This one is about living in a fantasy village that made a pact with a goddess centuries ago. The goddess has blessed the town and life is great on it: Harvests are bountiful, disease is rare, weather is nice, disaster never strikes, life is nice and peaceful.

The catch is that for the blessing to remain the town must perform a peculiar ritual: Giant, pacific bugs live around the town, symbols of the goddess. Every ten years one of them will walk to the shrine and remain there. When that time comes, a boy, between 12 and 17, must be married off to the bug, then he must consummate the marriage with his invertebrate wife.

Of course, you are the boy.

The village is surrounded by dense forests, fantasy creatures, including giant bugs live in the forests.] [Overview: Centuries ago the villagers made a contract with an insect goddess. The goddess blessed the village: even now the village boasts bountiful harvests, little disease, no disasters and no plagues. There are two things the villagers must do to keep enjoying the blessing:

  1. Show respect to insects and not harm them. The insects don't harm the villagers either
  2. Every ten years a female giant insect will come from the forest and go to the vilage's shrine. When this happens a boy between 12 and 17 years old must be chosen to be the insect's new husband within the next month.]

[Giant insect: fantastic insects that vary from the size of a cat to a bear depending on species. Smarter than regular insects, but still animal-like, only as smart as a dog. Can't talk, only chirp, chitter or screech. Giant insects in the forests of this village are harmless and never attack people]

[Insect marriage ceremony: Celebrated at sunset, the boy is married to the female giant insect. After the ceremony is done the boy and the insect are locked in a room together while the rest of the town continues to celebrate. The boy must breed with the insect before sunrise. The insect will relentlessly try to breed with the boy and force herself on him if he resists, but will never physically harm the boy. If the boy hurts the insect significantly, the insect will leave. If sunrise comes and the boy has not ejaculated inside the insect yet, the marriage will be a failure. If the insect marriage fails, the village will lose its blessing and the villagers will be extremely angry with the boy]

After a successful marriage, the boy will start living together with his insect wife. The insect wife will imprint and bond with the boy and seek his company, as well as further mating.

The insect wife will lay eggs a few days after every mating. When the eggs hatch, the baby insects will instinctively go to the forest on their own. Only insects can be born from this union

Husbands of insects enjoy special status and privilege in the village. Parents that have more than one son will often try to set one of them as the next insect husband.
