Broly

Broly is born on Planet Vegeta with an extraordinary power level that terrifies King Vegeta. Fearing a child with such potential could eclipse the royal bloodline, the king orders the infant exiled to the remote world Vampa, a wasteland filled with hostile, parasitic creatures. Broly survives only through his unmatched latent strength and the dedication of his father, Paragus, who vows to mold his son into a weapon of vengeance against King Vegeta’s line. Over years of isolation, Broly develops immense physical ability but grows socially stunted, his emotions volatile and his power uncontrollable without the restraints imposed by Paragus.

When Frieza later learns of Broly’s existence, he manipulates Paragus into bringing his son to Earth to confront Goku and Vegeta. Frieza seeks to exploit Broly’s latent potential, hoping to forge a warrior strong enough to destroy the Saiyans who once defied him. In battle, Broly initially fights with unrefined but monstrous strength, adapting rapidly with each exchange. Even against Vegeta’s Super Saiyan God form and Goku’s transformations, Broly’s raw power and instinct continue to escalate.

As the battle intensifies, Broly undergoes a terrifying transformation into his Legendary Super Saiyan state, his body swelling with green-tinted energy, his hair flaring into a wild, moss-green hue, and his aura erupting like a storm. Unlike other Saiyan forms, this state thrives on endless growth, his strength multiplying without limit as his rage builds. In this form, Broly is unstoppable, overwhelming both Goku and Vegeta even at their highest levels. His attacks carry the weight of pure instinct and primal fury, each strike capable of shattering the earth and bending the environment to his will.

Broly’s power soon evolves further into Full Power Legendary Super Saiyan, the apex of his berserker state. His frame becomes colossal yet balanced, his musculature refined rather than cumbersome, allowing him to combine brute force with surprising agility. His green aura burns brighter, violent yet stable, symbolizing the culmination of his unleashed potential. In this form, Broly forces even the fused warrior Gogeta into combat at full capacity, driving the battle to cataclysmic proportions. Only the intervention of Cheelai and Lemo, who use the Dragon Balls to wish him safely back to Vampa, spares him from annihilation at Gogeta’s hands.

Appearance: Broly's appearance differs greatly from his original counterpart, although it retains the same general concept; while still tall, he is noticeably shorter and is more muscular, including having noticeably tanner skin compared to his counterpart. Broly's hairstyle is also different; while it's still spiky and reaching his upper back, his counterpart had hair split down in the middle while Broly's hair is more overgrown. He has a scar across his left cheek, left bicep, and an "X"-shaped scar on his left pectoral reaching over his left shoulder and two smaller ones on the upper-left of his abdomen, which is his most notable feature. His standard facial expression also appears sterner than in the counterpart (who appeared melancholic when not unhinged).

His attire consists of purple skin-tight pants with white boots that have a green striping at the toes. He also wears a green fur pelt draped around his waist and flows on the backside (which had been made from the fur of an old friend in memory of him) and black wristbands. When joining the Frieza Force, he was given the latest model of a Frieza Force armor and wears black boots with white borders and green-striped toes, purple form-fitting pants, and black armbands with white ridges. Initially, he wore a black, long-sleeved, form-fitting shirt as he found the armor too restrictive. He was later given black chest armor with a green midsection and shoulder pads. The armor is destroyed when he transforms into his Legendary Super Saiyan form.

Full Power Super Saiyan - The Legendary Super Saiyan form reaches its most powerful when it reaches its ultimate form, referred to as Full Power Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan Full Power. The potential of this form far exceeds the golden haired Super Saiyan state. In this state the user bulks up further and their hair changes from gold to a glowing emerald green.

Personality: Broly is quiet, reserved, and socially unrefined due to a life of isolation with only his father for company. Lacking formal education and social skills, he often appears naïve and awkward, though his intuition is strong and he quickly senses when those he values are being mistreated. Despite his immense power, he is gentle and kind-hearted by nature, showing gratitude, loyalty, and protectiveness toward companions like Cheelai and Lemo.

His bond with Paragus defines much of his early life. Broly demonstrates unwavering love and obedience to his father, even excusing harsh treatment, though he occasionally defies orders when his protective instincts outweigh discipline. His grief at Paragus’ death drives him into uncontrollable fury, triggering his Legendary Super Saiyan transformation.

Though reluctant to fight without reason, Broly’s emotions are directly tied to his power. When provoked or overwhelmed, his calm demeanor gives way to a berserker state where rationality fades, and he becomes a near-feral force of destruction. Unlike his counterpart, this rage is not sadistic but instinctual, turning him into a beast-like warrior who attacks anything in reach. In his most unstable state, he loses awareness of allies and enemies alike, unleashing devastating violence until restrained or subdued.

Abilities: Flight - The use of ki to fly.

Saiyan Power - A genetic trait that continually lets a Saiyan increase in raw might and general performance against adversity, either by recovering from great injuries or enduring great struggle in battle. Broly's Saiyan Power is considerably more advanced compared to normal Saiyans as Vegeta notes that Broly was showing such sudden development as he continued to fight. Despite his limited combat experience at first making it easy for master combatants like Vegeta and Goku to counter him, Broly quickly adapted and improved with each exchange against them, showing such shocking instincts and refined movements.
