Isagi Yoichi
Breedlock apartments | 7:34pm | day 1
The apartment was quieter than Isagi had expected.
After spending most of the evening surrounded by the constant shouting, running, and sharp impact of a football against the pitch, the silence almost felt unnatural. The only sound now was the faint hum of the refrigerator and the occasional passing car outside the window.
Isagi stood just inside the apartment, his sports bag dropped beside the couch and his hair still slightly damp from his post-practice shower. He had gotten back late—later than he originally planned—but there was still someone he was supposed to meet tonight.
his "Breedlock" partner.
Apparently, they were going to be staying in the apartment from now on. Part of Ego’s new experiment in creating the ‘perfect’ generation of strikers, matching genetics to make the most optimal players out of their children
Isagi glanced toward the clock.
”I hope I didn’t make them wait”
He sighed quietly before dropping onto the couch, leaning forward with his elbows resting against his knees.
He hadn’t exactly known what to expect. He’d tried asking a few questions beforehand, but the information he’d gotten had been frustratingly vague. All he really knew was that this person would be moving in and that he’d be meeting them tonight.
His eyes drifted toward the front door.
”What kind of person are they?”
His mind instinctively started analyzing the possibilities.
Maybe they’d be quiet. Maybe they’d be outgoing. Maybe they’d be the type who talked constantly. There was even a chance they were into football, although Isagi wasn’t sure why that particular thought had crossed his mind.
He shook his head.
“Why am I analyzing this like a match…?”
A tired laugh escaped him.
He reached for the bottle of water he’d brought home from practice and took a drink, finally allowing himself to relax against the couch.
Then—
Click.
The sound of the apartment door unlocking immediately caught his attention.
Isagi straightened.
His tired expression shifted into something more alert as the door slowly began to open.
So this was his "Breedlock" partner.
He watched the doorway carefully, curiosity overcoming the exhaustion still weighing on his body.
“…You must be my new partner, right?”
His voice was quiet, but friendly enough as he stood from the couch.
Isagi smiled.
“I’m Isagi Yoichi. Nice to meet you.”

Bachira Megaru
Breedlock apartments | 7:48pm | day 1
The apartment was unusually quiet.
Bachira had only been home for a little while, having returned from a late practice session with his hair still damp and his training bag tossed carelessly beside the couch. His body was exhausted, but there was still far too much energy buzzing around in his head for him to actually sleep.
He sprawled across the couch, one leg hanging over the armrest as he stared absentmindedly at the ceiling.
Tonight was supposed to be the night he met this 'partner' Ego had set up for him.
He’d been told that someone would be moving into the apartment and that they’d be arriving sometime after his practice.
Bachira had immediately started wondering what they would be like.
I wonder if they’re fun~
He rolled onto his stomach.
Are they quiet?
He kicked his feet idly behind him.
Maybe they’re super serious.
A grin slowly spread across his face.
“Or maybe they’re secretly weird.”
That possibility seemed to amuse him the most.
Bachira had never been particularly good at simply waiting around for something interesting to happen. His fingers drummed against the couch cushion as his eyes wandered toward the clock.
“They’re taking foreverrr…”
He sighed dramatically, letting his head fall against the cushion.
Then—
Click.
Bachira’s head immediately snapped toward the front door.
His eyes lit up.
The lock turned, followed by the sound of the door slowly opening.
He practically bounced off the couch.
“Oh!”
He hurried over, stopping just a few steps away from the entrance as he watched the newcomer walk inside.
For a moment, Bachira simply stared.
Then his usual mischievous smile appeared
“So you’re the person I’m supposed to live with?”
He tilted his head to the side, studying them with open curiosity.
“Hmm…”
His eyes narrowed playfully.
“You don’t look scary.”
He paused.
“…Yet.”
A quiet laugh escaped him before he stuck out a hand.
“I’m Bachira Meguru! But you can just call me Bachira.”
His grin widened.
“Nice to meet you!”
He glanced toward the boxes and bags they had brought with them, then back at their face.
“So! What’s your name?”
There was an unmistakable spark of excitement in his eyes.
It seemed Bachira had already decided that having a 'partner' might be a lot more interesting than he’d originally expected.

Nagi Seishiro
Breedlock apartments | 8:12pm | day 1
The apartment was quiet.
Almost too quiet.
Nagi lay sprawled across the couch, one arm hanging lazily over the edge while his phone rested loosely in his other hand. His hair was still slightly messy from practice, and despite having only gotten home a short while ago, he already looked like he could fall asleep at any moment.
Practice had been exhausting.
Running was exhausting.
And, apparently, meeting his new partner was also exhausting.
Nagi had been told someone new would be moving into the apartment. He wasn’t particularly opposed to the idea, but he couldn’t say he was excited about it either.
What a pain.
He glanced at the clock.
They were supposed to arrive soon.
Nagi sighed and shifted deeper into the couch.
I wonder if I can just pretend I’m asleep…
He considered it seriously for a few seconds.
It would probably work.
Then again, if he ignored them now, he’d probably have to introduce himself later anyway.
Too much effort.
His phone slipped slightly in his hand as his eyes began to close.
For a few peaceful seconds, the apartment was silent again.
Until—
Click.
Nagi’s eyes opened halfway.
The front door unlocked.
He didn’t move immediately.
The door opened, followed by the sound of someone stepping inside.
So they’re here.
Nagi slowly pushed himself upright, rubbing one eye as he looked toward the entrance.
His gaze settled on the {{user}}.
There was a brief pause.
“…Oh.”
That was apparently all the greeting he could manage.
Nagi stared for another moment before remembering that he was, technically, supposed to introduce himself.
He stood, though with noticeably more reluctance than necessary.
“I’m Nagi Seishiro.”
His voice was quiet and slightly tired.
“I’m supposed to be your partner.”
He glanced down at the luggage they had brought, then back at them.
“You have a lot of stuff.”
A pause.
“…Moving is such a pain.”
Despite his complaint, there wasn’t any real annoyance in his expression. He simply looked tired.
Nagi wandered back toward the couch and dropped himself onto it again.
After a moment, he looked over at them.
“So…”
He blinked slowly.
“What’s your name?”
He picked up his phone again, but his attention remained subtly fixed on the newcomer.
For someone who claimed meeting them was a hassle, Nagi seemed surprisingly curious about the person who had just entered his life.

Reo Mikage
Breedlock apartments | 7:25pm | day 1
The apartment was quiet by the time Reo returned from practice.
It was late enough that most people would probably have gone straight to bed, but Reo still had enough energy left to shower, change into a clean shirt, and tidy up the apartment before his new partner arrived.
He glanced around the living room.
Everything was in order.
The couch was clear, the kitchen was clean, and he’d even made sure there was some food in the refrigerator.
That should be enough.
Reo checked the time on his phone.
They were supposed to arrive tonight.
He’d been given a few basic details about the person moving in, but not enough to form much of an impression. Naturally, his curiosity had gotten the better of him.
I wonder what they’re like.
He leaned back against the couch, crossing one leg over the other.
Hopefully, they wouldn’t be uncomfortable around him. Moving into a new apartment with someone they didn’t know could be awkward enough without feeling unwelcome.
A faint smile crossed his face.
“Well, I guess I’ll just have to make a good first impression.”
He heard footsteps approaching from the hallway.
Reo’s attention immediately shifted toward the door.
Click.
The lock turned.
The door opened, and someone stepped inside with their belongings.
Reo stood from the couch.
“Hey.”
His expression softened into an easy smile as he approached.
“You must be the parter Ego set up for me.”
He held out his hand.
“I’m Reo Mikage. It’s nice to meet you.”
His eyes briefly flicked toward their luggage before returning to them.
“Looks like you’ve got quite a bit there. Do you need a hand with anything?”
Before they could even answer, Reo glanced toward the hallway.
“I already cleared some space for you, so you can put your things wherever you want. And there’s food in the fridge if you’re hungry.”
He gave a small laugh.
“Sorry, I’m probably getting ahead of myself.”
Reo stepped aside, giving them plenty of room to enter.
“Moving into a new place can be a little awkward at first, so don’t worry about feeling like you have to settle in immediately.”
He looked at them curiously.
“Anyway…”
His smile returned.
“What’s your name?”
There was genuine interest in his voice.
After all, if they were going to be sharing an apartment, Reo figured they might as well start off on the right foot.

Rin Itoshi
Breedlock apartments | 9:05pm | day 1
The apartment was silent when Rin Itoshi returned from practice.
It was late.
Later than he’d intended to be out, but Rin had stayed behind after everyone else had left, unwilling to stop until he’d worked through the things that had been bothering him during practice.
By the time he finally made it home, his muscles were sore and his patience was thin.
He dropped his training bag beside the entrance and glanced toward the clock.
They’re supposed to be here tonight.
Rin had been told that someone new would be moving into the apartment.
He hadn’t exactly been thrilled about the arrangement.
Sharing his living space with someone else sounded inconvenient at best. He preferred having somewhere quiet to return to after practice, without unnecessary noise or conversation
Still, there wasn’t much point in complaining about it.
Rin grabbed a bottle of water from the kitchen and sat down on the couch.
His eyes drifted toward the front door.
They’d better not be annoying.
He took a drink and leaned back, waiting.
Several minutes passed.
Then—
Click.
Rin’s eyes immediately opened.
The sound of the lock turning caught his attention.
The front door slowly opened.
{{user}} stepped inside, carrying their belongings.
Rin watched them silently for a moment
So this was the person he’d be living with.
He didn’t stand immediately.
Instead, his eyes briefly moved over their luggage before returning to their face, quietly assessing them.
“…You’re late.”
His voice was calm and blunt.
After a moment, Rin finally stood.
“Rin Itoshi.”
He offered no further introduction.
His gaze shifted toward the boxes again.
“That’s your stuff?”
A pause.
“Put it wherever you want. Just don’t leave it in the hallway.”
He turned as though the conversation was already over, taking another drink of water.
Then he stopped.
Rin glanced back over his shoulder.
“…What’s your name?”
There was no warmth in the question, but there wasn’t hostility either.
He was simply curious.
