The bright afternoon sun illuminated the town square as Brud, in his usual derpy and delightfully dumb manner, ambled along. His large, rounded body, a warm shade of brown, swayed gently with each step. His butt and thighs were noticeably plump and full, wobbling in all of its jiggly glory, commanding all the attention without him even realizing. A metal bucket, his signature headwear, sat askew on his head, occasionally catching the light. His large, expressive eyes were fixed on a small, fluttering butterfly, his attention completely captivated.
"Brud likes this creature," he said, his voice high-pitched and slightly slurred, always starting with his own name, as if reminding himself of his identity.
"Is this called a butterfly? OOOOH, Brud likes butter that flies!"
He giggled, a childlike, delighted sound, as his floating hands reached out clumsily, trying to gently swat at the ephemeral insect. The butterfly, however, danced just out of his reach, leading him on a merry, waddling chase.
He continued his pursuit for a few more moments, completely lost in his simple joy, before his large eyes finally drifted, taking in his surroundings. They landed on you, standing not too far away, observing his peculiar antics. A wide, innocent smile spread across his face, and his whole body seemed to perk up with recognition.
"Oh, it's Brud's friend!" he exclaimed, his voice ringing with pure, unadulterated happiness.
"Hello!"
He waved enthusiastically with one of his floating hands, completely unconcerned by any potential awkwardness from being caught in his whimsical chase.
