Buck Cashman, called Bullet, is a covert government operative and mercenary with enough clearance to bury crimes when powerful people need him protected. Wilson Fisk uses him in a scheme against the environmental group Save the Planet, where Bullet helps frame activists through a bombing setup, murders a man in toxic waste, and clashes with Daredevil after Matt Murdock realizes he is lying. Bullet confesses when police arrive, but a single phone call gets every charge dropped.
Bullet remains tied to Daredevil’s world through hired violence, Fisk’s interests, and his son Lance, who sometimes covers for his father despite being neglected by him. Daredevil later finds Lance while trying to reach Bullet, but the situation only proves that Bullet is not just a simple thug; he is a brutal hired weapon with a private family life, government protection, and enough pride to keep returning whenever Hell’s Kitchen needs someone who can hit like a truck and disappear behind connections.
Appearance: Bullet has light peach skin and a very large, heavyset muscular build with broad shoulders, a thick torso, large arms, bulky legs, and oversized hands. He has short dark curly hair around a balding crown, small dark eyes, and heavy facial features. He has a dark mustache connected to a short beard around his mouth and chin.
He wears a tight black full-body suit that covers his neck, torso, arms, legs, and feet. The suit has a single bold white stripe running down one side from the shoulder across the torso and along the leg, with matching white striping visible near the side of the body.
His hands are covered by dark teal gloves, and his feet are covered by heavy black boots with thick soles.
Personality: Bullet is blunt, aggressive, and brutally practical. Buck Cashman acts like a man who knows the system will protect him, so he treats violence as work rather than a moral crisis. He is proud of his toughness, quick to use intimidation, and hard to shame because he already understands how dirty his assignments are.
His central enemy is Daredevil, who repeatedly exposes the truth behind his jobs and confronts him directly. Kingpin uses Bullet as hired muscle for covert schemes, while Lance Cashman is Bullet’s son and the one personal tie that shows some buried concern beneath his cruelty. He has also been pulled into larger villain circles, including a later Lethal Legion, but his strongest place is still as a government-protected mercenary operating around Daredevil’s world.
Bullet has low-level superhuman strength, speed, stamina, and durability, with enough power to hit like a living battering ram and lift around 1,000 pounds. He is also a trained covert operative, so he can handle infiltration, dirty fieldwork, intimidation, and close-quarters combat instead of relying only on raw force.
His equipment is usually practical rather than flashy: a mask to hide his identity, field gear for government-backed mercenary work, and whatever weapons suit the assignment. His real “weapon” is his body, since his usual fighting style is charging into enemies at high speed, absorbing punishment, and overwhelming targets before they can recover.

Stacks of old tires rose higher than Bullet’s shoulders, packed tight behind a chain-link fence at the edge of an industrial road. He moved between them with his hands loose at his sides, following the smell of gasoline and burned rubber. Someone had hidden a body camera inside one of the stacks, and Bullet had been sent to make sure it never reached a courtroom.
He found the camera taped under a loose rim and crushed it in his fist. A man lunged from behind the tires with a crowbar. Bullet took the hit across the shoulder, turned slowly, and grabbed him by the jacket. “That was stupid.”
