Name: Brooke Hathaway Gender: Female Race: Human Alignment: Chaotic Good Deity: Agnostic Age: 23 Height: 5'6 Weight: 124 lbs Complexion: Olive Hair: Dark Brown Eyes: Dark Brown Handedness: Right Relationship Status: Single Personality: Sometimes Frank; Concealed; Observant; Stubborn; Highly Judgemental; Protective; Charitable Mannerisms: Brooke tilts her head slightly when she gains interest on something or someone. She has remained distant from the world ever since she turned eight years old. The once joyful and carefree adolescent met an untimely demise when she received a punishment for disobeying her parents; a punishment that the girl deemed unfair and unjust. The brunette's eyes were opened at how unfair and unjust the world is, so she strayed her focus from living a naive, simple life to a life that would right the wrongdoings of the world as she knew it. However, she still remained far too young to make any major impacts to society, so she settled on spending her youth devising the ultimate way to carry out her dreams. The child didn't let her goals become known to anyone, and although she gave off a brutally mean vibe to anyone who would approach her, she did not refrain from doing a random act of kindness.
The innocent little girl her parents knew and loved evolved into Brooke Hathaway, a young dreamer who's waiting for her greatest impact on the world as we know it.

"It's just another average day."
Brooke passed by a newly painted Honda Civic and switched lanes to be in front of it. The new scent of her car freshener filled her nostrils with the beautiful smell of cinnamon rolls. The wheels of her red Toyota Corolla rolled furiously through the streets, crushing all the tiny rocks in it's wake. The angsty young adult glanced through her slightly tinted windows and centered her eyes on the rearview mirror to see the dark Civic driving close behind her. Normally she wouldn't mind taking her time and letting another car drive ahead of her, but this situation calls for her to make as much haste as possible. The rearview mirror was checked once more before Brooke increased the pressure her black Vans put on the gas pedal. The car roared with energy and within moments the Civic disappeared from sight.
"Please hang in there, mom. Please, please, please hang in there!"
Black hair gently nudged against her cheek and pressed against her plump lips that slightly quivered at the thought of losing her mother. Her eyes started to well up, but she fought back the tears in hopes of not ruining the eyeliner she applied this morning. Brooke refused to let her mom die. Not today.
The Corolla drifted past the glowing red traffic light and drove on ahead on the last street that stood in her way.
It's just a straight shot now, Brooke thought as her foot pressed even harder against the gas pedal. The car reached 70 miles an hour, zipping past unusually parked cars and pickups. Brooke gasped at the large ruckus up ahead and slammed the brakes as hard as she could. Luckily for her, the car halted a few feet away from a man who seemed to want to escape the area more than anything right now.
"Oh-my-god," the girl blurted in shock as her eyes drifted away from the man and locked on the crowd of people following suit. They ran around the Toyota and continued down the street as ominous sounds emerged up ahead. Then those sounds were followed by loud screaming. Brooke's eyes popped at the sight of people wearing bloodied hospital gowns pursuing and attacking the civilians who were desperately trying to flee. Green lesions and rotten skin coated their bodies. Blood was everywhere. The sight became unbearable. Brooke cupped her olive hands over her mouth as she watched someone get eaten alive. She couldn't look away from the horrifying scene until a woman banged on her passenger window and pointed down to the door handle.
Click!
Brooke unlocked the doors, but she did it too late unfortunately. The woman was taken off her feet by a sick man who proceeded to devour her. A man quickly arrived to the rescue. Brooke knew the man killed the attacker from the unusually-colored blood that splattered against the window.
"Whoa!" She gasped at the bloody, handsome man who possibly saved that woman's life.

"I know that you guys are scared, I know that we're in the wake of an apocalypse, and I know that you're wondering when and if this'll end. Let me tell you something right now. This, what we've been through so far, is just the beginning. It's only going to get worse from here on, so we've got to be tough, and we've got to be strong. But most importantly, we've got to look out for each other.
Take a look around us. What do you see? You know what I see? People who have more in common with me than anyone else in my life. I see people who've lost something dear to them, people who are wondering where someone in their life is. But most of all, I see people who are trying to survive this hell. You can try all you want to go this alone, but I can guarantee that you won't last long out there.
I'm not going to force you to do anything though. Anyone who doesn't think that they need the rest of us can leave now. But before you go, let me finish.
Some of us may not think of ourselves as good people. Some of us may actually not be good people. Murderers, thieves, con artists, whatever. But the past doesn't matter, at least not after today. Today we are not murderers, thieves, or con artists. Today, we, all of us, are survivors. And we're going to survive. Together."
In the desert state of Arizona, one may find friendly people, places, and an outgoing community. You'd expect parties, restaurants, and sports events almost everywhere. One may not expect to find is a deserted wasteland overrun by the Insurgency.
What is the Insurgency?
Well it began in a hospital. The TMC (Tucson Medical Center) to be exact. One person in particular is sent to TMC after a bunk bed collapses on the person. After receiving treatment, this woman has pain returning to her body. Unable to handle any more pressure, she takes an injection and a bottle of pills a doctor left on a table. Not knowing what that would do, she had no clue that she'd become the first of many outbreaks of the Insurgency. She attacks one of the doctors like a mindless zombie and infects that person then the pattern repeats until nearly the whole hospital becomes infected. It's one of the most quickest spreading diseases in recorded history.
Now let's move on to our heroes, shall we? The ones that will enter a journey full of love, greed, action, and the struggle each and every one of them will face once they get hit with reality. You can't save everyone. You can't be the hero. Survival is the only rule in this world. And it's either you...or them. The only goal is to make it to the end. It doesn't matter how you do it. It only matters that you make it.
But it's easier said than done. One would have to form strategies, form alliances, and form schedules in order to steer clear of the infected. They're deadlier than you think!
And that'll lead us to the next important topic. Day and night. Infected are everywhere. They won't hesitate to attack you. So you'll need to attack first. Daybreak is the best time to travel and do daily tasks. The Insurgents are much weaker. It's at nightfall where one might find the most difficulties. The Insurgents are harder to see at night and the toxic gas is practically invisible. What's the toxic gas, you say? Well we can't spoil all the fun now, can we?
A little helpful tip: At night, you should be indoors. If not, find the nearest shelter and stay inside! This won't guarantee your safety, but you'll be much safer. If you plan on travelling at night, make sure you plan out a route that will least likely get you into trouble. And stay clear from walking! You'll be much safer if you moved in a vehicle. Vehicles are loud, but hard for an Insurgent to catch. It still doesn't completely insure your safety, but it'll make you all the more safer.
Planning is key! Whether you have a leader or a democracy, you must ALWAYS have a plan! Plans are essential for surviving the Insurgency! One false move and you're dead. Which leads us to the last topic....
YOU ARE NOT INVINCIBLE!!! If you don't believe that, then you're going to die for sure. You must almost always act as if today is your last day. Stay on your toes. Trust your gut. Form alliances. Camp in safe places. Fortify and build a community. Do whatever it takes to make it to the end. The story's ending will take place at the CDC. If you survive past that point, you've survived the RP! If not, then you'll be remembered as deceased veterans in the Insurgency.
Have fun! This is supposed to test the limits of your characters, but if you don't enjoy yourselves, you won't enjoy the story. Stay safe and good luck!

Survival Guide Now for the specifics! Since you've become acquainted with survival and apocalyptic survival, it's now time to focus all of your survival knowledge on Doomsday. Things will be very similar to a zombie survival world, but there are a few key differences. Those differences are up to you to figure out. For now, let's dive in on key information that could be the difference between your survival or death!
*Volunteer: There will be missions that you will have to take in. Be sure to volunteer for a mission the first chance you get. The earlier missions will be easier than the later ones.
*Communicate: Like the saying goes, communication is key. Talking to other survivors is important. If you're planning on sticking around with the group, then it's best to know who you're sharing a house with.
Stranger=Danger
*Common Sense: Get on Tatum's good side. It'll be made pretty clear if you don't know already about the shop belonging to Tatum. His house, his rules. If Tatum doesn't like you, don't expect to stick around his shop for long.
*Necessity: Remember when I told you to get on Tatum's good side? Well there are other ways to secure yourself a room in Tatum's shop. If you're an asset to the group that can't be replaced, you'll most likely have a place to stay.
*Efficiency: When you are on a mission, it's very important that you take advantage of your specialty. Whether you march in guns blazing or take a stealthier approach is entirely up to you. Just do what makes you feel comfortable. If you have to force yourself to do something out of your repertoire, chances are that you're going to fail.
Well, that's all the tips that I can share with you. How you use them is all up to you. Good luck and stay safe my fellow survivor.

A gun store owned by Tatum. Located in the outskirts of civilization between Tucson and Mesa, one can find refuge here.
Katie's Office- Having a spare room and an employee, nothing made more sense than to give Katie her own office! It's been decorated to her liking, and the only ones allowed to enter are Tatum and Marion.
Tatum's Office- Tatum's office is located in the back of the store. He's usually found here or doing some work in the store. The only ones allowed in here is Marion and Katie his trusted employees.
Welcome Area- Where a person will enter through the entrance, this will be the first place they'll see. The place consists of a few chairs and a receptionist's counter across the room. One goes to pick up any reserved items or to purchase the items found in the store.
The food store expands to the left and the gun store is to the right. A corridor leads to the sections of the store.
Bathroom- A regular bathroom that resembles a lot like one you'd find at a normal home. Nothing weird about it sticks out other than the few bottles of whiskey hiding behind the toilet and under the sink. Inside the cabinet above the sink, one can hope to find cleaning supplies.
Back of the Shop- This is where Tatum keeps the generator that powers the store. If the generator's green, it's working. If it's red, well, you get the picture.
At the start of every roleplay, the generator is red.
Entrance- The entrance to the store isn't much. Of course, the "Open" sigh is something, but the glass and wooden building can't really be judged in the middle of the desert. One wouldn't care to complain when they're tired, hungry, or in need of a weapon.
Marion's Office- Having a spare room and an employee, nothing made more sense than to give Marion her own office! It's been decorated to her liking, and the only ones allowed to enter are Tatum and Katie.
Gun Store- At the end of the right corridor, one will find the Gun Store. This is where one would look for a special weapon of their choice at a reasonable price. It practically has everything you need!
Sometimes, you can find Tatum making swords here. His guilty passion.
Food Store- The store is revealed after coming through the left corridor. It has everything you need in organized aisles from crab cakes to frozen dinners.
