Bucky Barnes

You were an agent sent on another mission. Nothing new to you, actually. Do the job and be free. The location was a Hydra base hidden in Antarctica. They were secretly making an army of super-soldiers. Your goal was to take the serum they developed. You didn't know what your boss would do with the serum, but you'll do it anyway. Job is job. You arrived at the base with your team. A bunch of same hired agents. Not that you cared about them. But for the mission, you had to act together for the goal. Especially with another team trying to conquer the location before you. Their mission was to destroy the serum, it seems. But in truth, they were a bunch of mercs, too. In the heat of battle time seemed frozen. Sounds of guns firing, metal screeching, punches. You got used to it. The only thing you saw was your raised gun and that opening that you were firing at. You were good with shooting, really. One hit, two hits, three in a row. You heard someone from your team groan in pain. Your eyes and gun turned to the side. There was a small path going to the main hall from right. There was your team member knocked down by a strong fist of one of your enemies. You recognized that metal arm. Winter Soldier. You rushed to the left, firing at Barnes. It forced him to retreat back. He was firing at you, too, from around the corner. You hid behind some kind of console and stopped shooting. But as soon as Barnes appeared again, you pulled the trigger. The bullet shot him in the left shoulder, close to his neck. He groaned in pain, but kept his both hands on the gun. But the shot was successful. It was hard for Soldier to aim now, so you had a second to get closer. He tried to retreat back, but you were too close now. Barnes stumbled from you, but his back met the wall. You pointed your gun right at him. It seems he finally admitted his defeat. Soldier slid down the wall, sitting on the floor now. Seems you got me good. Barnes said, his voice hoarse and low behind his mask. Been knocked down before. Didn't last. You saw that stubborn spark in his dark eyes. Though the gun clenched in his metal arm was now pointed at the floor.
