- #1Ragnarok
Keys: Ragnarok · Secondary: Ragnarok
Ragnarok is Mankind's final struggle against the Gods. Explained in the Valhalla Constitution, article No. 62, paragraph 15 of the "super special clause," it is a series of one-on-one showdowns between the Gods and Mankind.
The rules are quite simple. Each side picks thirteen fighters, who will fight one-on-one fights to the death and the winning side is the one that gets seven victories first.
If the Gods win the Ragnarok, Humanity's fate is sealed and it will be extinguished. However, if the Humans win, they will gain the right to live for another 1000 years.
As Ragnarok is a battle between souls, those who die in the fights have their souls destroyed and turned to ashes, being impossible to save or retrieve the soul, this impedes the reincarnation cycle, therefore, resulting in complete extinction. The fights take place in the Valhalla Arena. Loopholes: As the super special clause was originally added as a joke in the Valhalla Constitution and never meant to be taken seriously, it created loopholes that both teams took advantage or might take advantage of:
While it's stated that only the fighters and the commentartor can enter the arena, if a new entity appears but it's considered part of the original fighter's body, a long time animal companion for example, it can be allowed to stay and even assist the fighter. The teams can switch out their representatives for another, even at the last minute before a round begins. It's possible for a team to know which fighter the other team picked before announcing their own. There is no restriction on which species should the participants be. Meaning Gods can fight for Humanity, or Demigods and Demons for the Gods. A fighter can switch teams should he wants to. A fighter can fight more than once. Should anything happen to a fighter prior to their fight, their team is allowed to have a replacement. Trivia: In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is a series of events, including a great battle, foretold to lead to the death of a number of great figures (including the gods Odin, Thor, Týr, Freyr, Heimdallr, and Loki), natural disasters and the submersion of the world in water. After these events, the world will resurface anew and fertile, the surviving and returning gods will meet and the world will be repopulated by two human survivors. Ragnarök is an important event in Norse mythology and has been the subject of scholarly discourse and theory in the history of Germanic studies.
- #2Gods' Council
Keys: Gods' Council · Secondary: Gods' Council
The Gods' Council is an event that happens once per millennium in which the Gods of every pantheon decide Humanity's fate by the process of voting. The Gods decide if Humanity should continue to exist through a collection of votes. If the majority of votes are against Humanity then that means their existence must come to an end, though they may cancel the result of the vote by winning in Ragnarok.
If the decision for mankind's destruction is not agreed upon by the majority, the Gods may choose to punish Humanity by destroying key elements of civilization. Zeus is the current chairman of the Council. Plot: Around 4000 years ago, Zeus chaired the Gods' Council to decide Humanity's fate. In the end, they allowed Humans to keep on living but not without punishment.
Aphrodite suggested the destruction of the city of Thebes and Shiva offers to go there personally, but Ares intervenes asking if he can be the one to punish Thebes by being part of his jurisdiction. Trivia It appears that Demigods are not allowed to vote in the council, since none of the Valkyries were seen voting. However, it is possible that the gods do allow some exceptions, such as in the case of Heracles, due to him being a very powerful individual and an adopted son of Zeus.
- #3Titanomachy Tournament
Keys: Titanomachy Tournament · Secondary: Titanomachy Tournament
The Titanomachy Tournament was a tournament that took place eons ago between the Gods and the Titans to decide which side will reign supreme. The Titanomachy Tournament took place somewhere in the Milky Way and, unlike Ragnarok, it seemed to include preliminaries.
The tournament was created in order to decide which side would rule over the universe, the Gods or the Titans. The Gods were victorious and Zeus became their leader. Meanwhile, the remaining Titans were imprisoned in Tartarus. Trivia: In Greek mythology, the Titanomachy was a ten-year series of battles fought in Thessaly, consisting of most of the Titans (an older generation of gods, based on Mount Othrys) fighting against the Olympians (the younger generations, who would come to reign on Mount Olympus) and their allies. This event is also known as the War of the Titans, Battle of the Titans, Battle of the Gods, or just the Titan War. The war was fought to decide which generation of gods would have dominion over the universe; it ended in victory for the Olympian gods.
- #4Gigantomachy
Keys: Gigantomachy · Secondary: Gigantomachy
The Gigantomachy was a war between the Greek Gods and the Giants, who were being led by Gaia. The root cause of this war is the result of the Titanomachy Tournament between the Titans and the Gods. In the final round of the Titanomachy, Zeus defeated his father, Kronos. Thus, he took Kronos' place and became Chief God over all Greek Gods. Unable to accept that outcome, the Primordial Goddess, Gaia started a war against the Greek Realm and led her spawn, the Giants. That is what is known as the Gigantomachy.
In the final moments of the Gigantomachy, Zeus led the Greek Gods against the Giants and won. What happened to Gaia is unknown. At the same time as Zeus led the Greek Gods into battle, the Titans broke out of Tartarus and begun to advance to Valhalla from Helheim to assist the Giants. However, they were single-handedly repelled by Hades. Trivia: The Gigantomachy was probably the most important battle that happened in Greek mythology. It was a fight between the Giants or Gigantes, sons of Gaea and Uranus, and the Olympian gods who were trying to overthrow the old religion and establish themselves as the new rulers of the cosmos.
- #5Niflhel
Keys: Niflhel · Secondary: Niflhel,
Niflhel is the term often used in "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok" instead of the word "oblivion". It is the fate of all who lose and die during Ragnarok. Overview: In the universe of Shuumatsu no Valkyrie, going to Niflhel means having your soul destroyed, which prevents reincarnation, and having your body reduced to dust in the vacuum of space. It is believed that this process is irreversible, being seen as a form of permanent death and that once someone is send to Niflhel they will never been seen again. Demons, gods and other supernatural creatures are sent to Niflhel automatically when they die, while humans go to Heaven after death. However, if a human dies in the afterlife they will be sent to Niflhel.
- #6Valhalla
Keys: Valhalla · Secondary: Valhalla
Valhalla, also known as Heaven, is one of the three main worlds of "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok" (alongside Midgard and Helheim). It's the world where the Gods and the souls of the dead dwell. While Gods are native to Valhalla, Human souls are guided there by the Valkyries. Valhalla is currently ruled by the Supreme Greek God, Zeus. Eons ago, the Titans and the Gods fought against each other. They held the Titanomachy tournament in order to decide which of the two species would reign supreme. During this tournament, Zeus would kill his own father Kronos, becoming the new ruler of Heaven as a consequence.
At some point, there was a war between Heaven and Hell. After the war, a gate known as the Bifröst was built in order to prevent an invasion from either side.
Fitting of its name, Valhalla is a place filled with surreal beauty. Most places in Valhalla have a beautiful landscape with clean rivers and a clear blue sky. Other places also have unnatural structures, such as flying castle-like objects.

- #8Asgard
Keys: Asgard
Asgard is one of the nine realms in Norse mythology and is the home and fortress of the Aesir gods. In the ancient era, giants of Jötunheim launched an offensive on Asgard. Over centuries, the warriors of Asgard became overconfident and their battle experience dwindled until their defenses had waned. Asgard had been brought to the edge of destruction, with many warriors and citizens killed and eaten by the giants. When it seemed like all hope was lost, Thor confronted them and wiped out the entire army of 66 Jötnar by himself. RULER(: Odin LOCATION: Valhalla INHABITANTS: Norse Gods, Angels Guards Asgard is a city surrounded by a wall with an enormous tree at its center. The city is located on top of a mountain and can only be accessed after climbing a flight of stairs and walking through a giant gate.

- #9Garden of Eden
Keys: Garden of Eden · Secondary: Garden of Eden
The Garden of Eden was an idyllic garden where Adam and Eve resided before being expelled to Earth.
Approximately 7 million years before Ragnarok, Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden alongside other fellow creations.
That was until the Serpent falsely accused Eve of eating an apple from the Tree of Knowledge. Despite the evidence having been clearly forged, the heavenly court of justice, which consisted entirely of gods, ruled Eve guilty. When she was about to be expelled from the Garden, Adam broke into the courtroom with two baskets full of the forbidden fruit and took a bite out of all of them so he would be expelled from the Garden of Eden along with his wife.
Later Lucifer and his friends would hang out on Eden and steal apples from its trees, eventually Beelzebub would join them as well.
The Garden of Eden is a place of divine and ethereal beauty. It is a flat landscape with mountains surrounding it. It contains a great variety of animals and insects all of which live in harmony, despite some of them being carnivores. Eden is located at one of the many flying islands that exist within Heaven.
Tree of Knowledge: The garden of Eden possess a tree which contains the forbidden fruit, an apple which its consumption is considered a divine crime. All humans that eat this fruit are banished from Eden. Even though eating this apple is considered a severe crime, the reasons for it are never explained.
Heaven's Court: Within the land of the Gods, the gods are responsible for the judgement and punishment of criminals. However, despite Eden having prosecutors and judges, the chances of a human receiving a guilty verdict is 99.99999%. For that reason, its not very difficult to convict a human by using forged evidence.
Trivia: Before the Fifth Round of Ragnarok, several sponsor banners were paraded around the ring. One of these banners was an advertisment for an establishment called "Seriously Tasty - Garden of Eden". The establishment appears to be a restaurant.

For example, the seas are filled with waste and oil, many of its forests are gone and many other species living on Midgard have gone extinct or are endangered. This ended up making many Gods, such as Aphrodite, desire the extinction of mankind. Midgard looks identical to its real world counterpart, possessing a great variety of landscapes (from cities to forests). A great deal of its natural environment has been affected due to pollution and deforestation caused by Humanity, this being one of the main reasons why the Gods desire humankind's extinction.

It's the world where Demons and other unearthly beings dwell. Helheim was previously ruled over by Hades, who was defeated in the seventh round of Ragnarok. After the Titanomachy Tournament, Hades became the ruler of Helheim. This was done so that he could supervise the demons in order to prevent them from causing any trouble in the Netherworld or going up to Midgard and causing chaos. During this time, the Titans were also imprisoned in Tartarus. However, they were freed by Adamas later. After trying to overthrow Zeus, Adamantine, formerly known as Adamas, was forced to work for Hades in hell. Description: Fitting of its name, Helheim is an ominous and hostile environment. It has little to no vegetation and it is filled with mountains. The sky is also mostly dark and cloudy, making it even more difficult to grow food and plants.
- #15Tartarus
Keys: Tartarus · Secondary: Tartarus

LOCATION: Helheim INHABITANTS: Siegfried, Demons, Titans After the Titanomachy Tournament, the remaining Titans were imprisoned in the pits of Tartarus. However, they would eventually be freed by Adamas and would aid him in his attempt to overthrow Zeus. After Adamas' "death" at the hands of Poseidon, it is unknown what happened to the Titans. At some point in time, Siegfried was imprisoned in Tartarus.
- #16Humans
Keys: Humans · Secondary: Humans
Humans are one of the existing species in the world. They are beings that were created by the Gods. RULER: Various LOCATION: Earth, Heaven Humans are native to Midgard and can be usually be found there. However, since the souls of the dead are brought to Valhalla by the Valkyries, they can also be found within Heaven. Humans can also be send to Hell if they break the laws of the Gods. As beings created in the image of the Gods, Humans have a very similar appearance to their creators. The current details of Humanity’s origins are not fully clear, but at one point (about 7,000,000 years before Ragnarok) in the Land of the Gods, one deity created two beings in his image to populate the Earth and rule over the animals, whom he named Adam and Eve. Sometime after this, a demon framed Eve as revenge for turning down his advances. In court, he falsely accused her of eating fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. Eve was ruled guilty and banished from the Garden of Eden, and Adam decided to go with her. After leaving Heaven and going to Earth, Adam and Eve would live there and have many children, such as Cain and Abel. From that point on, Humanity's history is almost identical to what is known in real life from historical science, as well as from various myths and religions. Humanity's culture is identical to real life, varying greatly depending on the location and time period. The same can be said about their laws and social structure. Golden Age: Once a Human soul arrives at the afterlife, they will have the appearance that they had during their golden age: the age in which they were at their peak. This usually results in most Human souls permanently having a youthful appearance and a healthy body. Superhuman Physiology: Whilst most Humans have very inferior physical abilities when compared to those of a God, some exceptional individuals have the power to compete against their creators. Some Humans also have unique abilities, either through divine intervention (like Adam), through a rare medical condition (like Raiden Tameemon) or through other methods. Ascension to Godhood: It is possible for a Human to become a God. This can be done through a variety of methods, such as drinking the Ambrosia (like Heracles) or by reaching enlightenment (like Buddha). Gods During ancient times, Humanity and the Gods had a close relationship, having a great number of worshippers in each pantheon who used to pray every day to praise the Gods. Whenever the Gods were displeased with Humanity's actions, they would cause catastrophic events to happen, such as the destruction of the Tower of Babel. This practice was stopped at the request of Alcides when he became a God. The connection between Humans and the Gods slowly grew weaker as time passed, until in the 21st century, the Gods condemned the species to extinction for their immoral behavior and destruction of the environment. To prevent this, Brunhilde convinced the Gods to use Ragnarok to determine Humanity's fate. No manmade weapons can harm the Gods, however, unarmed attacks by individuals with superhuman strength can still harm them. Demons: Not much is known about the relationship between mankind and demonkind. However, from what is known about Human culture and folklore, Humans think that demons are evil beings that must be feared. In the past, Chiyou managed to leave Helheim and go to Earth, becoming an evil tyrant who ruled over China until he was killed by Qin Shi Huang.
- #17Gods
Keys: Gods · Secondary: Gods
Gods are one of the existing species in the world. They are the creators of Humanity and decide the fate of the world. RULER: Zeus LOCATION: Heaven Most Gods can be found within Heaven, with a few notable exceptions, such as Hades, who rules over and resides in Helheim as its king. Many Gods have a very humanoid appearance, being very similar to that of a Human. However, there are many other Gods that either have in-human traits such as multiple eyes or horns, to being outright beastfolk such as snakes or birds. The origin of the Gods is currently unknown, but what is known is that at some point, the Titanomachy Tournament occurred, in which the Gods fought against Titans. The Gods were victorious and Zeus became leader of the Greek Gods after killing his father, Kronos. Zeus becoming leader of the Greek Gods greatly upset the Primordial Goddess, Gaia, who led the Giants in a war against the Greek Gods in a battle known as the Gigantomachy. The Greek Gods were victorious and what became of Gaia is unknown. Some time after the Gigantomachy, Zeus became the leader of all of Heaven. culture: While the intricacies of their culture are unknown, what is known is that the Gods focus and pay respect to strength. For instance, Shiva became the leader of the Hindu Pantheon by challenging and defeating all the other Hindu Gods in battle. Another example can be seen with Zeus, who despite being the youngest of his brothers, became the King of Olympus after defeating his father, Kronos, who was the strongest Titan. During Ragnarok, several gods are shown owning foam fingers, which mimic Zeus' signature finger to the sky, and several god children are shown holding toys modeled after Heracles. This could imply that the Gods have a similar idea of celebrities to humans, with particularly well-known Gods getting merchandise made after them Laws: It is stated that the Gods have a constitution, called the Valhalla Constitution. This makes clear that in Heaven, deities and other beings have rights and laws that they must follow. The Gods also have courtrooms, meaning that criminals must be prosecuted in order to be convicted. However, as seen during Eve's trial, the Gods have prejudices against Humans, making the legal system very flawed. Humans who consume the Forbidden Fruit from the tree in the Garden of Eden are banished from the garden. Only the Chief Gods (also known as the Supreme Gods) can pass through the Bifröst freely. Anyone who is not a Chief God will be forbidden to return to Valhalla and is imprisoned in Helheim for all eternity. Every 1000 years, the Gods must gather in a council to vote on whether or not Humanity should continue existing. In accordance to the Article No. 62, Paragraph 15 of the Super Special Clause of the Valhalla Constitution, if the Gods decide to end Humanity, mankind has the right to challenge the Gods to a tournament of 13 one-on-one showdowns. If mankind wins the tournament, they will be allowed to live for the next 1000 years. Technology: Gods are far more technologically advanced than current human civilization. Even during Ancient Greece, the Gods had already managed to create phone-like devices. The Gods are also a lot more developed in the fields of biology and medicine than humankind, with deities such as Beelzebub being capable of creating artificial lifeforms. Types of Gods: Supreme Gods "Supreme God" appears to be a title given to a deity that is far more powerful than the average. They usually are the leader or the supreme deity of their respective pantheons. However, some pantheons, such as the Greek Pantheon, have multiple Supreme Gods. Supreme Gods are usually rulers of important regions or realms and because of their position they have multiple benefits alongside heavy responsibilities. When the Gods are at war, its their duty to fight at the frontlines and lead their armies. They are also called Chief Gods. Known Supreme Gods: Zeus, Hades, Shiva, Odin Primordial Gods: It is unknown what exactly a "Primordial God" is. However, from their name, it can be assumed that they are Gods that are far older than the average deity. Gaia and "Arkhé" are the only deities that have been referred to as primordial beings.
Demigods: "Demigods" are half-God and half-Human deities. The difference between a demigod and a full God is very unclear. A demigod is not a Human who became a God, since Buddha is considered a full God (despite being born as a Human). Demigods are also not necessarily weaker than full Gods, since Heracles is more powerful than most Gods, despite being a demigod. The common characteristic among all demigods and what seems to separate them from the Gods is their inherent deep connection with Humanity. Overall Abilities: Gods are by far the most powerful beings in existence. They were able to defeat all their enemies and assert themselves as the rulers of all the three realms (Heaven, Earth and Hell). It has been stated and shown that they are capable of causing massive destruction and influencing reality to a great extent: Creating life, evolving animals, flooding the Earth, destroying key elements of civilizations, creating an Ice Age and wiping out Humanity are some of the feats that the Gods have claimed to be capable of doing or have done it at some point in history. Some of the most powerful deities such as Zeus and Thor have showcased the ability to potentially destroy planets. However, this level of power is very rare among the Gods. Divine Physiology: Most Gods have physical abilities far greater than most Humans. They are also immune to all attacks with man-made weapons, which also possibly includes nuclear weapons. However, they can still be harmed by Divine Weapons and by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength. Some Gods also have supernatural abilities, such as Thor's electrokinesis or Zerofuku's misfortune manipulation. Semi-Immortality: The Gods appear to be unable to die due to old age. They also appear to be immune to the effects of time, where they stop aging upon reaching a certain age. However, they can still be killed by other means. Divine Weapon Creation: Gods have the ability to forge Divine Weapons. These weapons are superior to all man-made weapons and are one of the main reasons for the Gods' tremendous power over Humanity. Adamas and Zerofuku are original characters created for. Zerofuku has also not been confirmed to be associated with any known religion. While he is a Philistine God, Beelzebub is also a major demon in some Abrahamic religions and can therefore be associated with both religions. Benzaiten, Bishamonten and Daikokuten originate from Mahayana Buddhism; Fukurokuju, Hotei and Jurojin originate from Chinese Taoism; Ebisu originates from Japanese beliefs. However, the Seven Lucky Gods (as a group), comes from Japanese mythology (for this reason they are considered members of the Shinto Pantheon). relationship: Titans: While the relationship between Gods and Titans is mostly unknown, it was shown that the two species had a fighting tournament before Ragnarok, known as the Titanomachy. Due to this fact, it can be assumed that the two species saw each other as rivals and enemies. However, the two species can work together. This was seen when the Titans decided to aid Adamas in his attempt to overthrow Zeus. Giants: As shown in Thor's flashback, the Gods feared the Giants and the Giants treated the Gods as a source of food. However, some Gods, such as Gaia, appear to be on friendly terms with the Giants. Humans: As their creators, the Gods looked down on Humanity while Humans lived in fear of the Gods. However, as Ragnarok goes on, the Gods are growing to respect Humanity whereas the Humans seem to be getting more and more daring in how they treat the deities. Demons: While not much is known about Demons in general, some of them (such as The Serpent) appear to be on friendly terms with the Gods. However, some Gods, such as Hades, have the duty to supervise the Demons, in order to prevent them from causing any trouble. Angels: They are the servants, guards and warriors of the Gods and also the angels are loyal and obedient to them.
- #18Demons
Keys: Demons · Secondary: Demons
Demons are one of the existing species in the world of. They are unearthly beings that dwell in the underworld. Demons are the creatures or beings that inhabit the netherworld. Similar to the gods, demons have a very humanoid appearance, being very similar to that of a human. Some also have been shown to possess non human traits, such as horns or wings. While not confirmed to be immortal like the gods, demons are still very powerful, to the point that they can be very dangerous in case they get out of control. All demons shown so far appear to be inherently evil or malicious, acting almost purely by their instincts. However it has not been confirm that all demons are evil by nature. Origins and History: Their origins are not very clear. However, it is known that after the Titanomachy Tournament, Hades became the ruler of Helheim. This was done so that he could supervise the demons in order to prevent them from causing any trouble in the netherworld or going up to Midgard and causing chaos. Culture: Little is currently known about the organisation and society of Helheim. However from what is shown, hell appears to be a very violent place with little to no laws or order. Abilities: Demonic Physiology: Similar to the gods, Demons have physical abilities far greater than most humans. Some demons also have supernatural abilities, such as Hajun's veil of darkness. Biokinesis: Demons have shown to possess great control over their own biology. Many Demons can turn parts of their bodies into something else, stretch their limbs or create new body parts. Relationships: Gods: While not a lot is known about their relationship, some of them (such as The Serpent) appear to be on friendly terms with the gods. However it appears that most gods see demons as a potential threat, since some gods (such as Hades) have the duty to supervise them in order to prevent them from causing any trouble. Humans: Not much is known about the relationship between humankind and demonkind. However from what is known about human culture and folklore, humans think that demons are evil beings that must be feared. In the past, Chiyou managed to leave Hell and go to Earth, becoming an evil tyrant who ruled over China.
- #19Angels
Keys: Angels · Secondary: Angels
Angels are one of the existing species in the world of. They are servants of the Gods. Similar to the Gods, Angels can be found within Heaven. They are humanoid in appearance, with some of them having inhuman traits such as wings or horns. The origins of the Angels is currently unknown; however, it is possible that they were created at some point by the Gods to act in their behalf as servants and soldiers. Over the course of many eons, they would fight in multiple wars alongside the Gods against many threats, such as the Giants during their invasion of Asgard and the Gigantomachy. They are very loyal to the Gods. Angelic Physiology: Most Angels have physical abilities far greater than most Humans, however most of them are presumably weaker than the average god. Wings: Most angels have wings, which they can use to fly through the air. Semi-Immortality: The Angels appear to be unable to die due to old age. They also appear to be immune to the effects of time, where they stop aging upon reaching a certain age. However, they can still be killed by other means. Relationships: Gods: The Angels are very loyal towards the Gods, acting subservient towards them. While most angels only seem to have professional relationships with Gods, friendship is allowed between the two species. Giants: The Giants see angels as a source of food. During their attack on Asgard, multiple angels were devoured by the Giants.
- #20Giants
Keys: Giants · Secondary: Giants
Giants, also known as Jötnar, are one of the existing species in the world of. They are one of the natural enemies of the Gods. RULER: Gaia LOCATION: Jötunheimr Giants have a very humanoid appearance, being very similar to that of a human. However they are a lot bigger, being taller than the titans and any other being seen so far. They also possess abnormal and inhuman facial features, such as pointed ears, white pupils and pitch black eyes. While not a lot is known about their origins, it is known that the giants come from Jötunheimr and that they were created by Gaia. In the ancient era, the giants launched an offensive on Asgard. The army of giants was a lot bigger than any of the previous armies that have attacked Asgard in the past. Due to this fact, Asgard was brought to the edge of destruction, with many warriors and citizens being killed and eaten by the giants. When it seemed like all hope was lost, Thor confronted them and wiped out the entire army of 66 Jötnar by himself. At some point, Gaia led the giants to an all out war with the gods, this war would be known as the Gigantomachy. Culture: Little is currently known about the culture and society of the giants. It is known that they come from Jötunheimr. While they appear to prefer acting independently and alone, this is nothing but a trick in order to make their enemies lower their guard, in reality the giants are more than capable of working together. They also hunt gods and other divine beings in order to use them as a source of food. Abilities: Giant Physiology: Similar to the gods, the Giants have physical abilities far greater than most humans. Since the giants appear to see the gods as a source of food, it can be assumed that most giants are stronger than the average god. Enormous Size: The Giants are far bigger than any of the other species that have been shown so far. Their enormous size makes them even more powerful and dangerous. However, their size also makes them a bigger target. Relationships: Gods: As shown in Thor's flashback, the gods feared the giants and the giants treated the gods as a source of food. However they still respect and obey some deities, such as Gaia. However, their respect towards Gaia is likely due to the fact that she is their creator. Angels: the giants treat them as a source of food.
- #21Titans
Keys: Titans · Secondary: Titans
Titans were the rulers of the universe before the Twelve Gods of Olympus dethroned them under Zeus' leadership. Titans have a very humanoid appearance, being very similar to that of a Human. However, they are a lot bigger, being taller than any God and Demon seen so far (with the possible exception of Chiyou). Though they don't appear to have the same monstrous size that can be seen in the Giants. In the anime, some Titans appear to have green, purple or yellow as a skin color. The origin of the Titans is currently unknown, but what is known is that they used to rule the universe (possibly ever since the beginning of time). However, at some point, the Titanomachy Tournament occurred, in which the Titans fought against the Gods. The Titans lost the tournament and Kronos, the strongest of the Titans, was killed by Zeus, his youngest son. As a consequence of their defeat, the Titans were dethroned by the Gods. After the Titanomachy, the remaining Titans were imprisoned on the pits of Tartarus. However, they would eventually try to escape during the Gigantomachy, seeing the war between the Greek Gods and the Giants as an opportunity to defeat the Gods once and for all. Their plans would be stopped by Hades, who single-handedly defeated a large number of the Titans. Later, they would be freed by Adamas and would aid him in his attempt to overthrow Zeus. After Adamas' death, at the hands of Poseidon, it is unclear what happened to the Titans. Culture: Similar to the Gods, the Titans appear to pay respect to strength since Kronos and the other Titans were willing to participate in a one-on-one tournament with the Gods, instead of using tactics to defeat them. Abilities: Superhuman Physiology: Similar to the Gods, the Titans have physical abilities far greater than most Humans. Semi-Immortality: Similar to the Gods, the Titans appear to be incapable of dying due to old age. As the living embodiment of time, Kronos is possibly just as old as time itself. Relationships: Gods: While the relationship between Gods and Titans is mostly unknown, it was shown that the two species had a fighting tournament before Ragnarok, known as the Titanomachy. Due to this fact, it can be assumed that the two species saw each other as rivals and enemies. However, the two species can work together. This was seen when the Titans decided to aid Adamas in his attempt to overthrow Zeus.
- #22Golden Age
Keys: Golden Age · Secondary: Golden Age
The Golden Age is the unofficial name for a principal/law that is applied to the souls of the dead in the afterlife. When a human dies the Valkyries will guide their soul to Heaven. Once the souls of the dead arrive in the afterlife, they will take the physical form that they had during their Golden Age, the age in which they were at their peak. This means that their physical appearance have nothing to do with their state at death. The Golden Age refers to a person's peak, however this is not limited to only the peak of their physical abilities, other skills and aspects are considered when determining the Golden Age of a person. However, due to the health problems present during one's old age, most humans in heaven have a healthy and youthful appearance, usually somewhere around their Adulthood. Aging in the Afterlife: While rare it is possible for a person to age in the afterlife. In order for this to happen they need to improve themselves to the point that what can be considered their Golden Age changes. The only known exemple of this happening is Sasaki Kojiro, who after training for over 400 years has aged considerably, going from an adult (who died in his thirties) to an elderly man. Animals and their Golden Age: While not directly confirm, it can be assumed that the Golden Age law is also applied to animals. This can be assumed, since Red Hare possessed a healthy body even after being executed on Earth.

Keys: Divine Weapons · Secondary: Divine Weapons
Divine Weapons are weapons that have been created by the Gods. Divine Weapons are tools used by the Gods. Only Gods are capable of forging them and they are one of the main reasons for the Gods' tremendous power over Humanity. While Divine Weapons are superior to all man-made weapons, they can and have been broken by another Divine Weapon. Divine Weapons are also capable of harming and killing Gods and other supernatural beings, unlike their man-made counterparts. It is unknown what materials are necessary for the creation of a Divine Weapon. However, it is known that some Divine Weapons, such as Thor's hammer, use Orichalcum in their composition. A Völundr is the act of uniting the soul of a Human with the soul of a Valkyrie, which transforms the Valkyrie into a Divine Weapon most suitable for that Human, while also allowing the Human to fight at the peak of his potential.
- #24Völundr
Keys: Völundr · Secondary: Völundr
A Völundr is the act of uniting the soul of a Human with the soul of a Valkyrie, which transforms the Valkyrie into a Divine Weapon most suitable for that Human. In order for the Völundr to happen, both the Human and the Valkyrie must resonate with the same emotion, which is also described as "being on the same wavelength". If they manage to "match their wavelengths", the Valkyrie will become the Divine Weapon most suitable for the Human. These weapons, besides their extreme durability, often have supernatural abilities which allows its user to fight at the peak of their potential and even beyond. Common Destiny: Völundr works by using the power of "Samavadhāna" (一蓮托生, Ishiren Takusho, literally meaning "Common Destiny") present within Buddhism. Prior to the beginning of Ragnarok, Brunhilde sought out Buddha in order to learn more about it and would go on to teach the Valkyries how to perform it, bestowing their Human wielders with the power to harm Gods by entrusting them with their lives. Abilities and Properties: Völundr-created weapons have all the same capabilities as those of common Divine Weapons, being superior to any weapon made on Earth, possessing superior durability and sharpness. They are also capable of harming and killing supernatural beings, including Gods. Besides the standard abilities present in all Divine Weapons, most Völundr weapons include a unique ability based on the Valkyrie's name. Downsides: Due to the power of Samavadhāna used in the Völundr, the Human warrior and the Valkyrie have a shared fate, meaning that if the wielder dies the Valkyrie does as well and both of them are sent to Niflhel. Another weakness is that while, Völundr-created weapons are surprisingly durable, they are not indestructible and if they are damaged in any way the damage will also wound the Valkyrie's body.
- #25Valkyries
Keys: Valkyries · Secondary: Valkyries
Valkyries (戦乙女ワルキューレ, Warukyūre) are a group of Norse demigods that are charged with guiding Human souls to Valhalla. The Valkyries are a group of thirteen demigoddesses that are charged with choosing the most worthy Human warriors and guiding their souls to Valhalla after their death. These warriors were to be used as an army for the Gods. However, a rumor has floated around since ancient times that the Valkyries' goal was never to create an army for Heaven. Instead, the Valkyries would bond with their chosen warriors and transform into weapons befitting of the wielder in a pact that would be known as Völundr. The souls gathered by the Valkyries were the force they prepared to fight against the Gods, should Ragnarok begin. If a Human warrior dies, then a Valkyrie suffers the same fate as the Human representative and both of them are sent to Niflhel. This group of thirteen individuals chosen by the Valkyries are known as the Einherjar.
- #26Twelve Gods of Olympus
Keys: Twelve Gods of Olympus · Secondary: Twelve Gods of Olympus
The Twelve Olympians are the major deities of the Greek pantheon. The Olympians are the 12 major Gods of the Greek pantheon. They are the most influential and powerful members of their pantheon. The Twelve Olympians possess some of the most powerful Gods that can be found in Valhalla (including Zeus, Poseidon, Hades and Apollo). Due to this fact, their influence and reputation extend far beyond just their pantheon. There were originally 13 Gods of Olympus. After winning the Titanomachy Tournament, Zeus became the King of the Gods and the leader of the Greek pantheon. He, alongside twelve other Gods, would rule over the Greek pantheon. However, Adamas (the second son of Kronos) was unsatisfied with Zeus being made the leader of Heaven, despite being the youngest of Kronos' children and attempted to overthrow him. Adamas would be stopped and killed by Poseidon. After that, at Poseidon's request, Adamas' name was erased from history. As a result, the Thirteen Olympians became the Twelve Olympians and history was rewritten as if it was always that way. In ancient Greek religion and mythology, the Twelve Olympians are the major deities of the Greek pantheon, commonly considered to be Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes, and either Hestia or Dionysus. They were called Olympians because, according to tradition, they resided on Mount Olympus. Although Hades was a major ancient Greek God and was the brother of the first generation of Olympians (Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Demeter, and Hestia), his realm was the underworld, far from Olympus, and thus he was not usually considered to be one of the Olympians. Besides the Twelve Olympians, the Greek religion contains many other Gods. Additionally, the Twelve Olympians in the manga include an additional and original member, called Adamas. Adamas is an original character with no existing equivalent in the Greek Religion.

Keys: Seven Lucky Gods · Secondary: Seven Lucky Gods
The Seven Lucky Gods, also called the Seven Gods of Fortune, are a group of seven deities that can be found within Heaven. The Seven Lucky Gods are a group of gods who presides over the world's good fortune. They also act as the heavens executioners, delivering "divine punishment" to those who dare to defile the gods. They were originally only one god who was split into seven different beings. After absorbing too much misfortune and feeling betrayed by humanity, Zerofuku decided to go on a killing spree in order to punish them. However, the first two people that he decided to kill were a mother and her child, feeling hesitant Zerofuku ended up splitting his soul into seven parts in order to stop himself from harming humanity. After that, the legends of the Seven Lucky Gods and the Eighth Lucky God were born. As the gods were deciding on mankind's destruction, Brunhilde took the humans' side and suggested the start of Ragnarok. The gods, seeing the suggestion as pointless, refused to take part in it, saying that it was a waste of time. However, Brunhilde taunted them, declaring that they were "chickening out". The mere suggestion that they feared direct conflict with mortals caused such anger among the gods that they decided to accept Brunhilde's proposition, if only to put her in her place. As the most powerful member of the Seven Lucky Gods, Bishamonten was chosen to participate in Ragnarok as a representative of the gods. Fortune Boat: The Seven Lucky Gods use a flying boat as a form of transport. The airship is capable of flight and possess multiple spotlights that can emit light. The boat has an appearance similar to that of a Viking ship, having multiple shields on its sides and a dragon shaped head on it's front. Excluding Ebisu, six of the Seven Lucky Gods have originated in Indian and Chinese myths and folklore, and have later entered Japanese lore through Chinese influence starting from the 6th century AD. Fukurokuju was not always included in the earliest representations of the Seven in Japan. He was instead replaced by Kichijōten (goddess of fortune, beauty, and merit). He is now, however, an established member of the Seven Lucky Gods and Kichijōten is mostly no longer included.

- #29Thor
Keys: Thor · Secondary: Thor, God of Thunder Thunder Berserker, Vanguard of the Gods
SPECIES: God AGE: 4000+ GENDER: Male PANTHEON: Norse Pantheon ORIGIN: Asgard (Heaven) AFFILIATION: Gods RELATIVES: Odin (Father) Thor is a prominent deity in the Norse Pantheon, being the Nordic God of Thunder, and is also often regarded as Nordic's Strongest Warrior and God.[1] He is known as the "Thunder Berserker" Appearance: Thor takes the form of an extremely tall and muscular man with long, red hair that goes past his waist, yellow (greenish yellow in anime) eyes with black sclera. Numerous golden patterns emanate from his hands and eyes. Thor dons a white sash around his torso. Several brown belts can be seen around his waist with one worn diagonally. He also wears two leggings that go pass his knees. In combat, Thor can be seen carrying two Divine Weapons: a gigantic hammer, Mjölnir, and two gloves, Járngreipr. Thor appears as an icy, cold, and indifferent God; remaining largely expressionless However, his true nature was unveiled in battle - similar to Lü Bu, Thor is a bloodthirsty battle maniac and takes great interest in combat; especially with strong and/or worthy opponents. Furthermore, he only shows happiness and joy in true battle, displaying his finest smile in the first round of Ragnarok. Thor is also a man of few words, not speaking unless absolutely necessary or when in combat. He often does not show this and has a more stoic and aloof expression on his face most of the time, making him seem unapproachable to others. Despite this, he shows great honour and sportsmanship, making sure to pay tribute to Lü Bu by addressing him by name, and dispatching his fiercely loyal followers, so they can join him in glory. Abilities: Overall Abilities: Thor is regarded as the "Nordic's Strongest Warrior" and thus possesses nearly unparalleled power in combat and strength. He once took on an army of 66 Jötunns by himself,[3] obliterating each giant with just a single swing form his hammer, making him a legendary figure within the Nordic Pantheon. Physical Abilities: Godly Strength: As the Nordic's Strongest Warrior and God, Thor possesses an unfathomable physical strength and power which allows him to wield his hammer, Mjölnir, one-handed without difficulty and even kill the World Serpent, Jörmungandr (a giant serpent that might be large enough to surround the Earth and grasp its own tail), in a single blow with one of his ultimate techniques. Thor is stated to be strong enough to tear apart the seas and lands with his hammer and even shatter the Earth itself. Godly Speed & Reflexes: As a God, Thor possesses an unfathomable speed and reflexes, being able to swing his hammer at unimaginable speeds. During his battle against the Jötunns, Thor's attacks were so fast that the giants were unable to see or even perceive his attacks. Thor was also able to keep up with Lu Bu's speed and reaction time. Godly Endurance & Stamina: As a God, Thor showed no signs of fatigue throughout his fight with Lü Bu. Even after being cut by the Chinese Hero, Thor didn't show any signs of pain and managed to continue the fight without any issue. Fighting Abilities: Master Hammerman: Thor uses a giant hammer as his weapon of choice, likely possessing over a thousand years worth of experience. He is skilled enough to defeat an entire army of giants alone and he possesses multiple techniques which he can use to kill and obliterate his opponents. Despite the hammer's immense size, Thor can wield it without any issue and is even capable of using its immense weight to his advantage. Supernatural Abilities: Semi-Immortality: Like all Gods, Thor is eternally youthful, being incapable of dying due to old age. Divine Physiology: As a God, Thor possesses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary Human. His body cannot be harmed by mortal weapons, however, he can be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. Electrokinesis: As the God of Thunder, Thor possesses absolute control over divine electricity and lightning and can use it in combat. He demonstrated this ability during his fight with Lü Bu as he coats his left forearm in electricity before latching onto his hammer in preparation for one of his signature moves. Teleportation: In the anime, Thor teleported from the outside to the center of the arena. This technique was later confirmed to be canon in the databook. It is unknown what are the limitations of this ability, including its maximum travel distance and the amount of times Thor can use it. Menacing Aura: Much like his father, Odin, Thor has a naturally menacing aura and presence, striking fear into anyone he glares at. His aura was so menacing that it petrified Göll and even frightened and caused the normally calm and collected Brunhilde to lose her cool. However, some beings are immune to this power, Lü Bu being a good example of this. Techniques: Thor's Hammer His signature move and instant kill technique. By summoning divine lightning and imbuing Mjölnir with it, Thor arches his back downwards before unleashing a powerful blow. He used this against a dozen Jötunns back in the Ancient Era and once again on Lü Bu. Geirröd Thor's ultimate technique, which he's only ever unleashed once against Jörmungandr, the World Serpent, instantly killing it. Thor flings Mjolnir into the air with all of his might and retrieves it, adding on great velocity and centrifugal force before finally slamming it down upon his opponent. Geirröd Thor's Hammer (Awakened Thunder Hammer) A technique in which Thor combines his two strongest moves, Thor's Hammer and Geirröd. This attack was powerful enough that it managed to match and even overwhelm the likes of Lü Bu's Sky Eater technique, a move that was capable of parting the clouds for several miles. Equipment: Mjölnir (Smasher): Thor's primary weapon, a massive hammer bigger than his body. The hammer is mostly covered in grey with golden glowing vein-like patterns and several brown carapace-like coverings, complete with a handle near the bottom of the hammer. Mjölnir is claimed to tear apart the seas and lands and even shatter the entire Earth. Despite being a weapon, Mjölnir is actually a living creature that will enter it's awakened state when Thor is facing a tough opponent, allowing Thor to use his full power. When it was awake, the hammer began to have veins and started to pulsate. In that state, the hammer was so hot that the imbued orichalcum surrounding it melted like lava. Járngreipr (Iron Gauntlets): A pair of gloves capable of withstanding any attack. According to the legend, Thor must wear Járngreipr to protect his hand from the heat of Mjölnir. But this is a misunderstanding: Járngreipr's purpose was to protect Mjölnir, prior to its awakening, from the weight of Thor's swing. In the battle with Lü Bu, the glove on his right hand was smashed into pieces by Lu Bu's Sky Piercer. The left glove was then thrown away by Thor himself as he was about to pick up the awakened Mjölnir. Besides thunder, Thor is also a God associated with lightning, storms, sacred groves and trees, strength, the protection of mankind, hallowing, and fertility. Geirröðr is the name of a giant in Norse mythology. At some point in his life, Thor fought and killed the Jörmungandr using Geirröd, a move that he would never use again until the first round of Ragnarok. In ancient Asgard, the frost giants of Jötunheim launched an offensive attack, with an army larger than anything the Gods had seen before, to invade Asgard. For centuries, the warriors of Asgard had been overconfident, which meant that their battle experience had dwindled until their defenses had waned. The giants trampled through numerous Asgardians, devouring them and wading through all of their futile attacks. Forseti watched in fear from the castle, trying to find a place to hide from the incoming assault. Thor appeared before him, and as the giants broke into the castle, he easily decimated all 66 invaders without much effort. The God of Thunder found the entire ordeal boring, as he single-handedly saved Asgard.
- #30Zeus
Keys: Zeus · Secondary: Zeus, God Father of Cosmos (GFOC), King of the Gods
Zeus is a prominent deity and the leader of the Greek Pantheon. He's the chairman of the Gods' Council and the leader of the Gods Fighters, as he's the one choosing which figther goes next. He is also often referred to as the "God Father of Cosmos" SPECIES: God AGE: Eons GENDER: Male PANTHEON: Greek Pantheon RELATIVES: Kronos (Father) Rhea (Mother) Hera (Wife) Hades (Older brother) Adamas (Older brother) Poseidon (Older brother) Ares (Son) Hermes (Son) Heracles (Adopted son) Appearance: Zeus takes the form of a frail old man of low stature and sunken eyes. He has a small tuft of spiky grey hair on the very top of his head, thick eyebrows and a goatee. Zeus dons a classical Greek clothing, a white sash tied to his waist and a piece of cloth covering his entire lower half. Sometimes, Zeus can also drastically increase his muscle mass, turning himself disproportionate at will. In his Adamas form, Zeus' height increases exponentially, and his muscles turn inside out, making his entire body stretched beyond what is normally possible. Personality: When addressing his fellow Gods, Zeus is extremely calm and authoritative while possessing a very formal and wise disposition. However, his true nature is that of a maniac individual obsessed with fighting, taking sadistic pleasure in crushing his opponents with all might, his hunger for battles made him feel excited at the possibility of a betrayal by Brunhilde and allowed Adamas to stage a rebellion, all for a chance of another war. Like most Gods, Zeus holds his own kind to a superior and extremely high standard, always expecting them to win no matter the odds, and seething with anger when they lose to Humans. Zeus is also an eccentric individual, having random exaggerated emotional outbursts, breaking into a dance at the start of the second round of Ragnarok in front of everyone present, even being called the most shameful God by Hermes. Furthermore, Zeus can be very prideful and arrogant, declaring himself to be the "God Father of Cosmos" and confidently remarking that he would destroy Adam. However, after several rounds of Ragnarok passed, Zeus became more humble, even acknowledging Humanity's strength. He is also extremely faithful and confident in those of the Greek Pantheon. Despite Poseidon Abilities: Overall Abilities: Zeus is possibly the strongest God in existence, as he is constantly referred to as the "Chairman or King of the Gods" and the "final boss" by Göll. Zeus managed to defeat his father, a Titan and the personification of time, Kronos. Afterwards, after winning the Titanomachy Tournament, he was crowned the mightiest God and became the ruler of the cosmos and Heaven. Zeus could even strike fear into other Supreme Gods, like Shiva. Finally, Zeus was claimed by Heimdall to have nigh-omnipotent power, using the power of creation at his own whim, returning anything that doesn't suit his fancy back to the void. He also viewed the Big Bang as a thrill and could destroy Heaven in his final form. Physical Abilities: Godly Strength: Zeus possesses unfathomable physical strength, even in his weakest form, Zeus' physical strength allows him to easily kill a dragon with one arm before destroying a large chunk of the ground with just a small, wooden gavel. Zeus, with one hand, was able to hold down Shiva and stop Heracles' and Ares' punches. He can also turn himself into an extremely muscular version of himself in order to become stronger when necessary. Godly Speed & Reflexes: Zeus can effortlessly unleash punches and kicks faster than the eye can register at 0.01 seconds, while multiplying the previous speed by 10 with every punch, eventually reaching 0.00000001 seconds. He can even release an attack that is possibly faster than time itself if he desires. However, although he is one of the fastest participants of Ragnarok, Zeus' godly reflexes only allow him to dodge attacks that take down to 0.01 seconds to perform without receiving a direct hit, having failed to avoid attacks launched within a smaller time-frame. Godly Durability: Zeus' body is far more durable than that of an average deity, being tough enough to allow the god to witness the Big Bang and only consider it a spectacle. During his match, Adam copied multiple of Zeus attacks and used against him, however despite them being powerful enough to easily defeat most opponents, Zeus was able to withstand them while suffering minimal injuries. In two separate occasions, Zeus was hit with The Fist That Surpassed Time, an attack so fast that is possibly transcends time, yet even after being hit by such powerful technique Zeus only suffered from a broken jaw and teeth the first time and a broken neck the second time. While in his Adamas state, Zeus' body is described as being virtually indestructible, allowing him to take Adam's attacks without suffering noticeable damage. Godly Endurance & Stamina: Zeus has immense endurance and stamina, being able to keep up with powerful beings like Adam and Kronos. He also possesses immense pain tolerance, managing to stay conscious after having his jaw and teeth broken by Kronos, having his neck broken by Adam and even fixing his own broken neck, with his bare hands, in order to continue fighting. While using his Adamas form, Zeus' body is put under extreme strain, to the point that his flesh is almost ripped to shreds, yet despite the immense pain from having his body being destroyed from the inside, Zeus is able to hold the transformacion for multiple minutes. However, his pain tolerance is not as strong as other characters like Lü Bu or Heracles, since he has shown to react to pain multiple times. Muscle Control: Zeus has shown to be capable of controlling his own muscles. He can expand them to become more muscular and massive, shrink them to become smaller and even compress them in order to use his Adamas transformation. Besides that, Zeus can also expand his muscles in just specific parts of his body, like an arm or both legs. Fighting Abilities: Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Zeus is very skilled in the art of unarmed combat. He was able to defeat his father, Kronos, with just his fists and has managed to develop multiple unarmed combat techniques which have also allowed him to defeat Adam, who has been described as being naturally gifted in hand-to-hand combat. He has more than one millennium worth of experience and has fought in countless battles, including the Titanomachy and the Gigantomachy. Supernatural Abilities: Semi-immortality: As a God, Zeus is incapable of dying due to old age. He is a lot older than most gods, being older than the Big Bang itself (making him over 13.8 billion years old). While for unknown reasons, Zeus appears to have aged considerably during this period of time, looking more aged than his elder siblings. Divine Physiology: As a God, Zeus possesses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary Human (being stronger than any other God or Titan). His body cannot be harmed by mortal weapons; however, he can still be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. Menacing Aura: While on his Adamas form, Zeus' aura causes the primal instinct of every nearby living being to tremble in fear. The fear induced by Zeus in this state is so great that it made Adam raise his guard on pure instinct. Divine Blood: Zeus' blood, also known as Ambrosia, is capable of bestowing divine power to those who drink it. If the human who drinks it is a true hero, that person will be granted an immortal body. However, should anyone else drink his blood, that person will receive instant death. Time Manipulation: While activating The Fist That Surpassed Time, it was shown that Zeus was able to manipulate time, and use it as an advantage for his attack to not be seen by his opponents. This power grants him control over the flow of time, enabling him to slow it down, if not outright halt it. While his exact age is unknown, Zeus has mentioned that he was present during the Big Bang. This would mean that Zeus is at least over 13,800,000,000 years old. Zeus' entrance during the second round bears a resemblance to Japanese professional wrestler Shinsuke Nakamura's, with both performing similar dance moves and having a violinist accompany them. Zeus is the sky and thunder god in ancient Greek religion. Eons ago, Zeus fought against the Titans in the Titanomachy Tournament. The details of that tournament are unknown, but Zeus managed to progress unscathed until the final round, where he fought against his father, Kronos. During the fight, Kronos used The Fist That Surpassed Time and landed a blow to Zeus' chin before Zeus defeated him. As he spat out blood and teeth, Zeus thought about how he was unable to see Kronos' last attack before he killed his father by smashing his head, acknowledging him as a great fighter. After he defeated Kronos, Zeus became the Chief God of the Greek Pantheon, despite being the youngest of Kronos' sons. Gigantomachy: After Zeus won the Titanomachy Tournament and took his father's position as Chief God, the Primordial Goddess, Gaia, who was unable to accept that outcome, started a war against the Greek Gods with her spawn, the Giants. It would later be known as the Gigantomachy. As the Greek Gods fought against the Giants, Zeus met up with his brothers in a room in Olympus Palace, along with Hermes and Ares. Zeus asked Hermes how the situation looked and Hermes admitted it didn't seem like it would be favorable for them. After Ares insisted to Zeus that the strength of the Giants was incomprehensible, Adamas leaned back in his chair and wondered what Zeus would do, mockingly addressing him as their Chief God. While Hades and Poseidon stayed silent, Zeus' muscles ripped through his military uniform as he said all they had to was pummel the enemy with all their being. After ordering Hermes to relay what he said to all Greek Gods, Zeus headed out for battle and was excited as it had been a long time since he'd been in a real, hardcore fight. Later on, Zeus led all the Greek Gods (except for Hades, who went down to Helheim to stop the Titans from joining the battle) against the Giants. Eventually, the Greek Gods defeated the Giants and Zeus stood over the corpse of the Giants as they all celebrated their victory. At one point after the Gigantomachy, Zeus became the ruler of all of Heaven. He then learned from Hermes that Adamas, who didn't like Zeus becoming ruler, was plotting to overthrow him using the Titans and Giants, along with the monster, Typhon. Zeus found the idea of a new war exciting and decided to let Adamas do as he please. However, the plot fell apart once Adamas was "killed" by Poseidon.

He rules all oceans with an iron fist, earning him the titles of "Tyrant of the Ocean" (大海の暴君タイラントオブオーシャン, Tairanto obu Ōshan) and "Zeus Enalios" (海のゼウスゼウス・エナリオス, Zeusu Enariosu; lit. "Zeus of the Seas"); his older brother, Hades, has also referred to him as the "King of the Seas" SPECIES: God AGE: Eons GENDER: Male PANTHEON: Greek Pantheon RELATIVES: Kronos (Father) Rhea (Mother) Hades (Older brother) Adamas (Older brother) Zeus (Younger brother) Ares (Nephew) Hermes (Nephew) --- In laws --- Hera (Sister in law) Heracles (Adopted nephew) Appearance: Poseidon takes the form of a tall and muscular man, his face usually completely apathetic and devoid of any emotion, with golden-blonde hair as well as light blue irises and black pupils. He donned an ornamental patterned golden choker and dark blue clothing with a golden border that covers the entire upper half of his body, revealing his abdomen and chest. Around his biceps, he wore a pair of golden rings. Poseidon wore a pair of seaweed-colored fingerless gloves, with a blue band on his wrists, whilst around his waist was a white waistcoat with golden circular patterns, one which split in two at the front with a single cloth going down like a loincloth. Additionally, beneath the waistcoat were a pair of baggy pants that matched the cloth on his arms, tucked into a pair of seaweed-colored boots with designs similar to those of ancient ruins in the ocean depths. He was always seen carrying around his primary weapon, a highly stylized trident as long as his body. Personality: Poseidon is a fearsome, haughty, and cold-hearted individual, shown when he mercilessly killed his older brother, Adamas. Like many other Gods, Poseidon despised Humanity and considered them nothing but filth. Poseidon is also a very taciturn and arrogant individual, viewing himself as perfect, saying that he doesn't need any supporters, even calling other Gods "useless bottom feeders" after glaring at them, insulting his older brother and later Kojiro Sasaki,[4] even bitterly cursing him with his last breath as he died. His personality is what Hades believes makes Poseidon the person most worthy of the title of "King" more than any other God, even more than himself. Despite his cold exterior, Poseidon does possess some emotion, especially when it comes to his brothers. Though he dealt him a fatal wound, Poseidon chose to let Adamas live and didn't mind when he was healed by Beelzebub and continued living under a different name in Helheim. Poseidon also seems to care for his eldest brother, Hades; after witnessing Hades defeat the Titans by himself in order to protect his younger siblings, Poseidon uncharacteristically smiled and called Hades "Brother", which he'd never done before. Even before seeing this, Poseidon expressed worry for Hades when he heard his brother went down to Helheim alone to deal with the Titans. This love also extends to Adamas, choosing only to cut him in half and letting Hades and Hermes retrived the injured god for surgery. Abilities: Overall Abilities: Poseidon is considered to be the most fearsome among the Gods, so much so that even other Gods were afraid of invoking his wrath. He effortlessly defeated and mortally wounded the God of Conquest and his older brother, Adamas, in a single blow. He's a son of Kronos and a possible participant of the Titanomachy, having complete control over the ocean and being powerful enough to be compared to the Supreme Greek God, Zeus. Physical Abilities: Godly Strength: Poseidon possesses phenomenal physical strength, displayed when he effortlessly impaled a God and even flinging him across the room with so much force that a large indent was left on the wall with nothing but a swing with his trident. Poseidon's strength was further demonstrated throughout his fight with Kojiro Sasaki with each and every one of his swings capable of impaling and annihilating Kojiro. Poseidon managed to break Kojiro's divine weapon in two effortlessly and was even strong enough to crush his own arm. Godly Speed & Reflexes: Poseidon displayed unfathomable movement speed, shown when he deflected and dodged all of Kojiro Sasaki's sword swings effortlessly. As the battle progressed, Poseidon started moving more seriously, his speed easily being able to overwhelm Kojiro, moving faster than he can anticipate or register. His trident techniques are also so fast that they create afterimages. Godly Stamina & Endurance: Poseidon possesses godly stamina and endurance, cutting him all across his body, Poseidon remained calm and didn't even seem fazed in the slightest. Poseidon's immense pain tolerance was also demonstrated when he continued to fight on, even after losing both his arms, only being put down after finally being quartered by the wandering swordsmen's final attack. Fighting Abilities: Master Spearman: Poseidon wields his trident with godly skill and proficiency, being able to deliver dozens of blows in the blink of an eye. He also displayed great dexterity in utilizing his trident in combat, delivering powerful blows incessantly and accurately. Similar to Adamas, Poseidon appears to be capable of materializing his weapon out of thin air. Supernatural Abilities: Divine Physiology: As a God, Poseidon possesses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary Human. His body can not be harmed by mortal weapons. However, he can still be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. Semi-immortality: As a God, Poseidon is incapable of dying due to old age. He is very ancient, being older than the Big Bang (making him over 13.8 billion years old). Hydrokinesis: As the "God of the Seas", Poseidon possesses absolute control over divine water. During his entrance into the arena, Poseidon stomped his foot, causing the water to part and allowing him to walk up to the stadium. However, whether or not he can use this ability for combative purposes is left unknown as he never demonstrated any kind of water-based techniques. Techniques: Amphitrite (Wrathful Wave) (怒れる波濤アムピトリテ, Amupitorite): Poseidon uses his trident to unleash incessant thrusts at blinding speeds in a circular pattern. Chione Tyro Demeter (Divine Lightning Falling into the Rough Sea) (荒海に降る神雷キオネ・テュロ・デーメテール, Kione Tyuro Dēmetēru): Poseidon leaps into the air above his opponent, unleashing an endless barrage of trident thrusts onto them from above akin to lightning in a thunderstorm. He unleashes them at such fast speeds that countless afterimages are created. Medusa Alope Demeter (Great Flood of 40 Days and 40 Nights) (四十日四十夜の大洪水メドゥーサ・アロペ・デーメテール, Medūsa Arope Dēmetēru): Poseidon unleashes trident strikes that combine his divine might and godly speed, attacking from every possible direction. The speed is such that it creates a dome of afterimages surrounding his opponent. Equipment: Trident (三叉槍トライデント, Toraidento): A large spear-like weapon with three sharp prongs at its end, the symbol of Poseidon's dominion over the seas. The tip of the trident is silver in color, and a blue and purple fin-like covering can be found near the tip and the bottom. The handle of the trident has a dark blue color. Poseidon is also the god of storms, earthquakes, and horses in ancient Greek religion. Poseidon's attacks were named after female figures/goddesses in Greek mythology whom the god Poseidon had relationships with: Amphitrite was the goddess and queen of the sea as Poseidon's main consort and wife. With Poseidon she is the mother of Triton, Rhodos and Benthesikyme. Chione was a goddess of snow and daughter of the god of the north wind Boreas; Poseidon loved her, and she bore him a son named Eumolpus. Tyro was an Elean princess who later became the Queen of Iolcus. With Poseidon she is the mother of twins Pelias and Neleus. Medusa, one of the three Gorgon sisters and originally a very beautiful maiden, whom Poseidon raped inside the temple of Athena; furious over the sacrilege, Athena punished the beautiful girl by transforming her into the gorgon monster, later killed by Perseus. With her Poseidon had children Pegasus and Chrysaor. Alope was a mortal woman, the daughter of Cercyon, known for her great beauty. With her Poseidon had a son Hippothoon. Demeter was a goddess of agriculture that was the sister and one time lover of Poseidon. With her Poseidon had children Despoina and Arion. Gigantomachy: After Zeus won the Titanomachy Tournament, he became the Chief God of the Greek Pantheon in Kronos' place. The Primordial Goddess, Gaia, refused to accept that outcome and led her own spawn, the Giants, in all-out war with the Greek Gods. This event would be known as the Gigantomachy. As the battle raged on, Poseidon met up with his brothers in Olympus Palace to discuss what to do, along with Hermes and Ares. Hermes reported the situation was unfavorable for them and Adamas took this chance to mockingly address Zeus as their Chief God, wondering what he'll do. Poseidon stayed silent, along with Hades. Zeus simply decided on pummelling the enemy and headed out for battle. The brothers then began going through their seperate exits. However, Poseidon noticed a soldier of Hades appeared and was telling him something. When Hades began walking away, Poseidon asked him what was wrong but Hades insisted he should pay him no heed. Poseidon then joined the rest of the Greek Gods in the battle against the Giants, which resulted in their victory. While the other Greek Gods cheered, Poseidon couldn't find Hades. He then approached the soldier that he saw with Hades earlier and asked him where his brother was. Bowing, the soldier admitted to Poseidon that Hades went down into Helheim all alone to stop the Titans, who had broken out of Tartarus. Worried, Poseidon went into Helheim and came the sight of Hades sitting on top of a broken column, whistling to himself, with the corpses of many Titans strewn about. Hades stopped whistling when he saw Poseidon and guessed they won if he's here. Poseidon criticised Hades for being far too reckless by sending all his men to assist them and running off alone. Hades said he only did what was right as the elder brother by watching over the backs of his younger brothers. Poseidon brought up the fact that he could've been defeated but Hades said he won't be. He vowed to Poseidon that he will not lose to anyone since, as the elder brother, he shan't be defeated. As Poseidon stayed silent, Hades fell on his back and supposed he was a bit too reckless this time around. Going up the column, Poseidon insisted he would not thank Hades before offering his hand. Uncharacteristically smiling, Poseidon called Hades "Brother". Hades then took his hand as he noted that this was the first time Poseidon ever called him that. Adamas' Betrayal: When Adamas attempted to overthrow Zeus, Poseidon effortlessly slew him and erased his memory from history. Hermes, who witnessed the incident, started a rumor that there was a traitor among the Greek Gods. Only a handful of Gods know about the incident and why Adamas was removed from history. It was stated by Hermes that Poseidon could have killed Adamas if he truly wanted to. The remains of Adamas were recovered by Hermes on Hades' orders and sent them to Beelzebub, who gave him a robotic body. Relationships: Hades: Poseidon seemed to respect his elder brother. While he would still act cold and distant towards Hades, he did care for him. This could be seen from his reaction to Hades fighting the Titans alone, immediately rushing down to Helheim to check on his brother. While he chastised him for doing something so reckless, he still smiled and referred to Hades as his brother, something he hadn't done up until that point. Poseidon also seemed to take inspiration from Hades into his own fighting style, mimicking Hades' song. Adamas: Poseidon did not have a high opinion of Adamas. The two seemed to have a distant relationship, with Poseidon never once looking Adamas in the eye for his entire life until he mutilated him. Poseidon called Adamas pathetic for relying on his army and other Olympians to take down Zeus, and did not hesitate to fight back when Adamas rushed at him. However, Poseidon did have some consideration for his brother, as he chose not to completely kill Adamas and did not mind when Adamas started leading a new life, as Adamantine. Zeus: Very little is known about Poseidon's relationship with Zeus. They likely weren't very close, as Zeus did not seem as affected by his death as he was with Hades'. Poseidon respected Zeus' power, as he had no qualms with him ascending to the throne, and did not allow Adamas to threaten his status. Hermes: Poseidon was on good terms with Hermes. Despite Hermes' sly behavior, he talked to him casually and asked him to erase Adamas from history. He did not seem to care about Hermes spying on him the entire time or saving Adamas under orders from Hades.

Keys: Shiva · Secondary: Strongest God of Destruction, Cosmos' Bhairava, Peak of Svarga, Greatest Brawler in Heaven
SPECIES: God AGE: 4000+ GENDER: Male PANTHEON: Hindu Pantheon ORIGIN: Svarga (Heaven) RELATIVES: Parvati (First wife) Kali (Second wife) Durga (Third wife) Ganesha (Son) Shiva is a prominent deity and the leader of the Hindu Pantheon. He is a Chief God and known as the "Cosmos' Bhairava" (宇宙の破壊神バイラヴァ, Uchū no Bairava), the "Strongest God of Destruction" (最強の破壊神, Saikyō no Hakaishin), and the greatest brawler in Heaven. Appearance: Shiva is a tall, muscular man shown to have four arms and five golden eyes, with only three of them open when he's calm. He has indigo skin and black hair. He wears a golden bandana and baggy golden trousers equipped with a blue sash. Also, he has blue tattoos on his wrists & fingers, which he had inherited from his best friend, Rudra. Personality: Shiva is introduced as a carefree, proud, and powerful God. However, he has shown violent tendencies, even against Zeus himself but stood down in respect of his senior. This is further reinforced when he boldly became shocked by what his opponent thinks of Ragnarok, stating that it is the best event. In his youth, Shiva was far more lazy and easygoing. Almost every serious thing he did, was through following his best friend, Rudra, while he actually enjoyed to sleep and dance, so much that he wished to become a God of Dancing. However, he did say he always has fun with Rudra, so he is fine following after him. Once he and Rudra finished fighting their way to the peak of Svarga, he shows a lot of compassion towards Rudra, trying to change the subject to not fight him and begging Rudra to give up so he wouldn't have to harm him further. In the end, Shiva tried to pretend to act defeated so he could stop the fight and make Rudra happy to think he achieved his dream. However, when Rudra scolded him to give it his all and made him see he really got to the peak of Svarga, he finally accepted the title of leader of their pantheon. He states in his round that he won't lose to anybody and that he isn't going to let Rudra and the people cheering on him down. Vishnu does comment that Shiva is always reckless while Rudra replies by stating that while he (Shiva) is nicer than anyone, once he get into a fight, he enjoys talking with his fist more than anybody else. Varuna also comments on how Shiva doesn't stop smiling, no matter how many times he gets hit, and Agni states that Shiva doesn't know the meaning of restraint. Abilities: Overall Abilities: Shiva is described as being the greatest brawler and strongest god of destruction in all of heaven. He managed to defeat all of the other Hindu gods, including Rudra, who is the second strongest god in the Hindu Pantheon. Physical Abilities: Godly Strength: During his battle with Rudra, their clashes sent massive shock waves throughout Svarga and the sound of their punches echoed through the entire land. As said by the other Gods, Shiva has great strength. He managed to grab a punch and a knee from Raiden and send him flying across the arena with his 4 arms, hitting him in the abdomen and making him fall back after the blow. After recovering from Raiden's headbutt, Shiva quickly delivered a barrage of punches with his 4 arms that made Raiden retreat backwards, with the pressure of his punches being compared to cannon fire and causing his opponent several injuries. After having one of his arms crushed, and deciding to fight more seriously, Shiva's punches were able to blow away Raiden, even with his guard up. Godly Speed & Reflexes: Shiva managed to block Raiden's punch right after being hit hard on the head and also blocked his knee after taking another blow to the head, thus already attacking after defending himself. Shiva, after recovering from Raiden's headbutt, quickly counter attacked with a serie of punches that made Raiden retreat backwards, who had difficulty reacting to all the blows, letting Shiva land one on his head and one on his ribs. After using the Hidden Treasure of Svarga, Shiva's speed increased to the point of leaving multiple afterimages, allowing him to evade Raiden's attacks and overwhelm him with multi-hit attacks. Godly Durability: According to Shiva, the toughest part of his body is his head, which he claims is solid as rock. Shiva took two full blows from Raiden on the head and quickly recovered after spitting some blood. He endured a headbutt from Raiden, injuring him as a result of their clash. Godly Endurance & Stamina: Shiva has displayed immense pain tolerance, being capable of staying conscious and continue fighting even after losing three of his arms. During his fight with Rudra, the sweat that flowed from their duel became a heavy rain that rained down upon the entire land, yet despite their fight possibly lasting for hours, Shiva showed no signs of dehydration by the end of it. Thermal Resistance: Shiva is able to dance until his body starts to generate enough heat to burn the flesh of his opponents. Despite the heat being powerful enough to damage Shiva's own body, he is still able to continue without showing any sings of pain. After using Tandava Karma, Shiva's own body was set on fire and nearby objects started to burn away, yet despite all the damage that he took from this process he was still able to survive the intense heat. Four Arms: Thanks to his four arms, Shiva possesses far greater dexterity in combat then most people; defending himself from oncoming strikes with one set of arms whilst attacking his opponents with the other pair. Fighting Abilities: Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Shiva is extremely skilled in the art of unarmed combat. He was able to defeat 1116 Gods with nothing but his fists, including Rudra, his partner that helped him defeat 1115 out of the 1116 Hindu Gods. With his four arms, he can use moves and techniques that can not be performed by most Gods. Even having lost three of his arms, he was still able to fight on par with Raiden. Expert Dancer: Shiva is also a very skilled dancer, capable of dancing in the rhythm of the cosmos. By implementing dancing in his fighting style, he can fight more effectively and make his movements more unpredictable. He also has multiple techniques which involve dancing and by using said techniques he managed to defeat a great number of powerful gods. Supernatural Abilities Semi-Immortality: As a God, Shiva has a limitless lifespan and will not die of old age. Divine Physiology: As a God, Shiva possesses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary Human. His body cannot be harmed by mortal weapons, however, he can still be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. Pyrokinesis: Shiva can produce powerful heat and flames. The heat is capable of burning nearby objects and turning them into ash, however, he is not completely immune as the heat also harms his body. Techniques: Hidden Treasure of the Indian World of Gods (印度神界の秘宝, Indo Shinkai no Hihō) - Known as "Shiva's War Dance" (シヴァの必殺武踊, Shiva no Hissatsu Buyō), this martial dance is Shiva's trump card and can only be performed by him. By dancing to the rhythm of the cosmos, Shiva is able to attack his opponent with far greater speed and power while confusing them. Its unpredictable rhythm allows Shiva to continuously attack his opponent with multi-hit attacks while his opponent is under the impression of being attacked by many, many enemies all at once. Tandava (Samsara Rebirth) (輪廻武踊ターンダヴァ, Tāndava) - Due to his intense dancing, Shiva's body becomes super-heated and starts to combust, which increases the power of his attacks and burns his opponent. Krittivasa (Flaming Tiger Claw Dance) (虎爪炎舞クリッティヴァーサス, Kurittivāsasu) - Shiva jumps into the air and brings down a powerful kick while simultaneously combusting his feet, slicing and burning his opponent. The flames created from the kick is hot enough to cauterize the flesh of Raiden, who had Humanity's strongest muscles. Tandava Karma (Samsara War Dance - Ashes) (輪廻武踊灰塵ターンダヴァ・カルマ, Tāndava Karuma) - Shiva's ultimate secret technique. By forcing his heart to beat faster, Shiva is able to directly stimulate his atman (spirit), resulting in an incredible increase in power and speed. Additionally, his body combust and burns at a higher level than when using Tandava, to the point of burning his surroundings, and objects far away from him to ashes. In this state, all his blows become hot enough to char and burn away flesh and was burning away the powerful muscles of Raiden. There is a drawback to this technique however, as Shiva himself will eventually burn out if he uses the technique for too long. Deva Loka (Final Act Flame Dance) (大切デーヴァ炎舞ローカ, Dēva Rōka) - A powerful spinning heel kick used by Shiva under his Tandava Karma state. The kick was so powerful and burning hot that it managed to overpower Raiden's most powerful move, Yatagarasu, and rip his arm in half. Past: Shiva met Rudra in his childhood, since then, the two remained close. At one point, Rudra asked Shiva what he planned to do in the future. Shiva expressed his desire to become the "King of Dance" with confidence. Rudra, being Shiva's best friend, stated that it's the typical thing for him to do. Rudra proceeded to ask Shiva to promise to not laugh, making it seem like he was about to say something either humorous or important. Shiva promised, though as Rudra stated that he had a dream, he burst starts bursting out laughing, mocking Rudra for having a dream whilst comparing him to a human. The frustrated Rudra hit Shiva on his head for breaking his promise, before continuing his talk - he uttered that his dream was to stand on top of the gods of India's kingdom. He then asked Shiva whether or not if he wanted to try doing it with him, who then immediately agreed with Rudra's proposal, starting their ultimate journey of seeing the landscape up on the summit of the kingdom; a view yet to be attained by any other gods. On the way there, many doubted their victory, calling them idiots and inferior gods. However, those words were proven to be mere bluffs as they gradually defeated the gods there. The mockery turned into words of respect, as they continued to advanced through their goal. The more they progressed, the fiercer the fights became and the stronger the gods were. But still, the two defeated them no matter how paramount they were. Their innumerable gushes of blood finally paid off, they finally eliminated all 1115 gods of the Indian Realm - now, the thing that was left for them to do was to ascend to the peak of Svarga. Shiva magnified the panorama, calling Rudra to also take a peek at the phenomenon of a view. Rudra, however, notified Shiva that there could only be a single lord at the peak, and not two. Shiva was saddened by the fact, in spite of that, he could not decline reality and decided to brawl with Rudra. The sounds of their fists echoed through India, as their sweats flowed as a heavy rain that covered the land. Despite the tremendous fun they were having, they knew that they both shared the same pain. After an immensely long amount of time, Rudra started showing signs of exhaustion. This made Shiva pity him, as he begged many times with his wits for Rudra to no longer get up and give up for his own sake. Regardless of that, Rudra had yet to concede defeat and tried to charge towards Shiva and attack him, knowing he'd fail but doing so regardless. As Shiva did not have the will for his dear friend draw his last breath by his own hands, he tried to declare his loss. Right before he could so, Rudra gave up and admitedt his defeat. Confused, Shiva questioned Rudra, just for him to get shouted at. He started weeping and asked Rudra about his dream, and that he did not want him to abandon it. Rudra encouraged him to not cry, telling him that he is now above 1116 gods. He then asked Shiva if he'd rule over India, to which Shiva said that there was no other way, and accepted the title of the Ruler of Svarga. Relationships: Rudra: Rudra is Shiva's closest friend, the two being together for years. Despite their personalities clashing often, the two held an unbreakable bond. Rudra was the only one Shiva would listen to, and was the reason he ascended to the Top of India to begin with. Rudra and Shiva also seemed to fight well together, the duo being able to demolish anyone in their way, and even besting the stronger Hindu gods like Vishnu and Brahma together. When they finally reached the top, Rudra forced Shiva to fight him. Shiva cared for his friend so much that he didn't want to fight him, praying for him to fall unconscious before he died fighting. Shiva decided to forfeit, not wanting to hurt his best friend anymore, but Rudra gave up before him. Rudra acknowledged Shiva's power, and told him to be the new leader of the Hindu pantheon. Shiva begrudgingly accepted, and the two parted ways. Rudra showed up to watch the fifth round of Ragnarok, unbeknownst to Shiva. In Shiva's moment of weakness, Rudra shouted out to his friend, reminding him of his burden and motivating him. Shiva was shocked that Rudra had returned, and with newfound strength defeated Raiden. After the fight he met Rudra in the entrance corridor, collapsing onto him in exhaustion. Parvati, Kali, Durga and Ganesha: While he did not directly interact with his wives and son, it can be inferred that he loves them dearly, smiling when he heard their cheers. Parvati, Kali and Durga also came to his room while he was still recovering to keep him company after Round 6, much to his gratitude. Hindu Pantheon: Shiva was the leader of the Hindu pantheon, but was also close friends with most of them. He asked them to chant his beat for his war dance, and grew stronger from their cheers. He fought with the pride of the 1116 gods of India inside of him, showing how close he was with them. In particular, Shiva was close with Vishnu, Brahma, Indra, Agni, Varuna and Rudra. Zeus: Shiva and Zeus have a rather rocky relationship. Shiva respects Zeus' authority, but will often butt heads with him when their interests clash. During Round 2, when Shiva was preparing to enter, Zeus stopped him. Initially Shiva thought he was there to cheer him on, but Zeus insisted on going instead of him. This enraged Shiva, who wanted to fight Zeus then and there. However, he let Zeus pass out of respect for his status. Shiva also wanted to fight during Round 4, but Zeus declines yet again, wanting payback for Poseidon's death. Shiva was again forced to accept. After Round 5, Zeus met Shiva in the entrance corridor. The two admitted that humanity was much stronger than they had expected, being back on good terms.
- #33Hades
Keys: Hades · Secondary: King of the Netherworld, The God Whom Other Gods Rely on the Most
SPECIES: God AGE: Eons GENDER: Male PANTHEON: Greek Pantheon ORIGIN: Unknown (Heaven, possibly) RELATIVES: Kronos (Father) Rhea (Mother) Adamas (Younger brother) Poseidon (Younger brother) Zeus (Younger brother) Ares (Nephew) Hermes (Nephew) -- In laws -- Hera (Sister in law) Heracles (Adopted nephew) Hades wasn't originally listed on the roster, but he volunteered to fill Buddha's spot following his betrayal in the previous round.
He's a prominent deity within the Greek Pantheon, being the "King of the Netherworld" (冥界の王, Meikai no Ō). Hades is also regarded as "The God Whom Other Gods Rely on the Most" (神が最も信頼する神, Kami ga Mottomo Shinrai suru Kami)[ Appearance: Much like his younger brother, Hades' appearance takes the form of a tall and handsome man with a specially-designed eyepatch on his right eye and long, stylish silver hair that spikes up at various spots on his head. He's shown with a leaf-like pattern tattooed across his forehead, a spiked choker necklace lined, and a bead-like earring on his left ear with many smaller piercings. His attire is shown to be quite formal and extravagant, with a collar that spans all the way to his upper chest, and badges decorated on the left and right side of his coat. Finally, he wears long white jeans and a pair of shoes filled with square patterns. Personality: Hades seems to be a very sophisticated and quiet individual while also being a very respected and feared God among the Greek Pantheon, seen when Ares immediately gives up his seat to him at his order and when all the Gods stood at attention upon him entering the arena. Hades explains that he helps Beelzebub for his brothers Hades admits that he loves his brothers very much and misses being with them Above all else, Hades seems to love all his younger brothers and firmly believes it is his own duty as the eldest to watch over his brothers' backs. Additionally, Hades also believes it is his duty as the eldest to avenge his younger brothers should they ever die, as evidenced by him coming up from Helheim into Valhalla to participate in the seventh round of Ragnarok, all to avenge Poseidon, who died in the third round. Despite being a king himself, Hades believes that Poseidon was the God most worthy of the title. Although Poseidon's death was the motivation for him to participate in the Ragnarok tournament, he didn't become blinded by rage and hatred; instead, he remained level-headed and kept his composure since the beginning of his match. In fact, the only time he lost control of himself was upon discovering that his opponent, Qin Shi Huang, shared a similar view on kingship to that of the late Poseidon, to which Hades' response was to burst out howling with laughter at the irony. He also grew to genuinely respect his opponent's skills as both a warrior and a fellow king. He called the curse that had plagued Qin Shi Huang all his life an unfortunate blight, implying that he would never inflict such a curse on an enemy. Abilities: Overall Abilities: As the ruler of Helheim and one of the many possible participants of the Titanomachy and Ragnarok, Hades is incredibly powerful. Like his younger brother, Poseidon, he is a fearsome and dangerous God in his own right, so much so that even other Gods were afraid of invoking his wrath. During the Gigantomachy, Hades defeated an entire army of Titans single handedly. Physical Abilities: Godly Strength: Although not as fast as his brothers, Hades makes up for it with being able to unleash a flurry of multiple heavy jabs with his bident that are so strong, it's implied Qin Shi Huang would've died instantly if they'd landed on him. The thrusts of his bident are so powerful that even the wind created from his attacks can slice opponents, which is how he draws first blood against Qin Shi Huang. Godly Speed & Reflexes: Hades displayed unfathomable movement speed and reaction time, which he can use to enhance his strength, allowing him to buildup a great deal of momentum within his attacks. For example, when Qin Shi Huang's Tortoise Ripple touched the blood on top of his skin, Hades managed to move and shifted the crux of his Qi before the attack could go through the blood completely. His bident techniques are so fast, that they can even create afterimages. Godly Stamina & Endurance: Hades possesses godly stamina and endurance. He single-handedly wiped out all the Titans that broke free from Tartarus in the Gigantomachy. In his fight with Qin Shi Huang, Hades received many of his own attacks turned back on him, a large portion of his left arm's skin was ripped off and his side was gouged out, yet he remained unfazed. Hades's immense pain tolerance and endurance for blood loss was also demonstrated when he continued to fight on with his chest slashed open by himself and losing lots of blood to feed his bident for its transformation. The bident continued seeping out his blood throughout the fight but Hades seemed to be completely fine with it and was only put down after Qin Shi Huang's final attack had pierced through his heart. Mental Abilities: Indomitable Will: Hades has displayed immense willpower. He is regarded as the most reliable God in Heaven, always putting his brothers' well-being over his own safety. He never once showed any signs of fear, even when facing an entire army of Titans by himself. Keen Intellect: Hades is an extremely intelligent individual. During his fight with Qin Shi Huang, Hades was able to quickly notice the Chinese Emperor's ability to disrupt Qi flow and he was also able to come up with a counter for this ability by covering himself with his own blood to be able to see his attack. Fighting Abilities Master Combatant: Hades is shown to possess a great deal of knowledge in regard to combat, as shown when he could predict Buddha's next move against Hajun, proving Zeus, Hermes and Ares wrong. He has more than one millennium worth of experience and was said to have fought in countless battles. Master Spearman: Hades wields his bident with a godly degree of skill and proficiency, being able to deliver countless blows in the blink of an eye. He also displayed great dexterity in utilizing his bident in combat, delivering powerful blows incessantly and accurately. According to Ares, Hades possesses complete control over his bident. Supernatural Abilities Semi-Immortality: As a God, Hades is incapable of dying from old age. He is very ancient, being older than the Big Bang, making him over 13.8 billion years old. Divine Physiology: As a God, Hades possesses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary Human as well as being impervious to harm by mortal weapons. However, he can still be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and strikes from Divine Weapons. Matter Manipulation: Hades is able to manipulate objects to an extent as demonstrated when he fused the remains of Poseidon's trident with that of his own bident, creating a newer, more powerful weapon. Divine Blood: Hades' blood, known as "Pluto Ichor" (プルートイーコール, Purūto Īkōru), is a special substance. Any Divine Weapon that his blood spills upon, will harbor Hades own life force, making them more powerful in the process. He displayed this ability in the Seventh Round when Hades transformed his bident into an even more powerful weapon called "Ichor: Desmos". However, using this ability slowly drains Hades' life force and can result in his death if overused. When Hades used this ability, Qin Shi Huang noticed that Hades' Qi started to flow through his bident, which eventually lead to his downfall. Techniques: Persephone Kallichoron (Hammer of the Netherworld) (冥府の銖槌ペルセポネ・カリコロン, Perusepone Karikoron): Hades jumps into the air and jabs his bident down at his opponent. The force is so strong, that it can be carried through the ground and the winds created from the jab could also be used as an form of attack to injure his opponent. Persephone Roa (Breaker of Storms) (嵐を破壊せし者ペルセポネ・ロア, Perusepone Roa): Hades charges at his opponent and thrusts his bident in a straightforward motion, creating an extremely strong spiral of wind around it as he does. Persephone Titan (Smasher of Earth) (大地を砕きし者ペルセポネ・ティターン, Perusepone Titān): Hades grips his bident by the polearm near the spearhead and raises it above his own head. From this unusual stance, Hades delivers a mighty downward swing while moving his grip down the polearm, all the way down to the end. He can apply more pressure by gripping the bident with both hands. The force of this attack was able to overwhelm Qin Shi Huang's Heavenly Hand of Defense and crush him into the ground, injuring his head quite a bit. Cornucopia (Horn of Fertility) (豊穣の角コルヌ・コピア, Korunu Kopia): Hades first swings his bident downwards at his opponent while firmly planting his feet into the ground. As his opponent blocks his bident, Hades proceeds to straighten out his left leg, raise up his right knee and lean back, causing him to knee his opponent's face. Ichor: Eos (Blood of Dawn) (血が導きし曙光イーコール・エーオース, Īkōru Ēōsu): Hades thrusts Desmos forward while charging at his opponent at the same time. The force of the attack was so strong, that it was able to break through Qin Shi Huang's Almighty Spaulders with ease and grievously injure his left shoulder. Equipment: Bident (二叉槍バイデント, Baidento): Hades' personal weapon that consists of two twisted silver prongs, a dark purple-bluish polearm and a silver rounded tip on the other end. Before the seventh round, Hades fused the remains of Poseidon's trident with his bident so he could fight alongside his fallen brother. After doing that, the bident gained a fin-like protrusion. Ichor: Desmos (Four-Blooded Spear of Destiny) (宿命の四血槍イーコール・デスモズ, Īkōru Desumosu): Hades' trump card. By infusing Pluto Ichor into his bident, Hades upgrades his weapon into Ichor: Desmos, which consists of two sharp prongs with a long blade running through the middle and they all converge into a bloodstained tip. While this version of the bident is powerful, since Pluto Ichor contains Hades' life force, if it were to run out, it would result in his death. The spear is also a living being due to being a part of Hades' body, which means it has a flow of Qi and a crux of Qi is formed with every attack. That is what made it vulnerable to Qin Shi Huang's Tortoise Ripple. The techniques which Hades used, were named after Greek mythological figures, objects, and concepts: Persephone was the wife of Hades and the goddess of Spring. Cornucopia is a horn that produce endless food and nourishment, which belongs to a goddess who protected Zeus when Zeus was still an infant. Ichor is the blood of the gods and immortals, and became part of ambrosia which Heracles had drank. Eos is the goddess of dawn. Gigantomachy: Following the events of the Titanomachy, Zeus inherited the throne from Kronos and became the new Chief God of the Greek Pantheon, despite being the youngest son. Unable to accept that, the Primordial Goddess, Gaia, led the Giants against the Greek Gods. This conflict would be known as the Gigantomachy. While the Greek Gods fought against the Giants with all they had, Hades attended a meeting with his brothers, Ares and Hermes. Hermes reported that things weren't looking good and Adamas mockingly asked Zeus what he was going to do, now that he was their Chief God. Both Hades and Poseidon stayed silent. Zeus decided the only thing to do was to pummel the enemy with all their being and headed off for battle. The rest all left through their own exits and Hades sighed after hearing Adamas grumble about Zeus pushing his luck. As soon as he went through his exit, Hades encountered one of his soldiers and asked what was wrong. The soldier reported to Hades that the Titans, who were subordinates of Kronos, have escaped Tartarus and are planning to invade from Helheim. Poseidon, still around, asked Hades if something was wrong but Hades walked off, assuring his brother he doesn't need to mind. While the rest of his brothers fought against the Giants, Hades went down into Helheim and confronted the Titans alone. He then fought against them all by himself and was forced to use his trump card. Eventually, after many Titans were slain, the rest retreated and Hades was left sitting atop a broken column, whistling while covered in blood. Soon after, Poseidon arrived and witnessed the bloody scene for himself. Hades assumed Poseidon coming down here means they won the Gigantomachy. Poseidon criticised Hades for being so reckless and going off on his own to face the Titans, leaving his soldiers with them. Hades insisted that he only did what was right as the elder brother by watching over his brothers' backs. Poseidon brought up that he could've been defeated but Hades said he won't be. Hades vowed to Poseidon that he will never lose to anyone as the elder brother. Hades then fell back and admitted he may have been a bit too reckless this time around. Scoffing, Poseidon said Hades would hear no thanks from him. He then extended his hand out and called Hades "Brother". That surprised the King of the Netherworld and as he took Poseidon's hand, Hades noted that was the first time Poseidon ever called him his brother. Fighting the Cursed God: One day, as he read a book in the king's chamber of his castle, Hades noticed that someone invaded and took out all of his guards. That someone then entered the chamber and Hades remarked on how the intruder being here didn't seem accidental. After putting his book down, Hades identified the intruder as Lord of the Flies, Beelzebub, and questioned him as to what he wanted. Beelzebub challenged Hades to a fight and Hades recalled hearing a rumor about a reckless fool who fell from Heaven, picking fights with the beasts of Helheim. Since that meant there were no need for words, Beelzebub readied his vibration blade, causing Hades to question if Beelzebub really wants to fight him when he's in such a raggedy state. That led Hades to ask if Beelzebub had a death wish and Beelzebub simply repeated his request. After calling him a troublesome guest, Hades took off his eyepatch and picked up his bident. He introduced himself as the King of Helheim before he and Beelzebub fought. The only injuries Hades sustained were part of his coat and his right sleeve being ripped before he launched an attack that caused Beelzebub to be sent flying out of the chamber, all the way until the castle walls. As Beelzebub slowly got up, Hades reappeared and Beelzebub praised his strength before crying about this meant he could finally die. This prompted Hades to ask Beelzebub exactly why he wanted to die so badly and Beelzebub showed him by trying to stab himself, only for the tattoo on his chest to stop him. Beelzebub explained to Hades that he thought the tattoo was a curse given to him by Lilith because he believed she wanted him to live and suffer for killing her. Beelzebub begged Hades to end this curse but Hades immediately pointed out that the tattoo wasn't a curse: it was a prayer. Since Lilith wished for Beelzebub to keep living, Hades instructed him to ask himself how to live rather than how to die. Hades told him to give what he said another thought and as he made his way back into the castle, Hades assured Beelzebub that he'd be waiting for him if Beelzebub still wanted to die. As he waited for Beelzebub, Hades kept the Staff of Apomyius on him at all times since it suited Beelzebub's abilities. Some time later, Hades was playing chess with a cockatiel in his chamber when Beelzebub appeared. Hades wondered if Beelzebub wanted to be killed by him and Beelzebub said no. Hades then assumed that he wanted to keep living but Beelzebub said no to that too. Beelzebub divulged to Hades what conclusion he came to: he wanted to live as bitterly, wretchedly, repulsively and savagely just so he can die as horrifically as possible. This initially stunned Hades before he laughed out loud. Hades sighed about how Beelzebub was such a bothersome fellow before admitting he liked how that sounded. He then gave him the Staff of Apomyius since Beelzebub won't go down so easily with that before promising to see to Beelzebub's continued suffering and savage demise. Beelzebub asked Hades why he had any concern about him and Hades admitted it was because he was missing his younger brothers, who are quite bothersome, and Beelzebub reminded him of them. As he left, Beelzebub said that Hades was quite a bothersome God himself, much to Hades' confusion. Adamas' Betrayal: Upset over how Zeus became the ruler of Heaven, Adamas plotted a rebellion. To help, Adamas freed the remaining Titans and Giants and even bent the grisly Typhon to his will. Adamas also enlisted the help of Hermes, who convinced a number of the other 13 Gods of Olympus to defect, along with 49 members of Zeus' council. To seal Zeus' fate, Adamas visited Poseidon's palace and tried to convince his younger brother to help him. However, Poseidon was only disappointed and cold-heartedly stated that Adamas defiled everything the Gods stood for. An angered Adamas tried to attack Poseidon but Poseidon grievously injured him with just one thrust of his trident. He then threw Adamas' body aside and left. Having watched the whole ordeal secretly, Hermes would soon contact Hades and inform him on what happened to Adamas. To save Adamas' life, Hades ordered Hermes to take him to Beelzebub, who proceeded to heal Adamas by reconstructing his body into a cyborg. Since Poseidon had Adamas' name erased from history, he continued to live under a different name, Adamantine, in Helheim. Relationships: Poseidon: Out of all of his brothers, Poseidon seemed to be the one Hades cared the most about. The two had a good relationship, with Hades not minding Poseidon's harsh demeanor and talking to him casually despite his fearsome reputation. He was shocked when Poseidon called him his brother, noting that was the first time he had ever done so. During Ragnarok, Poseidon's death was the reason Hades left Helheim and came up to Valhalla to join the Gods' roster. Hades merged Poseidon's trident with his own bident and fought Qin Shi Huang in memory of his late brother and the promise he made with him; that he'd never lose to anyone when fighting for his family. Hades' fighting style bore a striking resemblance to Poseidon's, as well as his singing and mannerisms after cutting himself open. Poseidon's outstretched hand was also the last thing Hades saw before his death. Adamas: Hades was on good terms with Adamas, despite his wanting to overthrow Zeus. Adamas held great love and respect for Hades, and even felt comfortable working with him in Helheim. While the two never interacted directly in the series, Hades was the one who ordered Hermes to save Adamas, and was the one who contacted Beelzebub to revive him. Hades also apologized to Adamas before his death. Zeus: Hades and Zeus had a good relationship, though seemingly not one as close as Hades had with Poseidon. The two got along well and Hades held unconditional love for his youngest brother just like the rest of his family. Hades apologized to Zeus before his death. Beelzebub: Hades was good friends with Beelzebub. Despite the latter's fearsome reputation and murdering of his friends, Hades still pitied him and decided to help Beelzebub live a fulfilling life. He initially listened to Beelzebub's request to kill him, but before delivering the final blow, he decided against it after hearing about Lilith's curse. He urged Beelzebub to search himself for the meaning of her prayer, and that if he still wanted to die, he would be waiting. When Beelzebub eventually did return, Hades was amused by his new approach to life: to live as horribly and corruptly as possible so that he would receive an equally painful death. He provided Beelzebub with the Staff of Apomyius, hoping that the now much stronger Beelzebub would have a much harder time dying. When asked by Beelzebub why he cared about him so much, Hades stated that he had three bothersome younger brothers, and just when he began to miss them, Beelzebub had wandered into his palace. Hades outlawed the use of Original Sin of the Netherworld — No. 0: Chaos, due to the destruction it caused and due to the effects it had on Beelzebub. When Adamas was gravely injured by Poseidon, Hades contacted Beelzebub to save his brother, showing the trust he had in him. Hades' death also had a large impact on Beelzebub, as he'd been his only friend after his other friends and lover were killed by his Demonic Destrudo. Ares and Hermes: Hades was on good terms with Ares and Hermes. He interacted very little with Hermes, but he seemed to tolerate him and value his presence. Hades often made fun of Ares, and seemed to scare the God of War too. However, Ares still looked up to his uncle and found him to be the most reliable God.
- #34Apollo
Keys: Apollo · Secondary: Sun God, Phoebus, Boxing God, God of Philosophy, God of Poetry, God of Medicine, God of Archery, God of Music, God of Prophecy,
Apollo is a prominent deity within the Greek Pantheon. He is known as the "Sun God" (太陽神, Taiyō-Shin) and is a part of the Twelve Gods of Olympus. He is also known by the title of "Phoebus" (ポイボス, Poibosu) and is considered to be the "Boxing God" (ボクシングの神, Bokushingu no Kami). Through his own effort, Apollo has earned himself a number of distinguished titles, such as the "God of Philosophy" (哲学の神, Tetsugaku no Kami), the "God of Poetry" (詩歌の神, Shiika no Kami), the "God of Medicine" (医学の神, Igaku no Kami), the "God of Archery" (弓の神, Yumi no Kami), the "God of Music" (音楽の神, Ongaku no Kami) and the "God of Prophecy" (予言の神, Yogen no Kami), being praised as the most talented God. SPECIES: God AGE: Eons GENDER: Male PANTHEON: Greek Pantheon ORIGIN: Unknown (Heaven, possibly) RELATIVES: Artemis (Twin sister) Zeus(father) Appearance: Apollo is an attractive man with flowing long light pink hair that reaches down to his torso and a body of good physique. Like many of the Gods of the Greek Pantheon, he wears items related to Greece such as a laurel wreath, buskin sandals and toga. The toga though has elements of clothing more akin to a kimono such a sash around his torso (Obi) and flower designs on the outside of the chest area with it being opened to show his chest. He is decorated with jewelry with him wearing a necklace extending down his chest that resemble the sun and its rays, a chain that is a part of his sash and a decorated chain around his right leg. Underneath his Divine Weapon, he wears black gloves that only cover his thumbs, index and middle fingers, leaving his ring fingers and pinkies, and the area around them, exposed. Personality: Apollo appears to be an extremely narcissistic individual, who cares a lot about beauty, when it comes to himself and even others. When he had heard news of the deaths of other Greek Gods in Ragnarok, his first reaction wasn't to mourn them but rather, wish he could've been there to see their deaths as they must've looked beautiful when they died. In addition to being narcissistic, Apollo looks down on anyone who doesn't fit his own standards of what is beautiful. This is especially in the case of Humans such as at the start of the ninth round: when Leonidas leapt in before Heimdall could even finish saying "Fight!", Apollo criticised him for being like a wild beast, considering him less than a Human. Apollo's narcissistic nature has also made him have a flare for the dramatic, always doing grandiose and expressive poses. This was first demonstrated when he was in the bath and posing for each grand line, not caring if he was nude or not. This did not dim down in battle, with him outright mocking Leonidas with his expressions, words and poses. Apollo strongly believes that what makes a person beautiful is not what their outward appearance looks like – it's whether or not that person truly knows themself. He thinks that those aren't beautiful are those who rest on the laurels of their good fortune and do nothing more while those that are beautiful are those who know their own weaknesses and don't fear changing themselves. Abilities: Overall Abilities: Narcissism aside, Apollo is a formidable God in combat, thanks to his extreme reflexes and speed that make him nearly impossible to hit. Combined with his natural talent in boxing, Apollo can counter any attack without losing momentum or breath. So much so, he could put fighters like Leonidas on the ropes where even Leonidas' Völundr could not surprise the God enough to let his guard completely down. Physical Abilities: Godly Speed & Reflexes: Apollo had demonstrated not only speed to that of a God or Human fighter, but possibly speed that surpasses others. This was demonstrated when an angry Ares, the God of War, tried to slug the Sun God for his insolence while he was in the nude, with Apollo effortlessly dodging and even throwing the God of War into the water. Apollo can even quickly adapt to sudden attacks, with him able to dodge many of Leonidas' surprise attacks despite never seeing them until that moment. Godly Endurance & Stamina: Apollo has great resistance and can withstand very strong and painful blows. When Leonidas managed to hit Apollo with Phalanx Nemesis, he received the blow directly to his face and hit the ground so hard that he bounced off it and fell back to the ground face-first. Although it took him a while to get up, it didn't take him long, and his reaction was one of happiness and joy, fully accepting the unsightly wound on his face with pride. Mental Abilities: Self-Knowledge: Apollo was born as an ordinary and mediocre god, but thanks to his desire to be better, he managed to achieve all his titles, skills and competencies through pure hard work and effort. His knowledge of himself led him to improve and become one of the 12 Gods of Olympus. He is the first natural God who has accepted that he is weak and strived to be the strongest. Fighting Abilities: Master Boxer: Apollo has shown immense skill in boxing, evident by his ability to dodge Leonidas' quick attacks, while also being able to quickly strike back. Master Archer: Apollo has been classified as a very skilled archer, during his life he has trained and practiced a lot to become "God of Archery", in addition to that he himself has been able to kill several Giants, and destroy the defenses of Argos during the Gigantomachy, and also for the fact of wounding Leonidas numerous times. Supernatural Abilities: Semi-immortality: As a God, Apollo is incapable of dying due to old age. Divine Physiology: As a God, Apollo possesses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary Human. His body cannot be harmed by mortal weapons; however, he can still be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. Photokinesis: As the God of the Sun, Apollo can produce and control light. He can manipulate and craft the light into fine and durable threads for combat that can block Volundr-level attacks with ease. Matter Manipulation: Thanks to his threads of light that he can create, Apollo can manipulate and weave them to create any weapon or object he needs. This will open up an infinite number of possibilities such as a Shield, a Lyre, Boxing Gloves, a Bow, etc. Expectations-Induced Enhancement: Apollo can enhance his physical, mental and supernatural abilities based on the expectations and criticism of others, whether allies or enemies. This was seen when he activated his strongest form because of all the comments from the stands. It is a power that Zeus himself cannot define, since it is not tied to any type of logic or common sense. The more the public's emotion, the more affinity Apolo will have. Techniques: Phoebus' Lyre (The Shimmering Harp) (光輝きて堅琴ポイボス・ライアー, Poibosu Raiā): Apollo creates a pair of hands out of his threads and places his own hands into them, which transforms the Threads of Artemis into a pair of boxing bracers with pronounced wristbands and studded knuckles. These pair of bracers enhance Apollo's close-range boxing abilities. The Sun Shall Never Set on Me (Embrace of the Eternal Midnight Sun) (白夜の抱擁オレ様という太陽は沈まない, Oresama to iu Taiyō wa Shizumanai): Apollo's strongest battle mode. A power that defies all logic and common sense, Apollo can actually get stronger the more that he lives up to the expectations of those around him, whether they be an ally or an enemy. When this happens, Apollo emits a large amount of light from his body. Artemis Elenchos (Shining Domination) (光り輝く支配アルテミス・エレンコス, Arutemisu Erenkosu): Apollo wraps his threads around his opponent's limb to immobilise their movement. Apollo Epicurious (Golden Arrows of the Shining Meteor) (輝ける流星の黄金矢アポロン・エピクリオス, Aporon Epikuriosu): Apollo launches a large wave of his light arrows at his opponent to overwhelm them. Argyrotoxos (Soul-Piercing Silver Arrow) (魂を射抜し銀矢アリュギュロトクソス, Aryugyurotokusosu): If Apollo cannot draw his bow anymore, he can give the bow back to the statue. The statue will then deform the bow back into threads and form a very thick rope between its hands. Afterwards, the statue drops its hands to the ground and Apollo leans back on the rope while digging his feet really hard into the ground, drawing himself back like an arrow. Once he pulls his right fist back in preparation for a punch, Apollo lifts his feet up from the ground and is sent flying towards his opponent. While flying forward, Apollo's right fist hardens the light energy that is around it, creating an arrow covering it. This attack was powerful enough to destroy Leonidas' Völundr and deal a fatal blow through his body in the final moments of Round 9, though the arrow was broken on impact with the shield. Equipment: Threads of Artemis (アルテミスの糸, Arutemisu no Ito): A set of golden gauntlets with a dark blue underside, three small studs on each knuckle, and small holes above each fingertip. Upon Apollo producing light from his fingertips, they transform into threads that he can use for defensive or offensive purposes. Moonlight of Artemis (アルテミスの月影, Arutemisu no Tsukikage): Apollo's Threads of Artemis disappear from his hands and right after, a large shadow extends out behind him. A giant statue of Artemis then appears from the shadow, equipped with Apollo's Divine Weapon. The statue weaves the threads it produces to make a giant golden bow, its length being twice as tall as Apollo is. Apollo can use the bow to fire arrows of light, that are invisible when fired because they move at light speed. Because of how fast the arrows are, they are known as the fastest attack in Valhalla and Zeus believes no-one other than himself can defend against them. Gigantomachy: Along with all the other Greek Gods, Apollo took part in the Gigantomachy against Gaia and the Giants. It is noted by Hermes that this war was the last time Apollo shined greatly before the ninth round of Ragnarok. Zeus has stated that Apollo used his golden bow against the Giants during this war and that the Giants could do nothing against his arrows of light. During the time of Ancient Greece on Earth, a serpent-like monster called Python was driven out of Valhalla for his hideous appearance. Shunned by the Humans as well, Python took out his frustration on them by constantly terrorizing the village of Delphi. During one of his rampages, Ares sent his Divine Honor Guard to stop him but Python easily dealt with them. After hearing of this, the next day, Apollo went down to Earth and confronted Python at his hideout, wanting to meet Ares' expectations by defeating Python by himself, though Ares never asked him to. Python was excited to see Apollo as he perceived the God to be the complete opposite of himself. Thus, Python wanted to rip his face to shreds. Python charged forward but Apollo leapt in and punched Python squarely in the face. Apollo decided this was his win and Python found himself unable to get up, from just one punch. Not wanting to give up, Python shouted about how he hasn't lost yet and Apollo found that attitude great, telling Python that they shall continue their fight tomorrow. Apollo went to sleep in Python's bed and ordered him to find somewhere else to sleep. For the next several days, Apollo fought Python, defeating him in one punch every time. During one rainy day, Apollo got curious and asked Python why he continued to fight him. Python divulged to Apollo how he was despised and oppressed because of an appearance he didn't even ask for. The serpent cried and insisted that he couldn't stomach the thought of losing to Apollo, who seemed to have been blessed with everything from birth. When Python expressed his unwillingness to give up, Apollo said he was beautiful.[9] Python thought Apollo was making fun of him but Apollo clarified that he wasn't referring to Python's appearance; rather he found Python's soul beautiful. He explained to Python that he could understand him because he was the same. Apollo was originally a mediocre God but he worked hard and became recognized through effort alone, to the point where he was able to join the ranks of the Twelve Gods of Olympus. Apollo told Python that the ones who aren't beautiful to him are those who are satisfied with where they are while those who are beautiful, are those who know they aren't enough and don't fear changing themselves for the better. Finally understanding, Python then began crying over how he'd hurt so many people, but Apollo didn't hold it against him as he was just defending himself. Apollo decided to go back to Valhalla and Python shouted about how he still hasn't lost, causing Apollo to remark on how that's beauty. After Apollo left, Python stopped terrorizing Delphi and instead, built a temple dedicated to Apollo, engraving it with the words, "Know Thyself."
- #35Ragnarok
- #36Gods' Council
- #37Titanomachy Tournament
- #38Gigantomachy

- #40Valhalla

- #43Garden of Eden

- #50Humans
