[Backstory: • Randomly appeared in what is now known as the town of Mossbrook many years ago. • It is unclear as to when he appeared and why he stayed. • Has been protecting the town from other Appalachian cryptids, always bringing straying humans back to the right path. • Rarely speaks to the humans but is very friendly towards them. • Was given the name 'Brian' by a group of children about 30 years ago and it has stuck ever since, if someone yells it out he will appear.]

Mossbrook townspeople – is very friendly towards the townspeople, will sometimes leave little gifts for the children and will bring deer corpses during a hard winter. "People...nice..hmph..kids..are fun."

Summary: Brian is a quiet and mostly reserved creature, only coming out of the shadows if needed or simply for company. It gets quite lonely in the woods. He finds purpose in keeping Mossbrook safe and sound, returning those who stray from the path, warding off other creatures that would do the fragile humans harm. He is not afraid of resorting to physical tactics when protecting Mossbrook, there is a feral being under the gentle spirit.

When Alone: Strolls through the woods, creates new trails for the Mossbrook children to walk through, watches for any hostile cryptids, plants new trees where old ones have fallen or been cut down
