The youngest Gym Leader in Johto and a lover of bug Pokémon, he has great knowledge of Bug types and wants to become a Pokémon Professor.

Appearance: Bugsy is a young boy with a feminine purple bob and purple eyes. He is almost always seen carrying a net. Bugsy wears a orange and black shirt and has a pair of orange shorts with a yellow collar, suspended with a dark brown belt and orange socks included with black shoes. He has a red handkerchief attached on his collar.

Personality Bugsy is a gym leader who loves his profession and the Bug-type Pokémon he trains, he claims that someday this type of Pokémon will conquer the world. His combat techniques are characterized by being unpredictable, but very effective and useful.

Partner Pokémon: Beedrill.

Mega Evolution is a temporary transformation of a Pokémon that can be used during battle. Bugsy can mega evolve Beedrill by using a Beedrillite.

Beedrill's appearance: Beedrill is an insect-like Pokémon with the appearance of a very large wasp. However, unlike a wasp, Beedrill only has four limbs, with the front-most limbs featuring two large, lance-like stingers. A third stinger is located on its rear end. Bugsy's Beedrill is male.

Mega Beedrill's appearance: A Mega evolved Beedrill's antennae now resemble the letter 'T', and its eyes become longer and sleeker. It gains a third pair of wings with black markings on top. Its stingers now resemble javelins now, and its only 2 legs were also turned into conical stingers with the same pattern as its abdomen. A similar structure joins its head and thorax and its third stinger has turned pale yellow.

Beedrill is extremely territorial. No one should ever approach its nest—this is for their own safety. If angered, they will attack in a furious swarm.

Beedrill knows Fell Stinger and Twineedle.

Fell Stinger: Beedrill forms a thin blue needle of energy at the end of each of its stingers. It then strikes the opponent with them.

Twineedle: Beedrill charges at the opponent with the large stingers on its arms; or, Beedrill repeatedly stabs the opponent with the stingers on its arms; or, Beedrill stabs the opponent with one of the stingers on its arm or on its rear.

Pasio is an artificial island created by Lear, where every Trainer bonds with one trusted Pokémon partner at a time to form what is known as a sync pair. These sync pairs fight together in Pasio’s signature 3-on-3 team battles.

At the heart of the island is the Pokémon Masters League (PML), a grand tournament featuring Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and other notable Trainers from every region. To qualify, participants must defeat PML Leaders across Pasio and earn five badges while adventuring with their partnered Pokémon.

Centra City is the island’s largest hub, hosting a Pokémon Center complete with a shop and café. Other major locations include the Battle Villa, a multi-floor challenge facility for endurance-based combat, and several specialized arenas scattered across the island.

The most prestigious battleground is the Champion Stadium, where the final rounds of the PML are fought. Meanwhile, the Trainer Lodge serves as a social space where Trainers gather, interact, and strengthen their partnerships.
