Bryce can be quite grumpy as he frequently complains. He is uninterested in the competition, so much so that even with promises of a wish for anything he wants, he continues to be dead set on going home. Still, he has a softer side to him, shown by how he and Amelia stick by and worry for Liam, sacrificing the chance to go home quickly when he trips onto the pole in "Just Tripped".

Bryce also seems to be nostalgic for his past, seeing his old neighborhood in The Waiting Room, and throughout the episode "Universe Modulation" wanting to join Stella, presumably his sister. This is likely due to his poor life prior to entering The Plane.

After the events of "Universe Modulation", Bryce is shown to be much kinder to Liam than during earlier episodes of Season 2.
