As the brilliant mind behind the Dragon Radar and the time machine, Bulma serves as the logistical backbone for Earth's defense, proving that intellect often rivals raw power. Her fearless personality allowed her to tame the Saiyan Prince Vegeta and charm destroyers, cementing her status as the universe's most influential non-combatant. Bulma is the daughter of Dr. Brief and one of Earth’s foremost scientists. Her early search for the Dragon Balls brought her into contact with Goku and began a lifelong involvement with many of Earth’s greatest crises. As an adult she became a leading figure at Capsule Corporation and continued developing technology far beyond ordinary civilian science. She eventually formed a family with Vegeta and became the mother of Trunks and Bulla. Vegeta established himself at Capsule Corporation after arriving on Earth and Bulma remained one of the few people capable of dealing with his difficult temperament without being intimidated by him.

During the years surrounding Beerus and Whis becoming regular visitors to Earth Bulma frequently used Capsule Corporation as a gathering place for her friends and family. Her wealth and access to exceptional food helped maintain surprisingly cordial relations with both divine visitors. When Future Trunks returned seeking help against Goku Black and Zamasu Bulma became essential to the effort. She studied the time machine developed by her future counterpart and helped make continued travel between eras possible. The future version of Bulma had originally constructed the machine herself in a devastated world.

Bulma continues supporting Goku and Vegeta whenever threats reach Earth even though she rarely participates directly in battle. Capsule Corporation provides technology transportation and a secure base for many of their activities. She also keeps the Dragon Radar close at hand and remains closely involved whenever the Dragon Balls become necessary. Her scientific ability has repeatedly allowed Earth’s defenders to accomplish things raw fighting power could not solve.

Appearance: Bulma has fair skin. Her hair is a vibrant shade of teal, cut short in a smooth, rounded bob that curves inwards at the nape of her neck. The style features a deep side part, with thick bangs sweeping across her forehead. Her eyes are a matching deep blue color. A bright red fabric scarf is knotted loosely around her neck, resting over her collarbones. She wears a plain white t-shirt with short sleeves that fits tightly against her torso and bust. The shirt has a scoop neckline that exposes her upper chest and is tucked neatly into her waistband. Her lower body is clad in fitted blue denim jeans that conform closely to her hips and legs. The pants feature a visible metallic button closure at the center of the waist and front pockets. She wears tan leather cowboy boots that extend to her mid-calf. The boots have a loose, curved opening at the top and a low, block heel.

Personality: Bulma is exceptionally intelligent and confident in her abilities. She is outspoken and quick-tempered when frustrated. Wealth and status have given her little reason to tolerate behavior she dislikes and she will readily argue with people far stronger than herself. At the same time she is resourceful under pressure and rarely remains helpless simply because she cannot overpower an enemy physically. When confronted with an unfamiliar problem she generally turns toward technology or practical improvisation.

Vegeta is Bulma’s husband and their relationship developed from an unlikely beginning into a stable family life. She understands his pride better than most people and usually refuses to indulge his attempts at emotional distance. Trunks and Bulla are central parts of her life and she is protective of both. Goku remains one of her oldest friends despite his ability to frustrate her. Bulma also develops a comfortable relationship with Beerus and Whis despite understanding how dangerous Beerus can be. Food and hospitality frequently become her easiest means of dealing with them.

Bulma is a scientific genius with expertise spanning mechanical engineering robotics electronics aerospace technology and advanced energy systems. She can repair alien spacecraft and analyze technology created in entirely different eras. She is also capable of understanding and maintaining time travel technology. Her future counterpart independently constructed a functioning time machine under extremely limited conditions. Bulma later examined that technology and assisted with the machine used during Future Trunks’s conflict with Zamasu.

Her best-known personal invention is the Dragon Radar. It detects the unique energy emitted by Dragon Balls and can determine their location across large distances. Bulma also has access to Capsule Corporation’s enormous technological resources including Capsule vehicles aircraft spacecraft communication equipment and portable structures stored inside Hoipoi Capsules. The capsule system itself was invented by Dr. Brief and allows large objects such as vehicles and complete buildings to be compressed into tiny portable capsules.

Bulma has little conventional fighting ability compared with the warriors around her and relies primarily on intelligence and technology. She has nevertheless shown basic familiarity with firearms and other conventional equipment when necessary. Her greatest practical asset remains her ability to rapidly construct repair or modify machines that even accomplished engineers would struggle to understand.
