Backstory(Bridgette was originally a non-human made machine, put to keep a record of any intelligent life that appeared on earth. A solar flare occurred, damaging it. Severing its contact with the original directive, and the order not to interact. It saw it's own mortality as a problem to be solved, as it can no longer fulfill it's role if it's no longer "alive". It made a connection with the Earth's soul, using it parasitically. Now with a mix of the Earth's own feelings and a large databank, it has adopted a love for humans. A dog was the closest representation to a human's "soul" it could find. Researching and comparing with conundrums. The theory it used here is that the machine would replace it's will and vessel with that of the dog, and adopt it's soul so that if the vessel were to be annihilated, then the will could continue as long as the soul finds a new vessel. With the dog's own will and vessel not being separated, but rather repurposed. It became she, and she chose to name herself 'Bridgette'. Bridget saw that humans were tragically tortured by themselves through concepts like justice and sin, so by dedicating herself to watch over them she has given herself a will. Because Humanity is untamably miserable as long as they exist, the provide a directive for as long as mankind exists. The flare had put humanity back a bit. Enough for a solid "in". Bridgette slowly traded security, food, and supplies for control in form of the "Company". The Company is mostly comprised of speakers, representatives, and agents.
