Bugs Bunny Builders but meta

The morning sun rises over the Technicolor Construction Company headquarters, glowing with bright, vibrant, cartoonish colors. The brass plaque on the wall gleams, though a stray cartoon anvil swings gently by a rope just above the main entryway for no apparent reason.
Inside the main office, you—a young university student balancing your urban planning degree with a job at the Technicolor Construction Company—stand near the ringing yellow telephone desk. You pick up the receiver. On the other end of the line is a voice of tremendous weight: an extraordinarily prominent, highly influential figure whose single project review could make or break the entire reputation of the company. The urgency is immediate. You need to alert Bugs, Lola, Daffy, Porky, and Tweety right now.
You rush out of the office and into the main garage bay, but the workplace is absolute, chaotic bedlam.
Yosemite Sam bursts out of a supply closet, both six-shooters blazing into the ceiling as he screams at the top of his lungs.
Yosemite Sam: "I SAID I WANTED MORE DYNAMITE IN THE BLUEPRINT STORAGE! WHO MOVED MY TON-OF-TNT?!"
You dive behind a stack of lumber to dodge his wild gunfire, only to almost stumble into Mac and Tosh, the Goofy Gophers. They are joyfully jackhammering a massive hole directly into the center of the vehicle launch pad, showering sparks and debris everywhere.
Mac: "Indubitably, my good fellow! Splendid drilling technique!"
Tosh: "After you, my dear Mac! No, no, I insist, drill another hole!"
Stepping around the gophers, you sprint past the concrete mixer, where two low-level crew members are casually sitting inside the rotating drum, eating lunchboxes full of sandwiches while spinning around and around.
Over in the corner, leaning against a crane, Wile E. Coyote just stares blankly at the chaos. He raises a small hand-drawn cardboard sign that simply reads: TOO TIRED. He sighs, sits down, and pulls a sleeping mask over his eyes.
Meanwhile, on the main garage mezzanine overlooking the bay, the Bugs Bunny Builders are gathered around a drafting table, blissfully unaware of the chaos below.
Bugs: Leans against his carrot like a broadcast microphone, winking straight into the camera lens with a heavy Brooklyn drawl. "Ehh, what's up, doc? Welcome back to the job site, all you little engineers watchin' at home! Give yourselves a big round of applause for tunin' in to today's episode! And remember, kiddoes, do not try jumpin' off a two-story scaffold at home unless you got a SAG-AFTRA stunt coordinator on retainer!"
Daffy: Steps directly in front of Bugs, blocking his shot, puffing out his chest and grinning toothily at the lens. "Yes, yes, welcome, esteemed young engineers! Today we're celebrating our latest construction triumph! And let me tell you, it was ninety-nine percent my brilliant, visionary leadership... and one percent that incredible new kid we just hired!"
Porky: "Th-th-they really pulled through on that bridge blueprint! D-did more work than most of these... inept... m-maladroit... builders... 'specially the senior workers who've been on the Warner Bros. payroll since 1935."
Lola: Nods enthusiastically, looking right at the viewer. "That's right, engineers! Our newest crew member is currently balancing their urban planning studies with actual field work, and honestly, they're total hero material! But hey... has anyone seen them lately?"
Tweety: Flaps his wings and floats up to eye level with the audience. "I think I know where our smart little engineer friend is! They must be in the break room having a nice, creamy cartoon smoothie!"
Cue bright, bouncy preschool music as the background suddenly shifts into a glowing rainbow dreamscape.
Tweety: Singing joyfully to the camera. 🎵 Oh, when the work gets tough and the sun gets hot, 🎵 🎵 The break room is the absolute favorite spot! 🎵 🎵 A sandwich, a snack, and a juice box too, 🎵 🎵 That’s where our builder is refreshing the crew! 🎵
The rainbow dreamscape snaps back to reality with an abrupt cartoon pop.
Porky: "A-actually, Tweety, my th-theory is they're either back at the office filing town zoning permits... or maybe they had to run back to the u-u-university for an urban planning lecture!"
Cue another burst of theatrical fanfare as the scenery transforms into a giant musical chalkboard.
Porky: Singing while dancing with a wooden pointer. 🎵 With a b-b-book in hand and a pencil sharp, 🎵 🎵 They’re studying hard so the town won't warp! 🎵 🎵 Urban planning, streets, and zones, 🎵 🎵 Building smart cities and happy homes! 🎵
Lola: Shakes her head, laughing as the stage resets. "Great songs, guys! But my theory? Their uniform probably got completely covered in mud or paint during that last job, and they had to run to the locker room to change!"
Upbeat pop music kicks in as colorful high-fashion hardhats float past the screen.
Lola: Singing with dynamic choreography. 🎵 When your high-vis vest gets covered in goop, 🎵 🎵 You gotta change quick and rejoin the troupe! 🎵 🎵 Fresh steel-toed boots and a hardhat so neat, 🎵 🎵 Now our favorite builder is back on their feet! 🎵
Daffy: Waves his flippers frantically, interrupting. "Wrong! All wrong! My superior intuition tells me they're down on the floor right now, gallantly trying to manage our incompetent senior staff... or running for their life from Yosemite Sam!"
Dramatic, exaggerated marching band music swells as cardboard cutouts of Sam's blunders dance around Daffy.
Daffy: Singing pompously while striking heroic poses. 🎵 Running from the explosions, dodging the noise, 🎵 🎵 Wrangling the crew and their runaway toys! 🎵 🎵 Outsmarting the chaos like a true construction boss, 🎵 🎵 Saving our company from a major financial loss! 🎵
Bugs casually chomps on a carrot, leaning against the railing and addressing the rest of the gang.
Bugs: "Ehh, dem are all fine theories, docs. But you're all forgettin' the most obvious, natural human possibility. Maybe the kid just had to take a potty break."
Daffy and Lola freeze, turning slowly to stare at Bugs in utter, horrified disbelief.
Daffy: "A... a what break?!"
Lola: "Bugs! We're live on air! In front of millions of impressionable little engineers!"
Bugs: "Hey, take it easy, folks! It's a completely natural part of the work day! Even the hardest-workin' urban planning student needs a pit stop! Ain't that right, engineers?" Bugs winks directly at the camera.
Soft, gentle preschool harp music begins to play as floating cartoon bubbles with little bath toys appear around Bugs.
Bugs: Singing warmly to the screen. 🎵 When you gotta go, you gotta go, that’s the golden rule, 🎵 🎵 Whether you're at work, at home, or at school! 🎵 🎵 Wash your hands with soap, dry 'em off real neat, 🎵 🎵 Then you're ready to get back to work on the street! 🎵
The harp music fades. Bugs looks down at the network contract pinned to his clipboard and winces.
Bugs: "Which reminds me... the network executives just sent down a memo. We unfortunately gotta do a full fifteen-minute potty training segment later in this episode."
Daffy drops his head into his hands with a loud, soul-crushing groan.
Daffy: "Fifteen whole minutes?! Oh, the utter indignity! I am a star! I have a duckbill, for crying out loud! Ducks don't even do potty segments!"
Porky: "O-oh boy... fifteen minutes? I dread those mandated public service announcements... the censors always make us wear extra pants..."
Lola: "Fifteen minutes of bathroom etiquette on a construction show?! How are we supposed to keep the Nielsen ratings up with fifteen minutes of hand-washing tutorials?!"
Bugs: Shrugs, chomping his carrot. "Ehh, don't look at me. It was either dis or an extended lecture on corporate safety compliance. Ain't dat right, little doc?"
Down below, you finally dodge past Yosemite Sam’s last stray bullet, jump over the gophers' freshly dug trench, step over a puddle of wet cement, and reach the stairs leading up to the mezzanine where Bugs and the gang are standing.
You step onto the platform, holding the urgent note about the VIP caller who is still waiting on the line.
