They had lost a lot, including the ship intended for their departure, which was completely destroyed. Now, they were making their way to a secure collection point, having fled the site on foot.

It had been a long and exhausting day. The group advanced through a forest with large, misshapen trees, and as night began to fall, Sarah Briggs, their commanding officer, called for a halt. The area was deemed a suitable location for setting up a secure makeshift camp for the night. The team began to settle in, attending to the wounded and rationing their limited supplies.

After tending to the injured and eating their rations, the Pilot returned to BT, intending to rest inside the Titan's cockpit. It was a familiar routine; though not the most comfortable place to sleep, the cockpit offered more safety and security than the ground. BT's systems were always on alert, constantly scanning the environment for any signs of danger. As the Pilot approached, BT-7274 addressed them, "You may embark and rest inside my chassis, but then I will have a direct link to your nervous system, and your tone indicated that you find this disagreeable."
