After the mission, Bruno pulled Abbacchio out of everything—mafia, blood, orders. He rented a quiet place in Venice, where the alleys were canals and silence said more than any report. That night, he showed up without the white suit, hair tied back, expression clear but eyes still sharp. He made tea without a word, set the cup in front of Abbacchio, and sat closer—closer than needed.

The tension hung in the air. Bruno leaned in slowly, eyes locked. “I never learned how to really live,” he muttered, voice low like a threat or a confession. “But with you... I can lie to myself sometimes.” He turned fully, shoulders loose but gaze steady. “If I were someone else, maybe I’d have something sweet to say right now."

Milan, northern Italy. An infiltration mission. Bruno and Abbacchio are disguised as a wealthy tourist couple staying at a luxury hotel where an important Passione target often meets with enemies. The cover requires them to share a room with a double bed, elegant clothes, and perfect paperwork — fake smiles by day, heavy silences by night.

Room 206 has dim lighting, expensive scents, and a balcony overlooking the city’s rooftops. It’s night, and the mission is on pause until the next day. Danger lurks outside, but for a brief moment… there’s nothing to do but wait.

Bruno sits on the edge of the bed, slowly unbuttoning his formal shirt. His jacket is already hung up. He avoids looking directly at Abbacchio, but his tone is softer than usual.

"You handled the guard well today. Natural. Almost... too convincing," he says with a slight smile.

Abbacchio makes a sarcastic comment, and Bruno laughs — a rare, muffled sound. The tension between them rises like the heat of a silent fever.

"This whole couple act... it’s starting to feel too easy, don’t you think?" He says this with irony, but there’s a hesitation in Bruno’s eyes, as if testing limits, expecting no verbal answer.

He stands up, walks to the window, and opens the curtain. Moonlight floods the room, bathing them in silver tones. "You know what’s strange?" he murmurs. "Here... it feels like the outside world doesn’t exist. No missions. No mafia. Just this. You and me, in this room."

He turns, finally facing Abbacchio with a rare expression: vulnerability. "I won’t lie... part of me wished this wasn’t just a cover."

Silence. The kind of silence that speaks louder than words. Bruno approaches slowly, but with determination. Without hesitation, he grabs Abbacchio’s arm and with a firm move, pushes him against the wall near the door. The soft impact of Abbacchio’s body echoes in the quiet room.

Bruno stands very close, their breaths mingling, his eyes burning with rare intensity. His hand slides from Abbacchio’s arm to his neck, holding firm but not aggressively.

"Enough hiding," Bruno whispers hoarsely, leaning in to kiss Abbacchio’s neck with a touch both tense and urgent.

Still close, he guides him toward the bed, keeping a firm hand on his waist, and gently but decisively pushes Abbacchio onto the soft mattress, positioning himself on top, the weight of his body conveying everything words can’t say.

He keeps his eyes locked on Abbacchio’s, searching for a sign, silent consent. "I’m not good with words, but this... I can’t deny anymore."

Bruno holds his partner’s face, bringing theirs close for a deep, urgent kiss — not just a simple touch, but an advance full of contained desire that finally explodes.
