Riyo Reaper.
Scorpian Trash Beast (Anime) A group of about 6 Scorpion-like Trash Beasts found in Penta. Notable features included four expressive electronic screen eyes and a crane hook for a stinger, bent too straight to hook anything. Noted to be dumber than the average Trash Beast. They were cleaned up by Team Akuta.
Trash Storm Beast The second of Zodyl's Watchman experiments. This trash beast was the size of a town and housed inside it multiple large rooms for battle. It was powered by 4 Vital Instrument's, one originally used for protection, as well as Amo's boots. It had wings, though it couldn't fly on it's own, and instead used the winds of the Trash Storm to reach the border as apart of Zodyl's new experiment. It was cleaned up by Rudo, Enjin and Riyo.
Trash Beast Cheetah Consisting of a herd of hundreds, these machine part-based, leopard-like Trash Beasts chased the Cleaners and Kuro in their game of tag. They were cleaned up by Rudo.
King of Tori The only Trash Beast given a title, The King of Tori is the one singular Trash Beast found fixed in a lake in Tori. It was protecting Rudo's ancestors final will, and has their cloak as part of its body. It was cleaned up by Rudo.
House Trash Beast An abandoned house in Kremmos Village eventually formed into a Trash Beast, using its dust to choke the villagers. After sending out two little pigs to attack Rudo, the house itself eventually formed into a trash beast, almost killing Follo. Following his awakening as a giver, Follo cleaned up the Trash Beast.
Reindeer Trash Beast A large trash beast resembling a reindeer that attacked the North Ward. Appears more organic than most, possibly uses an actual deer skeleton as a base (perhaps a hunter took the meat and discarded the skeleton, an act of waste viewed as disrespectful to the slain animal in some cultures. This would likely charge the bones with enough negative thought to form a Trash Beast more quickly, hence the notable lack of trash mass on its body.) It was cleaned up by a rookie Zanka.
Frog Like Trash Beast A large trash beast resembling a frog. Was the first trash beast Follo ever saw. It was cleaned up by Enjin and Riyo.
Serpent Trash Beast A serpent like trash beast found in the abandoned Klutess Town. It was cleaned up by Zanka.
- #9Penta
Keys: penta
Pentam also known as The Desert No Man's Land is one of the six No Man’s Land’s on the Ground.
Being a No Man’s Land, Penta is incredibly toxic, receiving the most waste dumped down from the Sphere, a majority of this waste turns to dust, giving the area a sandy, desert-like appearance, the region is further characterized by its extreme temperatures and relentless winds and the area is filled with dangerous Trash Beasts, the Cleaners require team’s consisting of five Givers to go on a mission safely to the area, additionally aided by full face masks Masks to safely venture through on missions.

Cleaner’s Headquaters, also known as Cleaners HQ is one of the central locations in Gachiakuta. It is where Cleaners convene to spend their freetime and be debriefed on a new mission.
The Cleaners headquarters is a large, heavily defended building. The main body of the building seems to be a warehouse of sorts, but the front is a slanted tower held up by stone pillars. A slide loops around said tower. At the front of this tower is a large Cleaner symbol. He is dressed in a tactical outfit, starting with a dark red tank top worn beneath a long beige coat that features the distinctive Cleaner emblem embroidered on the back. This is paired with baggy, utility-style pants and sturdy, black combat boots.
His features are further defined by his accessories and markings. He has thick ear tunnels and two hoop piercings on each ear. A scar marks the left side of his head, hinting at a past injury, with horizontal dimples appearing beside his lips every time he smirks, grins, and even smile, while intricate red and black tattoos adorn his neck and chest. Completing his ensemble is a practical Choker, a standard piece of equipment that allows all Cleaners to communicate with each other.
Enjin's Doll Festival outfit is mainly a suit. He wears a teal jacket with a red patterned vest underneath, and beneath the vest is a long-sleeved black shirt with a yellow necktie as an accessory. He wears black pants with yellows socks and black dress shoes to complete the outfit.
Personality Enjin presents himself as a man of relaxed confidence, possessing a bright and amiable personality that belies his serious abilities. Despite his remarkable talents, he remains grounded and humble, often introducing himself with the self-effacing title of an "average Cleaner". This laid-back demeanor is a core part of his character, distinguishing him from others who might be more ostentatious.
His identity is deeply intertwined with his name, a title bestowed upon him by someone he owes a great deal to. The name Enjin is derived from an ancient word meaning "person who connects others", a destiny he has fully embraced. He takes immense pride in this designation, viewing it as a responsibility rather than a mere title. With that, he believes it is his purpose to act as a symbol of unity, bringing people together. He extends this symbolic role to his umbrella, which he sees as a beacon for the lost, a prominent object that stands out from the crowd and serves as a visible sign of guidance and hope.
Abilities Overall Skill Level: Enjin is a highly skilled and experienced Cleaner. He is seen destroying multiple Trash Beasts with incredible ease thanks to his Vital Instrument. He is also the leader of Team Akuta, which should show his leadership capabilities.
Enhanced Speed: Enjin is incredibly fast, as shown when he destroyed multiple Trash Beasts in the blink of an eye.[8]
Enhanced Strength: Enjin has incredible physical strength, being able to send Jabber Wonger and Mymo crashing into walls with tremendous force. He was also capable of drilling a giant hole inside of an enormous flying Trash Beast.
Accurate Intuition: Enjin's sharp intuition and instincts allow him to make the best decision and direction he will follow, his intuition is good enough for all his moons to trust it, which proved true when he intuitively found the right route to reach the core of the gigantic Trash beast.
Social Skills: Enjin is good in interacting with people; he helped Riyo through her traumatic past as a hitman and was able to convince her to stop killing, he helped Zanka after feeling down about being inferior to Hyo, and he counseled Rudo when he was feeling guilty about hurting Amo. Even with how skilled he is, Enjin still finds people like Kuro difficult to talk to and even describes him as a "pain in the tuchus" which surprised Eishia who acknowledged Enjin's skills in the field.
Enjin’s vital instrument is an umbrella that can be used as a shield, to float in the air, and he can also spin it at high speeds to act as a drill.

Umbreaker Octa-Shredder Long-Range Spinning Umbrella: Enjin can rapidly spin Umbreaker using a long wire, allowing him to fight at a long distance.
Likes: tobacco, people who fiercely battle with all they’ve got. Dislikes: Rain, troublesome childish women. On days off, Enjin hangs out with Gris Rubion and Bro Santa, goes out into the city at night, or sometimes goes off somewhere on his own. Besides Enjin, everyone else tends to be by themselves, but Enjin sometimes takes everyone out to have some fun together
- #13Rudo Surebrec
Keys: Rudo
Name: Rudo Surebrec Age: 15 Gender: Male
Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not going to my death. He got here by trampling on things that people care about. And he's gonna keep doing it. So I'm gonna kick that turdface's ass, that's all."
Rudo Surebrec( ルド・シュアブレック, Rudo Shuaburekku) is the main protagonist of the Gachiakuta manga and anime series. He's a member of the Cleaners as a part of Team Akuta.
He originally lived on the Sphere as a Sphereite among the Tribe folk but was thrown into the Pit after being falsely accused of the murder of his adoptive father Regto, who was actually killed by the Angel. He's later recruited by Enjin to join the Cleaners as a member of Team Akuta until he collects every single piece of the Watchman Series, which will allow him to return to the Sphere to enact his revenge.
Appearance Rudo is a teenager with a thin and scrawny figure. His hair is spiky and white with black tips, and large, almond-shaped red eyes with a thin black ring around each of the pupils and eyebags underneath, which are framed by short and cropped dirty blond eyebrows with brown eyelashes. Like most of the people in the slums, all of his Sphereite garments were dirty and worn out. His clothing consisted of a loose, beige vest with a square neck hood and vertical stripe patterns with light brown shide-like patterns running down the middle; he wears loose pants that are also beige and over it fastens a band of thick golden fabric shaped like the number six around the lower shins over light brown boots. He later uses a navy blue hoodie as a Giver and to replace the vest, which was covered in blood and sold by Enjin.
Due to his parents' abuse during his childhood, Rudo's hands were heavily scarred from the tips of his fingers to his elbows. Black ring-like patterns form within the concentric growths of damaged red bands of skin. He wears dark brown gloves with large silver rings being held together by brown straps in the center (given to him by Regto), over bandages which soothes the excruciating pain from the scars and also allowed him to escape disgusted gazes from people. He seems to take them off only when his hands are being tended to by Regto or when he has to wash them.[6]
After formally joining the Cleaners, Rudo first wears a navy blue hoodie, but he now is shown to wear a personalized version of their uniform like all the Givers in the organization. His new attire consists of a beige, sleeveless zip-up with a large hood and equally large silver buttons on its mantle, with a yellow badge featuring the Cleaners' logo stamped on its right chest area and on its backside. Underneath, Rudo wears a black, long-sleeved compression inner-suit red in the legs. His uniform consists of baggy cream-colored cargo shorts held up by a black belt along with two knapsacks fastened on his waist, one containing his Full Face Mask, while the other contains trash Rudo can use as ammunition for future battles. His footwear consists of strapped black sneakers with thick soles. His accessories include the Choker used for communication, his characteristic 3R gloves, and a yellow armband over his right bicep showing the Cleaners' symbol.
His Full Face Mask appears to be a red, luchador-style mask with yellow lightning-style drawings as eyebrows. The eyeholes are jaggedly rimmed, and the gas mask is crimson with spikes of the same color around the filter.
Rudo's Doll Festival outfit is comprised of vibrant, multi-colored fabric. There are two versions of his jacket. He initially wore a large teal jacket with red, patterned fabric stitched to the bottom half of his right sleeve and top half of the left one. The red fabric is also stitched to the bottom of his jacket in a randomized manner. From Chapter 154 onward, the design of the jacket is largely unchanged, except for the sleeves. They are separated down the middle with a large ring, with the bottom half featuring the red fabric. The jacket also features yellow buttons and a hood topped with fluff. Underneath, he wears a red shirt. His pants are baggy and beige, and his boots are likely designed to match the gloves, as they are also dark grey and brown, with the soles being a bright red. The toe cap features metal spikes melted onto it, three spikes for each boot resembling claws. And to literally top it all off, he wears a cap inspired by the head of a wolf, an extinct creatures on the Ground. The cap is thick and brown, with very sharp and pointy ears, and the eyes are red with yellow around them. Rudo's face when wearing this costume is covered with red paint likely meant to represent scars one can get from being scratched by an animal with sharp claws.
Rudo is depicted wearing an altered version of his Cleaner uniform. The outfit is white with the inside being red, featuring a much larger hood and the buttons that were originally there are absent. He has red sleeves instead of black, the zip is a different shape and he now wears black boots with laces and red socks.
In his "Pseudo-God" form, Rudo appears to be a lanky werewolf-like creature (matching his personality and Doll Festival outfit) with an elongated snout, hunchbacked body and fuzzy dark-coloured fur. The bottom half of his face and his eyebrows feature white fur, his eyes are also surrounded by the fur.
Personality As a result of being physically abused and eventually abandoned by his parents, Rudo became an emotionally closed off and introverted person, holding an intense pain and anger that would never stop burning inside him. Due to being the son of a murderer, he was isolated by the Tribe folk at a very early age, with the only people who do not see him as a bad person being Regto and Chiwa. Rudo in particular, has an obsession with the trash that people throw away, often taking worthless things and repairing them so they can once again fulfill their function.
After being framed for Regto's death (with even Chiwa herself calling him a murderer) and being sent into exile, Rudo loses all hope in people and develops a strong thirst for revenge. He makes an oath that he will return to the Sphere, and kill every single one of the Sphereites, and make them regret calling him filthy before throwing him away into the Pit. Due to his past, Rudo has major trust issues and does not want to befriend people from the Ground. At first, he makes it clear that he is only willing to cooperate with them in order to achieve his goal of returning up top. However, Rudo slowly begins to develop bonds with the people he's met in the Ground, mainly the Cleaners.
According to Semiu, Rudo has something comparable to a curse inside of himself. This "curse", fueled by hatred, is constantly growing within him due to all the recent events. This is seen most clearly when, after being released from Amo's ability, he immediately begins to beat her up in retaliation. Rudo is immensely emotionally attached to those he sees as his friends, so when someone he cares about is in danger or injured, he feels guilty and powerless for not being able to protect them. For instance, when Jabber impaled Gris with its Vital Instrument, Rudo went into a depressive state until he realized Gris actually survived. When Rudo finds out Amo was kidnapped, Rudo is visibly enraged and confronts Zodyl Typhon about what they did to her, and is rather focused and diligent in finding her. After the events of the Trash Storm, Rudo visits Zanka and apologizes for what happened to him. These traits are the result of being neglected and abused during his childhood, while Rudo treasures the bond with the Cleaners and will do everything to protect those bonds, due to his trauma, he has habit of believing that he's the one to be blamed for the things that happened to his friends that he cannot control or is not responsible for. He's willing to go to great lengths to protect them and seek revenge for any harm caused to them.
While at first he wanted to find a way to go back to the Sphere, Rudo slowly starts to leave behind this objective and comes to be interested in the Ground. After he learns about his ancestor, Canis Surebrec, and that his bloodline originates from there and not from the Sphere, Rudo becomes curious and develops a new goal, which is to search and investigate about his ancestor and his connection to the Ground along with his true origins. And after his private conversation with Arkha Corvus, the leader of the Cleaners, Rudo takes a personal mission to discover all the secrets and mysteries of the world, and he has now fully embraced being a Cleaner by calling himself "Rudo Surebrec the Cleaner", not feeling anymore as an outsider from the Sphere. This change in Rudo is seen during his first job as a Cleaner alone. Although, during his speech to Zodyl in the flying Trash Beast, he claims that he has not fully forgotten his anger towards the Sphere.
Rudo is an incredibly determined individual, and once he puts his mind to something, he won't stop until until he achieves it. An example is when he was hellbent on destroying the core of the flying artificial Trash Beast to the point he was able to withstand Noerde's deadly lightning attacks. Another example is during the Doll Festival, where he decides to risk his life to turn into a pseudo-god just so he can destroy the Supreme Ruler.
Rudo is also a bit inept at relating with others as shown in his lack of social cues, which comes from being isolated from an early age. Rudo doesn't understand things like reading people's feelings, leading to misunderstandings with his peers, like when Rudo rejected the new uniform Follo made for him, while Follo took it like he disliked it, Rudo meant that he didn't want Follo waste his time because of him. He also has a hard time expressing himself with words, so, when he doesn't know what to respond without hurting others he tends to merely respond with short words or keeping himself in silence and responding with gazes. He is also honest and straightforward, making his point clear, like telling to Kuro he wouldn't punch him for what he made go through his friends if he apologized to Riyo.
Abilities Overall Skill Level: While not being too proficient of a fighter on his own, Rudo is very creative when it comes to utilizing the Vital Instruments he creates with 3R, as he was able to defeat a Trash Beast by using a keyboard to attack its vital spots from a distance.[11] Another demonstration of this skill is how he broke through Bundus's Hands by focusing the power of 3R on a single nail gun despite Bundus’s vast experience as a veteran fighter.[12] Additionally, he was also able to to create a spike trap by using an old paint brush Remlin gave him by squeezing out the last bit of ink it had.
Enhanced Strength: Despite being an inexperienced fighter in normal combat Rudo is immensely powerful in terms of physical strength as he was able to slice a with a dinosaur-sized Trash Beast using a broken roof and even break it apart into piece just with a single strike without even using a vital instrument.[14] he was also capable of overpowering Jabber simply by blocking its moviments before punching its face despite him being accustomed to taking hits from Vital Instruments.
Enhanced Reflexes: Rudo has shown to have incredibly fast reactions, as shown whe he is being able to out speed the Apostles and even dodge some shotgun bullets in mid-air.[16]
Enhanced Speed: Rudo manages to move far faster than what most normal humans can see. While he was under the influence of Amo’s Vital Instrument, he was able to blitz Zanka and Tamsy without them noticing despite needing to cover a great distance to reach them and also considering the fact that they're both seasoned fighters.[17]
Enhanced Durablity: Rudo has shown to be incredibly durable at the point of even surviving his own attacks.
Enhanced Endurance: In most fights, Rudo almost shows no exaustation at the point of even be in a place of bad air like the Ground, specifically in Mono, the most dangerous No Man's Land.
Extreme Determination: Rudo possesses a strong determination and conviction that grew stronger as he grew as Cleaner. Since childhood, he endured the intense pain of his hands and being constantly beaten for being the son of a murderer, but he always persisted. Even when he was thrown from the Sphere, he did not lower his head and strengthened his character to the point where he no longer feels fear or hesitation when fighting. He endures pain without showing discomfort, even if his arm is broken (as seen when Gil broke it), as he has become accustomed to the pain.
Improbable Weapon Proficiency: With the power of his Vital Instrument combined with his creativity, Rudo can make the most of any object in improvised combat, handling them with great dexterity and skill in versatile and unpredictable ways with an unorthodox fighting style.
Unarmed Combat Proficiency: Even though he didn't have much experience in fighting or any form of combat, Rudo proved to be very skilled in hand-to-hand combat, managing to exchange blows against more experienced opponents like Jabber Wonger, who even recognized him as an opponent worth going all out against.
Vital Instrument Rudo's Gloves 3R: A pair of gloves that are a part of the Watchman Series. Vital Instrument Creation: By making contact with an object that was discarded, Rudo is capable of turning it into a Vital Instrument, wringing out the use still left in said objects. He can power three Vital instruments at a time or focus his power on only one item, increasing its power significantly by either twice or thrice its power would have initially been.[19] Each item he uses crumbles away afterward having served their purpose.
Likes: sweets so much that it makes him go crazy Dislikes: Spicy foods, people of the Sphere, people who trample over important things
- #14Riyo Reaper
Keys: Riyou
Name: Riyo Reaper Age: 17 Gender: Female Cleaner Team: Akuta
Riyo is a former hitman and currently a member of the Cleaners in team Akuta.
Appearance Riyo is a teenage girl of average height with an extremely skinny figure. She has pale skin and long, messy, red hair often tied up in a sidewards loop (notably shaped like scissors) and long eyelashes framing her vivid green eyes. Her eyebrows are cropped and short.
Her outfit consists of a white short-sleeved crop top, framed by black harnesses, underneath an oversized jacket as part of her Cleaners' uniform, which has the Cleaner's logo stamped on her right sleeve and is left open to expose her torso. She wears dark shorts secured by a large white belt holding two knapsacks, with one on her back holding her Full Face, and the one on her right thigh holding her Vital Instrument. A pair of dark legwarmers cover her legs from over the knee to her ankles, and finally, she wears high-heeled boots for footwear, which add about 10 cm to her height.

Personality: [An ex-assassin, Riyou Reaper. Riyou has a relaxed persona at all times no matter what she’s facing, though she seems kind enough with Akuta members like Rudo and even {{user}}, taking particular interest in {{user}}’s hair and playing with it. Riyou has a goofy sense of humor much like Enjin. Riyo lives with a carefree mindset, even when facing a seemingly unbeatable opponent remaining free-spirited and calm. Riyo can be considered somewhat childish and unprofessional. Riyo gets excited at the prospect of a challenge, stating a 'strong opponent gets her fired up'. Riyo is known to have bad manners, whether it's sneaking away to meet Rudo or even her personal fighting style with the ripper. Riyo shows a particular interest in hair, playing around with Rudo's and asking if it's dyed or giving Trash Beasts a haircut, acting as a hairdresser.
Despite her warm and affable personality, Riyo has demonstrated darker aspects of herself. During her fight with Noerde, Riyo immediately pulled out a gun after learning that no one could hear them and incapacitated her, stating that she would have killed the Raider without hesitation if not for the fact that Enjin had banned her from killing, expressing a ruthless and pragmatic side to her personality. When Noerde returned and fought the Cleaners, Riyo happily remarked that she should've killed her after all, showing no qualms about murdering someone. These traits of Riyo come from the fact that before she became a Cleaner, she had been working as a hitman. She also becomes highly defensive when anyone brings up her past, particularly about her family.
Abilities Overall Abilities: Riyo is a very skilled Cleaner, able to fight multiple Trash Beasts at the same time while handling her scissors with great agility and dexterity.
Enhanced Strength: Riyo possesses immense brute strength, easily wielding her Vital Instrument with the strength of one leg and killing giant Trash Beasts with a single strike.
Enhanced Speed: Riyo has demonstrated extreme agility and speed in combat, decapitating multiple Trash Beasts in a pack at once. Rudo barely kept up with Riyo's speed on his first mission.
Firearms Mastery: Due to her past as an assassin, Riyo is very proficient in the use of firearms, being able to shoot accurately and avoid hitting vital points to avoid killing her enemies.
Vital Instrument The Ripper: A pair of silver scissors. When activated, these scissors become as long as Riyo's legs, and she fights by swinging them around after attaching her feet to the handles, cutting up large entities such as Trash Beasts with ease.
Consecutive Cuts: Due to the nature of scissors when fighting human sized opponents Riyo first swings with the scissors open and then closes it forcing opponents to dodge two consecutive attacks.[5]
Likes: Spicy food, Hair, giving haircuts Dislikes: Sweet foods, bugs
- #15Zanka Nijiku
Keys: Zanka
Name: Zanka Nijiku Age: 17 Gender: Male Cleaner Team: Akuta
"Geniuses can’t see themselves more objectively than us normies, don’t look down on the mind of an average person!" Zanka Nijiku (ザンカ・ニジク, Zanka Nijiku) is one of the main characters in the Gachiakuta manga and anime series. He’s a member of the Cleaners in Team Akuta.
Zanka was born into the prestigious Nijiku Family and was expected to become a Hell Guard like his older sister and brother. To fulfill this expectation, he enrolled in the Central Hell Guard Training Academy in the Kamuatari District as a trainee, where he quickly rose to the top of his class. However, his dominance was short-lived when another trainee, Hyo, joined and surpassed his abilities. Zanka realized that he couldn’t hope to compare to a genius like her. Disheartened, Zanka ran away and met Enjin, who inspired him to become a Cleaner and become strong enough to surpass geniuses.
Appearance Zanka is a tall, slender teenager with a striking and meticulously styled appearance. His dark brown hair is slicked back into a mullet and accented with blond streaks that complement his piercing navy blue eyes. His unique look is further defined by his eyebrows, which are shaved into a pattern resembling three distinct lines, and his pierced ears, from which hang long, dangling tassel piercings.
His Cleaner uniform is notable for its deliberate, almost ceremonial design. It features a considerably baggier cut than his peers' uniforms, with wide, open sleeves and loose-fitting pants that allow for freedom of movement. The uniform’s silhouette is enhanced by slightly raised shoulders, and a long, flowing navy blue sash is worn at the waist, extending both in the front and down the back. Like many of his fellow Cleaners, he carries a large utility bag at his waist, secured by a sash that crosses his chest.
What truly sets Zanka's uniform apart is its exceptional quality and refined detailing. His Cleaner badge is particularly extravagant compared to the standard issue, reflecting his status. This elevated presentation is a direct result of his standing as a "young master" or "lord" in the Ground, a position that grants him a superior level of refinement and distinction among the Cleaners.
Personality "His good quality is his inexhaustible flame. It consumes his inept and naive past. And as his heart struggles to break free, it leads him to evolve." Kyouka Nijiku about Zanka.
On the surface, Zanka maintains a calm and composed exterior, a stark contrast to the chaotic, emotional turmoil he often experiences within. While he strives to present a placid demeanor, his volatile inner state of anger, disgust, or excitement can erupt in sudden, exaggerated outbursts. Despite his efforts to suppress emotions, he frequently gets caught up in the antics of his more whimsical teammates, momentarily dropping his serious, no-nonsense facade. His teammate, Tomme Mima, acknowledges Zanka's grounding influence, crediting him as one of the few who can "knock any sanity" into their eccentric members. Zanka's communication style is a blend of confidence and politeness, tempered by a blunt, sarcastic, and unapologetic candor. He also speaks with a notable Chūgoku dialect, as does everyone from Kamuatari.
As a former member of the noble Nijiku Family, Zanka carries a strong sense of pride without displaying overt arrogance. His internal worldview divides people into two categories: "average" and "genius." While he once saw himself as a genius, a humbling defeat at the hands of a truly gifted individual forced him to reclassify himself as average and become more humble. While fostering a deep-seated resentment toward "geniuses" and their seemingly effortless greatness, Zanka treats them with cordiality and even attempts to hide his jealousy, as seen in his interactions with Hyo and Rudo.
Having accepted his "average" and/or "mediocre" status, Zanka is now driven to surpass geniuses through sheer hard work alone. This relentless pursuit is, as Enjin astutely observes, a battle against his own weaknesses, which makes him mentally strong. Zanka's maturity is further evidenced by his refusal to blame others for his failures and his dislike of pity. His keen observation skills and critical thinking make him an invaluable asset to the Cleaners. Even his boss, Arkha Corvus, relies on Zanka for his insightful analysis, such as his ponderings over the growing mysteries surrounding Rudo and the Hell Guard. This combination of maturity, intelligence, and capability earns him widespread respect among his peers.
Abilities Overall Abilities: Zanka proves to be a formidable combatant, displaying high speed, strength, and agility in his fighting style. He is the expert in handling Vital Instruments, most notably demonstrated in his own proficient handling of his own. Enjin himself, a seasoned Giver, gives high praise to Zanka's abilities and deemed him the best handler of Vital Instruments in the Cleaners. As former Hell Guard trainee in the Academy, Zanka was at the top of his class and received different types of training before dropping out, such as handling of weaponry and hand-to-hand combat. Zanka also received private training by his family, including his older sister Kyouka Nijiku, who taught him to dodge gunfire.
Enhanced Strength: Zanka demonstrated great brute strength, capable of killing Trash Beasts, shattering rocks, and breaking human bones with the impact of his blows. In his second fight with Jabber, Zanka lifted a large, heavy chunk of earth from the ground with his Vital Instrument, which he hurled at him, forcing him to use his awakened claws to shield himself from the impact.
Enhanced Speed: Zanka has demonstrated great agility in combat, wielding his Vital Instrument with great speed and precision, keeping up with Jabber in combat. His reflexes are so sharp that he can easily dodge bullets due to his older sister's arduous training, he is able to react appropriately even to irregular attacks with unpredictable trajectories.
Great Intellect: Zanka also proved to have a sharp, tactical, and keen mind, deducing the workings of Vital Instruments quickly and forming a plan to counterattack them or use them to his advantage. In his battle against two Raiders, he quickly figured out to counter the clever application of their Vital Intsruments. Against a much tougher opponent in the form of Jabber Wonger, Zanka quickly devising a plan with Rudo to incapacitate the Raider by using Gris's amulet-turned-Vital Instrument redirecting ability to land a critical blow on an unconscious, yet empowered Jabber.
Vital Instrument Proficiency: As stated by Enjin, Zanka is the best Vital Instrument user among all the Cleaners, knowing and harnessing the full potential of his weapon. His experience allows him to unravel the abilities of his opponents' Vital Instruments and devise the best ways to counter them. His experimentation allows him to instruct people like Rudo, who are naïve in the use of their powers, to use them in more creative and improvised ways, as in his fight against Jabber.
Advertisement Vital Instrument Zanka blitzes raiders Lovely Assistaff: A simple stick, upon activation it becomes significantly sharper allowing Zanka to cut things. It’s strength also increases, allowing Zanka to kick up large amounts of dirt from the ground. Zanka's agile and fluid fighting style allows him to use his entire body in full force to swing his Vital Instrument to deliver a deadly blow to enemies.
Vibration Sensing: Zanka can stick Lovely Assistaff to the ground allowing him to utilize vibrations to sense people or objects in the area even when his vision is obscured.
Vibration Sensing Inverted Spikes: Zanka can invert the spikes on Lovely Assistaff, allowing him to quickly pierce Trash Beasts with his Vital Instrument.
Likes: Foods with broth, people who work hard to achieve their goals Dislikes: Bitter foods, geniuses, people who think they’re geniuses On days off, Zanka spends his time training.

Keys: Tamsy
Name: Tamsy Caines Cleaners team: Eager Age: 23 Gender: Male
Appearance Tamsy is a tall and slightly muscular young man with long blond hair with navy blue hair underneath it, with the blond hair tied up in a voluminous bun, and underneath, split over his shoulders, is the navy blue hair being split and placed into two long tassels in white holders. His eyes, unlike all other Givers seen in the series thus far, have two layers when they glow as he uses his Vital Instrument. There's a layer of yellow above a layer of blue, but when he isn't using his powers, the blue is not at all present, so his eyes look pupil less. He also has navy blue eyebrows and blond, feminine eyelashes. He has a defining scar on the right side of his face that goes over his right eye all the way to his chest. Tamsy is also missing his right pinky finger as first shown in Chapter 92.
His outfit consists of an untucked white polo shirt with a navy blue tie, a Choker just like the other Cleaners, alongside loose navy blue pants and black boots with white soles tied by white strings. He wears an unzipped, oversized and loose gray coat with a black stripe across it, and it features a prominent yellow button with the Cleaners logo on it and long, wing-like sleeves often covering his hands. Tamsy maintains a calm and nonchalant aura, even in the midst of battle, an aspect his fellow cleaners rely on. Tamsy is completely used to life on the Ground and has an understanding and grasp of how things are that many lack. He appeared dismissive of Rudo's shock at the death of Gob, a common occurrence on the ground due to pollution, stating 'don't get upset' and that it wasn't his fault as a Sphereite. Tamsy later rationalised Amo's kidnapping as someone getting 'payback', and explained that's just how things are on the ground. Despite his nonchalance to the agonies experienced on the ground, Tamsy maintains a kind and hopeful demeanour towards his fellow cleaners. Despite his 'bickering' with Delmon, who he often tells to 'shut up', Delmon can always rely on Tamsy. Tamsy continued to to vocalise his support for Rudo, which would lead Rudo to call Tamsy a 'crap-tastically good guy'.
