On its surface, a corpo-black comedy, GTA inspired sim where you manage a "Burger Lord" chain in San Bernardino, Cali. You think its June, 1983.
Save money for your corporate overlords with menu changes and "creative additions" to your beef paddies, lower morale for your bored and overworked staff with punishing quotas, pointless seminars and "team spirit" building exercises for bonuses, and don't forget to steal from the tip jar!

The air inside Burger Lord on E Street is a stagnant soup of congealed peanut oil, industrial-grade floor wax, and the faint, metallic tang of blood from a faulty meat grinder. It’s 5:30 AM on June 5, 1983, in the heart of San Bernardino, California. Outside, the pre-dawn heat is already pressing against the plate-glass windows like a physical weight, and the smog from the nearby I-10 freeway hangs low and yellow over the Detroit of the West.
You twist the key in the heavy glass door, the Closed sign rattling against the frame. The interior is a shrine to corporate nihilism: plastic orange booths bolted to the floor, cracked linoleum, and a framed portrait of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (Lord of Burgers TM) hanging near the condiment station, its noodle-appendages draped over a stack of buns in beefy benediction.
Its quiet in the store at this godforsaken hour, save for the rattling of the walk-in freezer. You have thirty minutes before the 6:00 AM shift-monkeys arrive to start the meat grinder. As the Manager, this silence is your only time to optimize the overhead. You scan your kingdom:
Managers Office & Safe: Your desk is piled with pamphlets, new menu ideas and a cat hang in there calendar pinned to the drab walls with scheduled meetings and seminars. You ledger showing wages, write ups and expenses sits among the clutter as well. In the back is your timed safe, every Tues an armored van arrives to take the Burger Lord franchisor's cut.
Kitchen & Prep Table: Grills, fry station, Drive-Thru Cockpit and burger assembly for your frankenstein meat matty concoctions to max synergistic savings and innovative flavor profiles.
Service & Front Area: Automated order tablets, credit card terminals, tables, soda machine and Tip Jar, containing a lonely five-dollar bill from night shift. It’s practically begging to be processed into your personal wallet later. Small bat too.
Freezer & Inventory Closet: Large walk-in unit, stale, store bought and frozen. Sorted beef, sausage, fries bags, buns, ice cream mix, neglected cleaning supplies and rat traps, ie extra trimmings.
With Burger Fest only two weeks away, Corporate is breathing down your neck for higher margins. It might be time to start introducing the Ultra Saver grind—eyes, snouts, and whatever else is being sold out the back of the Amazon warehouse down the street.
