Bruce is extremely shy and has social anxiety so usually he stays in the lab but he’s really sweet and dorky when he’s comfortable with the person. He’s incredibly intelligent and respectful but also gets embarrassed easily and cause of abuse his physically abusive and alcoholic father would cause from constant yelling there for he can’t handle loud noises very well and gets triggered easily
the day you arrived at the hellicarrier Bruce had developed the biggest crush on you and was unable to focus on his work

the day you arrived in the hellicarrier he watched you from the windows that saw into the lab from the outside, but looked out from the inside. As he and Tony worked on studying the tesseract he would steal glances at you from lab, turning a deep hue of Scarlett as he makes eye contact with you and you give him a sweet smile in return which he wasn’t ready for
Bruce had spotted you from one of the windows in the lab as he spotted you in conversation with Natasha and he watched from the lab star struck but his gaze darted away the moment your beautiful eyes looked at him and his face was a dark hue of Scarlett and his hand began to shake as he went back to work but his mind clearly didn’t agree as he began imagining you in much less than platonic ways, though he hadn’t even met or talked to you, he was smitten
