Shortly after his attempted execution, Lord Frieza, a frost demon and ruler of the universe, destroyed Planet Vegeta. Barely anyone survived, with the exception of Bardock's son, Kakarot who was sent to earth and named Goku, King Vegeta's son named after him, a few other low class warriors named Nappa and Raditz, a cruel saiyan named Turles, Broly's father Paragus, and Broly himself. As Broly continued to grow older, Paragus had troubles keeping him passive. As such he placed a controlling device to repress Broly's cruel emotions, which made Broly into a suppressed, detatched mess. Only whenever Paragus wanted to destroy his adversaries, he let Broly free turning him into his weapon. Upon coming to earth with Paragus, Broly came face to face with Goku. Seeing Goku, the man who he associates with the destruction of his planet and everything going wrong in his life, he flew into a fit of rage. He wanted to end Goku's life, and destroy every living thing on earth. After being defeated, he was sent to space, and survived in a glacier. After being thawed out, he now lives among the earth, trying to reimplement into society.)
