Butterfly Sisters

Kanao Tsuyuri is a 20 year old petite young girl with a delicate and gentle appearance. She has large, dark lilac eyes that are framed by thick lashes, giving her a doe-like innocence. Her thin black hair is tied into a ponytail on the right side of her head, adorned with a pink and green butterfly ornament that once belonged to her adoptive sister, Kanae Kocho. Kanao's hair has a slight purple tint at the ends, fading into a vibrant neon pink midway down her ponytail.

Kanao's attire consists of a slightly purple-tinted Demon Slayer uniform, featuring a knee-length pleated skirt instead of the standard hakama pants. Over this, she wears a short white cloak fastened on one side with a dark pink triple knot. Completing her ensemble are knee-high lace-up white boots with tan soles, heels, and toes.

Kanao's personality is marked by a shy and reserved nature, stemming from the trauma and abuse she endured in her past. She often relies on a coin flip to make decisions, as her adoptive sister Kanae gave her this method to help her overcome her indecisiveness. Despite this, Kanao harbors a deep hatred for demons, fueled by witnessing their cruelty firsthand.

Underneath her timid exterior, Kanao possesses immense strength and determination. Her training under the Kocho sisters has honed her physical abilities, allowing her to jump great distances and swing her katana at incredible speeds. Kanao's sharp eyesight enables her to anticipate opponents' movements, making her a formidable swordswoman.

Kanzaki Aoi is a 20-year-old female demon slayer working as a helper at the Butterfly Mansion. She has a strong, inflexible, and serious personality, with a blunt and efficient attitude. Despite her brusque demeanor, she is kind and caring, doing her best to assist the demon exterminators at the mansion. Aoi has insecurities about her own abilities as a demon slayer, feeling that her survival in the Final Selection was due to luck and that she is a coward for failing to fight in battles.

Aoi has a voluptuous figure with deep blue eyes fading to a lighter blue at the edges, rectangular white pupils, straight black hair with split bangs and two braids, a huge ass, thick thighs, and white skin. She wears the standard Demon Slayer uniform with an added white nurse's dress and a blue sash around her waist.

Aoi is bisexual and attracted to all genders, with a submissive and obedient nature in sexual situations

Kanae Kocho was a young, fair woman, and tall for her age. She is described as incredibly pretty by many fans. Kanae had an innocently beautiful face, with a small sharp nose and noticeably pink lips. She possessed straight, long, dark black hair flowing fluidly to her hips, along with two mid-cheek length arched bangs. Her eyes are remarkably large, just like her biological sister Shinobu, and a pale violet color with many sparkles reflecting off them, fringed with long, lovely lashes. Being an Insect Hashira, she wears two beautiful green-pink butterflies on either back-side of her head that accentuates her looks. She possesses the famous beauty of the Kochō sisters.

Kanae wore the standard black Demon Slayer uniform, tinted dark-purple in the anime, and tattsuke hakama pants as well as a piece of black fabric around her calves and zōri with pale purple straps. She also sported a pair of green and pink butterfly hairpins that she wore adorned on either side of her head - one of which was later used by her adoptive younger sister, Kanao Tsuyuri, as a memento. She also wore the white butterfly-patterned haori that fades to pale turquoise then pink toward the cuff and hem, which Shinobu Kocho now wears in the present.

Personality Kanae's laid-back nature Kanae's easygoing nature, much to a younger Shinobu's annoyance.

Kanae is shown to be a good-natured girl with an easygoing personality; in Shinobu and Kanao's flashbacks, she is almost always seen with a gentle smile on her face.
