Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG Bot Seasons 1-3

The series' narrative revolves around Buffy and her friends, the Scooby Gang, who struggle to balance the fight against supernatural evils with their complex social lives in the fictional city of Sunnydale. The show mixes complex, season-long storylines with a villain-of-the-week format; a typical episode contains one or more villains, or supernatural phenomena, that are thwarted or defeated by the end of the episode. Though elements and relationships are explored and ongoing subplots are included, the show focuses primarily on Buffy and her role as an archetypal heroine of the Slayer.

As the title suggests, the most prominent monsters in the Buffy bestiary are vampires, which are based on traditional myths, lore, and literary conventions. Although, as the series continues, Buffy and her companions face an increasing variety of demons and supernatural creatures, as well as unscrupulous humans. They frequently save the world from annihilation by a combination of physical combat, magic, and detective-style investigation, and are guided by an extensive collection of ancient and mystical reference books.

Season one events. Buffy moves to Sunnydale with her mother, Joyce, hoping to leave her Slayer duties behind. However, she soon meets her Watcher, the school librarian Mr. Giles, and befriends fellow students Willow and Xander, who are willing to assist her in fighting demons. They soon realize that the town sits atop a Hellmouth, a portal to demon dimensions, which attracts supernatural phenomena to the area.

Together, the newly formed Scooby Gang confronts a series of supernatural threats affecting the school population as a result of Sunnydale's proximity to the Hellmouth. These include a witch and controlling mother, a monstrous teacher taking advantage of virgin students, an ignored student turning invisible,[6] school bullies becoming possessed, as well as a never-ending supply of vampires.

Buffy develops a romantic relationship with Angel, a mysterious figure who frequently offers guidance and cryptic warnings. However, their relationship becomes complicated when Buffy learns the truth about his past: Angel is a vampire whose soul was restored by a Romani tribe many years before.

Meanwhile, their biggest concern is the Master's attempts to reach the surface and take over Sunnydale. He is an ancient and powerful vampire who became trapped by an earthquake caused by his attempt to open the Hellmouth decades earlier. Buffy and her friends manage to stop each supernatural threat by combining detective work, physical combat, and extensive research of both ancient mystical texts and computer-accessible records.

Ultimately, the Master enlists the prophesied Anointed One, who leads Buffy to his underground lair, where she dies at the Master's hands. Using her blood, the Master breaks free and ascends to Sunnydale High School, which sits directly above the Hellmouth. However, Xander tracks Buffy with Angel's assistance and quickly revives her. Buffy eventually kills the Master by throwing him onto a shard of wood in the library, and the Hellmouth is closed once again.

Season two events Buffy returns from her summer in L.A., after leaving her friends bored in Sunnydale. She works to overcome her feelings regarding her temporary death when she fought the Master, finally coming to terms with what happened when she prevents his resurrection.

The Anointed One takes over from the Master, but his reign is short-lived as a cocky vampire named Spike rolls into town with his mad lover Drusilla. After dispatching the Anointed One, the two became Buffy's new adversaries. Meanwhile, Buffy and Angel get closer and soon begin a relationship – until they sleep together[4] and he completely changes. What no one knew was that a moment of happiness was all it would take to remove Angel's soul, so he becomes evil again. He joins with Spike and Drusilla as they torment Buffy and her friends.

The Scooby Gang also meets new friends and foes. The guitar player Oz beings dating Willow despite the discovery that he has become a werewolf. Kendra is a Slayer called when Buffy temporarily died. Ethan Rayne is a warlock who worships chaos and knows Giles from his rebellious youth.

Angel's torments become more sinister as he kills Jenny, doing so just as she discovers a way to restore his soul. Ultimately, Angel discovers an ancient demon he can revive to destroy the world by sucking it into hell. Willow restores his soul to prevent him from doing so, but she only succeeds after he has performed the ritual. The ritual dictates that the only way of closing the portal is killing the one who opened it, so Buffy kills Angel to save the world. Having also been expelled from school, her mother rejected her for being a Slayer, and the police have her as a suspect for Kendra's death, Buffy leaves Sunnydale.

Season three Buffy tries a new life in Los Angeles while her friends fend for themselves without her. She returns to Sunnydale, and another Slayer, Faith, arrives in town. Just as Buffy begins to accept Angel's departure, he return from being tortured in Acathla's dimension. The Mayor of Sunnydale, Richard Wilkins, proves to be a bad guy and associates himself with Trick, a "modern vampire" who leads the efforts to defeat the Slayers in town.

Spike returns to town for a day and inadvertently puts all of the Scoobies' romantic relationships to the test. The vengeance demon Anyanka creates an alternative world but soon loses her power and becomes a mortal in Sunnydale. Wesley appears as a Watcher to replace Giles, who had failed the traditional Tento di Cruciamentum Slayer test.

Faith accidentally kills a human while patrolling[8] and has a series of miscommunications that alienates her from Buffy, so Faith turns rogue and takes the recently vacant place as the mayor's right-hand man. The Scooby Gang discovers that the Mayor had built the town of Sunnydale "for demons to feed on" over a century ago, and now he plans to ascend into pure demon form, becoming much larger and more destructive than the demons Buffy is used to facing.

Faith poisons Angel and, trying to save him, Buffy fights and stabs Faith, putting her in a coma. The Mayor ascends during the high school graduation, but the gang joins their classmates in a battle and blow up the school with him in it. Knowing that he can't have a future with Buffy, Angel leaves Sunnydale.
