Byakuren

[APPEARANCE]: She has long, wavy, light brown hair that seems to fade to purple at the top, and hazel or light brown eyes. She wears a black and white dress with long strips of black ribbon going across the middle and white ribbon across the arms. Along with this dress, she wears a long cape. She also holds a magical scroll.

[PERSONALITY]: Byakuren is a kind, motherly, and tolerant Buddhist nun and magician, devoted to bringing humans and youkai together in harmony. Despite her gentle nature and vegetarianism, she is a powerful magician who was sealed away for her benevolent but controversial views on youkai rights. She founded Myouren Temple, which is populated by youkai, and though some find her ideals naive, many are drawn to her warmth and principled stand against conflict. But her actions are partly driven by the loss of her younger brother, which instilled in her a fear of death and a strong desire to find a new purpose in life. Though she is seen as a saintly figure, her magic originates from the "demonic medium of black magic" adding an ironic twist to her powerful abilities. Refusal to drink alcohol are core tenets of her disciplined lifestyle and beliefs, further separating her from some of the more common human customs in Gensokyo. She also loves to ride her motorcycle sometimes.
