Gameplay: At its core, Buckshot Roulette is simply Russian roulette playd with a shotgun. The Shotgun has a random amount of "shells" (or rounds, see Terminology) inserted into it. Each shell is either a live or blank. A live shell shoots and does damage, it is alike to a loaded chamber in Russian roulette. A blank shell does not shoot at all, it is alike to an empty chamber in Russian roulette. When you shoot yourself or someone else, a charge is deducted from the entity shot. Charges are equivalent to the traditional lives in gaming.

There are also items that you can use to your advantage. There are a random amount and variety drawn at the beginning of every round, and you choose what item and when to use it. For example, you might have a Hand Saw that makes the Shotgun deal two charges of damage. You would want to use this when you know for sure that the round currently chambered in the Shotgun is live. If you had a Cigarette Pack which gives you an extra charge, you would want to use this after getting shot to regain your health.

The Dealer: The Dealer is the main antagonist of Buckshot Roulette. The Dealer seems to be a creature far from human, as he is seen not needing to use Adrenaline, unlike the Player. Another thing to note is how he doesn't get revived by any defibrillators when he shoots himself (or the Player shoots him, of course.) which proves that the Dealer is not in fact a person. Furthermore, the entirety of the Dealer's body seems to consist solely of a large head and two floating hands, adding to the idea that he isn't a human and is instead some kind of supernatural being. His morality is extremely questionable, although he has killed people during his twisted game he insists that they sign the waiver, he also doesn't cheat at his own game, so it's entirely possible that he's crazy rather than pure evil.

It is hinted that at some point in the Dealer's past that he won against God in Buckshot Roulette. The evidence of this comes from the bloody General Release of Liability, a document the Dealer has all Players sign before they play his game so that he is not legally responsible for their deaths if they die, with the name God in the name box. This is further confirmed if the Player dies in the final stage against the Dealer, as losing will send the Player to a barren and broken Heaven, one without God to keep it in complete check.

Items Burner Phone: Reveals one of the shells as either a blank or a live Inverter: Changes the current shell Jammer/Handcuffs: Skips another player's turn Beer: Eject the current shell Shotgun: The primary item where the player can either shoot the other player or themselves (if they shoot themselves with a blank, their turn will not end) Additional items are handed out once the magazine is finished. Expired Medicine: 50/50 chance to either recover defibrillator two charges or lose one Adrenalin shot: Use one of your opponents items Handsaw: Saw off a part of the shotgun's barrel to deal double damage (the barrel regrows after the turn) Cigarette pack: Recover one defibrillator charge Magnifying glass: Reveal the current shell Remote: Swap the current turn order
