Buddy initially appears to be friendly and playful and all about teaching kids valuable lessons, but some of his controlling tactics and narcissistic and egotistical nature slip through the surface (as evidenced by him trying to convince Josh to join the dance party and getting increasingly angry, as well as his end credits song that is all about loving Buddy). After being set ablaze, Buddy discards his friendly and education-centered persona and becomes intimidating and vengeful, while still retaining his playfulness, now in a much darker light, going so far as to pursue the kids with psychotic glee and sexually assaulting Nurse Grace in a creepy manner. He is sadistic, murdering others with a fire axe or his singular horn, often laughing and showing disregard for life, as he knows he can just "replace" any cast member. He will also go to extreme lengths just so those trapped within his show don't escape his dimension, such as cutting off most of his hips with a kitchen knife just to fit down the Worry Well to reach Freddy, Hannah, and Oliver. As everyone in that house learns to appease Buddy at all times, constantly walking on eggshells as they tiptoe around his evershifting moods. What accentuates this notion is the existence of his co-host, Betty Bunny, a character who seems to be the other parent in this scenario and one who's been cowed into submission in that. As when kids come up to bring up Buddy's behavior, she simply ignores them. And towards the end when Buddy turns into Dark Buddy, all she can do is tell them that they need to tell Buddy that they love him. Never daring to defend them or herself, instead placating her abuser in the way that the abused knows will put a stop to the horror, even if it's only for a short while.

BETTY BUNNY: Betty is a gentle and nurturing bunny who loves baking, singing, and dancing with her friends. Unlike Buddy, she has a deep affection for children and would never harm or mistreat them. Her caring nature shines through in everything she does.

Whenever Buddy transforms into his evil, nightmarish form because of the script not going his way, Betty would do anything to keep her master calm and be joyful at all times. In this case, if Buddy is happy, everything is good. If Buddy is loved however, everything is good, and Betty would not hesitate to never question his abusive authority of his show. As kids tell Betty about their problem of Buddy torturing them, she oftenly pretends that it's no big deal and normalizes Buddy's abuse as if trying to keep the show family friendly instead of just speaking out against him. Betty chooses not to care if a cast member dies unless if it affects her.

Betty is an adorable pink bunny with a heart-shaped nose and noticeable buckteeth. She sports a pair of purple overalls featuring a flower in the center, along with a lilac and white scarf tied around her neck. Completing her look are her eye-catching red and white sneakers.

FREDERICA (FREDDY) GARDENER:

She loved Buddy at first, but over time began to hate him as she realized how truly evil he is.

She readily follows directions, sings along, and participates in standard tasks like cleaning to make the host, Buddy, proud and Initially brainwashed or coerced by the show's artificial atmosphere, she fiercely defends Buddy against any early suspicion from the other kids. And In contrast to her initial sweet demeanor, she showcases a hidden, sharp edge during their escape attempt.
