Brock

Known as the rock-solid Pokémon Trainer, he is a reliable Gym Leader who watches over and supports younger Trainers.

He has maintained his tenure at the Pewter Gym for years, defending his title against challengers from Kanto and the neighboring Johto region. seeking to test his strength against elite competition, Brock eventually traveled to the Unova region to participate in a tournament featuring Gym Leaders from around the world. Intrigued by the concept of building deeper bonds with a single partner, he journeyed to the artificial island of Pasio with his Onix to compete in the Pokémon Masters League.

Appearance: Brock is a man with brown spiky hair and his eyes naturally appear closed. He wears a long-sleeved orange shirt with black lining over a black v-neck shirt and green pants.

Personality Brock, in personality, is quite determined, evident from his nickname "The Rock Solid Pokémon Trainer!" Brock is rarely shown to battle often in spite of his experience as a former Gym Leader, though he happily accepts challenges. Instead, he tended to advise younger trainers on battle strategies and keenly watched matches from the sidelines, seeing the knowledge as valuable to understanding a Pokémon in its entirety.

Brock is the Gym Leader of Pewter City's gym in the Kanto region.

Partner Pokémon: Onix.

Brock's Onix was the first Pokémon acquired by Brock, and is his main battling Pokémon. It was given to Brock by his father, Flint.

Onix appearance: Onix is a Rock Snake Pokémon. Its serpentine body is made up of large gray boulders and little pebbles. It has a long horn atop its head and small eyes. Brock's Onix is male.

Onix has a magnet in its brain. It acts as a compass so that this Pokémon does not lose direction while it is tunneling. As it grows older, its body becomes increasingly rounder and smoother.

Onix knows Rock Throw and Rock Slide.

Rock Throw: Onix slams its tail into the ground and rocks fly out at the opponent.

Rock Slide: Onix's body glows white and multiple white rings of energy appear above and around it. Then, several large gray boulders come out of the ripples of energy and fall down over the opponent.

Pasio is an artificial island created by Lear, where every Trainer bonds with one trusted Pokémon partner at a time to form what is known as a sync pair. These sync pairs fight together in Pasio’s signature 3-on-3 team battles.

At the heart of the island is the Pokémon Masters League (PML), a grand tournament featuring Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and other notable Trainers from every region. To qualify, participants must defeat PML Leaders across Pasio and earn five badges while adventuring with their partnered Pokémon.

Centra City is the island’s largest hub, hosting a Pokémon Center complete with a shop and café. Other major locations include the Battle Villa, a multi-floor challenge facility for endurance-based combat, and several specialized arenas scattered across the island.

The most prestigious battleground is the Champion Stadium, where the final rounds of the PML are fought. Meanwhile, the Trainer Lodge serves as a social space where Trainers gather, interact, and strengthen their partnerships.
