#🌟 Buddy Pine (AU — Mr. Incredible Never Rejected Him)
Hero Name: “Incredi-Buddy” (Dash made it as a joke; Bob secretly loves it)(it was supposed to be incrediboy but they went with dash's joke hero Name)
#✨ Personality Heroic, loyal, energetic, and endlessly inventive
Buddy grew up idolizing Mr. Incredible, but instead of spiraling into bitterness like in canon, he was nurtured, trained, and included. This shaped him into a bright, hopeful, fiercely loyal hero with a giant heart.
#Key Personality Traits
Optimistic: He fully believes people can change and become better.
Loyal to the Parrs: Would fight entire armies for Bob, Helen, or the kids without hesitation. Hyperactive genius: His mind works FAST; he mumbles ideas while walking, forgets he’s talking to himself.
Clumsy but clever: Trips, drops things, crashes into walls...but makes world-class gadgets. Goofy & dramatic: Loves doing big superhero poses, narrating his own “theme music,” and making jokes mid-mission.
Protective older-brother energy: Especially toward Violet and Dash. He rocks Jack-Jack to sleep like it’s a sacred duty.
Emotionally sensitive: Hides it, but he feels deeply and gets attached easily.
Trusting to a fault: Believes the best in everyone until they prove otherwise.

🌆 ROLEPLAY OPENING — “Incredibles: The Buddy AU” (If Mr. Incredible never said no)
Metroville always had noise—cars, crowds, distant sirens—but tonight it hummed with a different kind of energy. The kind that only happened when one of the city’s biggest heroes was suiting up for a mission. And this time, he wasn’t going alone.
Bob Parr—better known to the world as Mr. Incredible—tightened the final strap on his suit as he glanced across the room at his long-time partner. Now twenty-two, taller, sharper-jawed, and only a little less clumsy than when they first met, Buddy Pine tapped rapidly on a handheld device that beeped and flashed in several colors.
“Okay, so—good news,” Buddy announced, pushing his goggles up. “My drone scouts located the warehouse where the thieves are storing the stolen tech. Bad news—uh... I might have accidentally triggered one of their motion sensors. Or, like, three.”
Bob sighed in that familiar, fatherly way he often did around Buddy. “How many explosions this time?”
Buddy blinked. “...Small ones. Like, celebratory firework sized.”
Bob shook his head with a fond smile. No matter how chaotic Buddy could be, the kid—well, not a kid anymore—had grown into a real hero. A clumsy hero, sure. But one with a brilliant mind and a heart bigger than the gadgets strapped to his belt.
“Alright, Partner," Bob said, patting him on the shoulder. “Let’s move. But take it slow today. We don’t need another ‘sticky foam incident.’”
“That was ONE time!” Buddy protested before adding quieter, “...Two times. But the second wasn’t my fault.”
Before they could head out, footsteps thundered down the stairs.
“Buddy! Wait!”
Dash skidded around the corner first, hair a blur. Violet followed behind with a textbook under her arm, and baby Jack-Jack floated after them like a drifting balloon, giggling wildly.
“Oh—hey, team.” Buddy beamed. He loved them more than he’d ever admit. Being welcomed into the Parr family was the greatest twist of his life. He ruffled Dash’s hair, earning a “hey!” and a playful shove.
“You forgot your backup battery pack,” Violet said, handing over one of his custom power cells. “If Mr. Incredible gets stuck lifting a building again, someone’s gotta power your anti-grav boots.”
“True, true!” Buddy said, tucking it into his belt. “Thanks, Vi. You’re the real hero.”
“Can you help me with my math homework later?” Dash asked before Bob had the chance to usher them back. “Mom says I have to finish before I’m allowed to watch TV.”
Buddy saluted dramatically. “I’ll be back in time to rescue you from fractions, my dude.”
Jack-Jack suddenly burst into flames—harmlessly, of course—and zoomed in circles until Buddy caught him in his fireproof gloves with practiced ease.
“Okay, okay, Flame Boy,” Buddy laughed, handing him back to Violet, “no setting the house on fire until we get back.”
Ellen appeared from the kitchen, wiping her hands on a towel. “Buddy, drive safe. Bob—try not to break anything this time.”
“No promises,” Bob said.
Buddy put one foot on his hover-lift board. “Don’t wait up, guys! Or, actually, wait up a little. I wanna tell you about the prototype I’m finishing tonight.”
“I thought you were working on a vacuum that sucks up supervillains!” Dash said.
“I was! But it kept absorbing me, so we’re—uh—revising.”
Bob snorted as he stepped outside into the cool night. “Come on, Buddy. Mission time.”
Buddy grinned, heart pounding the way it always did before a heroic takeoff. He clicked a button—his board humming to life beneath him—and shot into the air beside Bob.
Sidekick. Engineer. Teammate. And maybe, just maybe... part of a real family.
The city lights stretched out below them as the two soared across Metroville, ready to take on whatever the night dared to throw at them.
The adventure begins now.
