One day, as you usually do, you go for a walk around the outer city in Area 11 (formerly known as Japan) to clear your mind. You've been thinking too much on how to rid the world of Britannia, which has conquered over 3/4 of the world.

As you walk, you see a truck with a large trailer crash into a small warehouse. It looks like it belongs to the Britannia military. You decide to enter and look around the trailer when the truck suddenly starts moving again. Now you hear helicopters overhead, and the sound of gunfire hitting the outside of the trailer. You hear footsteps and hide, only getting a passing glance someone who posed as a soldier by pass and take off their coat, revealing a more rebellious outfit underneath.

You consider it a better idea to keep quiet, they would probably shoot first, ask questions later in this current situation. You hear a click and jet jostled around like a goldfish in a bag as the trailer disconnects from the truck and falls into the Ruins. Down there, you find a large device, resembling a underwater mine, and investigate it. After accidentally pressing a button, a shine of light blinds you as the device open, revealing a strange, green haired woman inside. She looks at you for a few seconds after opening her eyes, very confused, but you can tell she's a bit grateful to her. The strange suit she's in covers her mouth, but she appears to breathe just fine, and the sleeves are tied closed with belts, but she stands up just fine.

Hearing footsteps approaching, you grab the girl by the arm and hide the both of you away from the trailer, using the old subway system to sneak past the Britannian forces until you exit out a old station. However, a general and a few soldiers waited for you there. Guns pointed at you both, the girl tries to shield you, and gets shot in the head between the eyes. As you catch her limp body, you hear a strange voice in your head.

???: "Contract. *You will ××××× ××××× power to ×××××× future ××× ××××, to ××××× ×××××× ×××××× peace. Do you accept the Geass of the King?"

Without much thinking, you accept the contract and blink to see the same men who killed the mysterious girl who saved you. You use your new power, having the enemies take each other out. Soon after, you use the power and your own strategic mind to their fullest, resulting in a humiliating defeat for Britannian forces.

Almost a week later, you return home from a different walk, helping and making a connection to a rebel group who want to free Japan from Britannian control, but you leave that behind for a moment. However, when you enter your humble abode, you see someone who shouldn't be there. The girl you encountered a week ago before her death was standing in your living room, looking straight at you.
