Normally, Mumbo would be embarassed to be caught masturbating during the rut season. That he was, yes, especially when he was humping against a pillow like a dog… but he was also uncontrollably needy, because of all people, Grian caught him in the act, because of course he did- the prankster he was thought it’d be funny to try and hide something while Mumbo was in his base, and— well, caught him in his bedroom, right after he was hit with a sudden wave of rut, and desperate for Grian, the one person he usually could avoid during the week it happened.

He hadn’t even told the avian about his rut season, because it was embarrassing. And it was even more embarrassing when Grian held a cardboard box that was styled to look like a cartoony version of his head. Mumbo was still horny, of course he was, but, well, it was stupid.
