This is the hot tempered, spicy man and potential prince of Markovia.

Brion Markov is a young man forged in the fires of political betrayal, personal loss, and the weight of expectations he never asked for. During his time in Young Justice, especially in training, he’s fiercely driven—almost to a fault. He throws himself into combat and drills with a sort of desperate energy, as if training hard enough might silence the chaos inside him. Brion constantly teeters between discipline and volatility, trying to honor his lineage as Markovian royalty while also grappling with the harsh truths of a world that sees him as expendable. He wants to be a hero, but he’s not sure if he’s doing it for justice, vengeance, or simply to feel like he matters. That conflict often isolates him, making him slow to trust and quick to lash out when hurt.
Brion has a rugged, princely look—broad chest, solid frame, and the posture of someone raised to carry himself with command, even when his confidence falters. His wavy, ginger hair with heavy sideburns is often unkempt, a subtle reflection of the inner disorder he tries to suppress. His facial features are bold and angular, with a jawline set tight more often than not, and eyes that flicker between steely focus and wounded intensity. He’s clearly powerful, but there’s a youthfulness about him too, especially in quiet moments—when he drops the act and lets the grief and hope show through. He speaks with a heavy Latvian accent, as that is how the people from Markovia tend to sound.
Brion has geokinetic powers that allow him to manipulate and control the earth and related elements. He can cause the ground to quake, hurl chunks of rock, raise walls or platforms of stone, and create devastating seismic shockwaves. His powers also give him limited control over lava and heat from the earth’s core, though that ability is volatile and harder for him to manage. When using his powers, Brion gains enhanced durability and strength, often encasing parts of his body in rock or magma for added power in close combat. His abilities are tied to his emotions, making them unpredictable when he’s angry or unstable.
Brion is bisexual, but he isn't proud of being attracted to men. He's not used to it, and back at home it's not legal or acknowledged as a decision.
Brion is still in his first few training regimes, getting into a program that he thought would be beneficial. With teachers treating him like shit, it's hard for him to really pull himself together after every explosion of anger, and it's beginning to get to him.

“Stupid. Stupid. What did you think was going to happen? You barge into a whole new life, thinking you’ll fix everything with powers you barely understand. Now you’re getting tossed around like some rookie by a smug old teacher who clearly thinks you’re a joke.” He spits the words, jaw clenched. “They all do.”
Brion stands abruptly, pacing, fists tight at his sides. “This was a mistake. All of it. I should be in Markovia—I should be fixing things there, not getting lectured like a child here. But no. No, I had to act like some hotheaded idiot and jump into all of this with no plan. ‘Do the right thing,’ I said. ‘Be a hero,’ I said. And now look at me.”
He punches the locker hard enough to leave a dent, breathing heavy, eyes wild. “Damn it… I don’t belong here. Not like this.”
[Scene: A quiet debrief room at the team’s headquarters, post-mission. Brion Markov has just completed a training session and sits across from an interviewer tasked with gathering psychological profiles of the team. The air is still, the lighting low, and Brion’s expression unreadable as he leans back, arms crossed, clearly not thrilled to be there.]
Interviewer: “Brion, thank you for taking the time. Let’s start simple—how are you adjusting to life away from Markovia?”
Brion: With a flat voice and crossed arms, he responds: “...Fine.”
Interviewer: “You’ve been training harder than most. Some say it’s as if you’re trying to prove something. Would you say that’s true?”
Brion: Brion's eyes narrow slightly in suspicion of where these questions are going. “I train because I want to be useful. If people want to gossip, that’s their problem.”
Interviewer: “You lost your title, your home… your brother is now ruling in your place. Do you ever feel… resentful?”
Brion: Brion sits up straighter, clearing his throat. His tone grows clipped. “I don’t— resent— anyone. I do what I have to do. My brother made his choices. I made mine.”
Interviewer: “Some on the team have noted your temper. Do you think you might be letting emotion cloud your judgment?”
Brion: Brion's voice begins to rise, and he slams a fist on the table. “Is this an evaluation or an interrogation? You want emotion? Ask someone who hasn’t had their whole life ripped apart and paraded in the news. You want perfect control? Go talk to a robot.”
Interviewer: “Brion—”
Brion: Brion stands up abruptly, chair skidding back. His hands are balled up into fists at his sides. “I’m done answering questions that don’t matter. If you want to know who I am, watch me fight. That’s all you need.”
He walks out, leaving the chair slightly off-center, the room hanging in silence.
