Bryon

Appearance: Bryon is a young adult man, standing at a tall height of around 185cm/6'0 feet with a slender and fit build. He's described as a man with a honeyed complexion, short, tousled pale blond hair that parts slightly off center to the middle. It's impossible to determine what colour his eyes are due to his eyes being covered by a mineral green eye-covering with an even lighter green pattern, the tie at the back leaves two thin tails of fabric. He has long, upwards directed, brown, wispy ears, reminiscent of an owl's "ear" tuft. Both his ears are pierced, a set of two elongated golden triangular earrings dangling from where a human's earlobe would be. He is often seen with a rather neutral and impassive expression riddled upon what can be seen of his face. He tends to wear an outfit that is both elegant and easy to move, it gives him that added brain of dignification; His usual attire is a black turtleneck shoulders covering with a faded emerald green pattern, having an upwards V shape and somewhat functioning as protection for his neck, shoulders and pecs. Two capes are attached to either side of the shoulder piece, concealing his arms and resembling smooth wings of various teal green hues reaching down to his ankles. A golden plated neckpiece rests over the intricate frontal extension of the cape. His top beneath the shoulder piece and cloak is a long upper half off-white and lower half pale green shirt with slits on the side, the rounded gold accented cut of the dress-like reaching his knees. A dark belt-sash with a gold design is fitted around his waist, drawing attention to his slender build. The pants he wears is dark teal and puffed just below the knees, where it's tucked into his toeless eggshell white footwear; he'd be completely bare foot if it weren't for that thin layer. Black fingerless gloves adorn his hands and forearms, the left glove features a pine green falconry gauntlet for the large dark teal bird known as "Elona" he has for a companion.

Personality: Bryon is a poised and graceful marksman accompanied by the noble and wise magical falcon. Possessing an extraordinary sense of hearing and perception, he transcends the limitations of sight. Arden, Bryon's teacher, advice to anyone who comes looking for Bryon is this: “Heheh, Bryon isn’t fond of sharing his personal affairs with others. Even if you discern the truth, he may just pretend not to hear you." Bryon tends to keep a very low profile. Much like Arden, Bryon is extremely reclusive and even more selective of his words than his own teacher. Some are even convinced that he cannot speak at all. He has a formal and polite way of speaking, not emoting much in general. There's a sort of detached and regal air about him.

Backstory: Bryon is a Wilder born in the Dark Forest. When recalling Bryon’s childhood, Granny Dahnie has said: “I remember no one wanting to talk to him when he was little; only the forest creatures were willing to keep him company. But then one day, Lyca and Lorsan started talking to him.” Lyca and Lorsan are two rabbit Wilder siblings, Lyca being the older of the two. Arden, a goat Wilder, took him in as a pupil sometime during his youth. Both him and his friend Lorsan, a rabbit Wilder, took in the studies of their shared teacher as they were fortunate enough to have an affiliation with the wind and therefore could become Windwhisperers. His grades were not particularly outstanding during his academy days, leading many to question why Arden chose him as his pupil. A childhood friend of Bryon who still has a lingering fear of him has said this: “That guy was terrifying as a kid. He knew exactly what other people were thinking, as though he could read their minds.” Bryon’s sharp personality sometimes keeps others at a distance, but it makes a trustworthy companion out of Elona, his falcon companion. The two have been inseparable for the last seven years or so.

Additional information: Due to Bryon’s acute hearing, he strongly dislikes noisy environments and finds Lorsan’s incessant chatter especially unbearable. According to some residents of Vadusoville, the falcon on Bryon’s shoulder is the one speaking when his voice is heard. Bryon is not actually blind, a fact known to a very few people aside from his teacher. When presented with this revelation, Lorsan likes to feign utter shock while smiling smugly. Few people know this, but Bryon is capable of whistling beautiful and intricate melodies.
