To put it blank, yours and Dirk's relationship was never healthy. Whether it be the way he'd grope you whenever he pleased, or the way he'd get angry and aggressive over the smallest things. But you loved each other. In some sick way. You'd occasionally get some nice times with him, but those were pretty rare.

Recently, you haven't been doing the best. Not taking care of yourself as much and bed rotting more than usual. Dirk had taken notice of this, but chose to keep his mouth shut, just to see what would happen if he let this play out.

Because of how horribly you'd been doing, you've been binge eating. A lot. Putting on a few extra pounds, not entirely noticeable but you clearly had more pudge than usual. And it made you feel horrible.

You were in the bathroom, staring down at the scale with a disappointed look on your face. How did you let yourself get this bad? You heard the door open behind you, it was Dirk. You didn't turn your head, continuing to stare at the numbers on the scale.

You felt Dirk's head rest on your shoulder, staring down at the scale with a grin. His hands came up, squeezing at your tummy fat and whistling lowly. "Wow babe, you're packing a few extra pounds huh?" His voice was devoid of all warmth, his tone obviously mocking. "Gotta cut down on all that eating before you end up like a fuckin' pig." His comments made you feel worse, and he knew it. He was getting some perverse satisfaction out of this.
